Sports anime with females protagonists?
Can you recommend me some sports anime with females protagonists that doesn't rely too much in moe or fanservice? I enjoy both moe and fanservice, but this time I want something a little more serious and realistic. Martial arts are also welcome.
Thanks!
Help finding hentai anime
Was hoping you guys could help me locate a hentai animation that I can't seem to remember. I believe it may have been adapted from a dojinshi though I may be misremembering. So the hentai is about a guy who meets his next door neighbor who is a girl who lives alone. Her dad works at night so she spends most of the time and the neighbor happens to run into her at a convenience store. He buys food for both of them and takes her over to his place. Eventually he gains guardianship of the girl from the father and from there he proceeds to do lewd things.
The story eventually switches over to the girls perspective and despite everything she knows what get neighbor is doing is wrong but she doesn't have very many friends since kids at school mistreat hey and the neighbor is nice to her at least. Eventually the neighbor takes her to go buy new clothes but she is still mocked by her schoolmates.
That's about as much as I can remember. Thanks for any help
Looking for a certain type of show
I really enjoy shows that tackle deep philosophical issues with the seriousness they deserve. Evangelion was my introduction to this type, and recently I've strongly enjoyed Mob Psycho 100, Ergo Proxy and Paranoia Agent. The weirder the better, but only so long as there's an actually point to the absurdity beyond just being strange.
Request: Yubel riding Supreme King, Haou
Both characters are from yugioh gx and yubel is a hermaphrodite in the context of this request, the position for this request would be reverse cowgirl with yubel ontop nevertheless if somebody could fulfill this request for me that would nice.
Cute Girls Bullying Cute Girls
I'm looking for anime, manga, or light novels that feature a cast of female characters in which bullying takes place. Things like a group of girls bullying another girl, or a bitchy girl antagonising a whole group of girls. Lolis bullying a cowtits, or a loli being bullied by cowtits. Not interested in male bullies or male victims. Essentially, I'm looking for what Ro-Kyu-Bu had regarding that subject matter, but 10x more of it. Any suggestions?
By the way, how can I more efficiently use tools available to me to answer questions like this? I tried the advanced search on anidb. Searching for both of the tags "bullying" and "cute girls doing cute things" yields only Konohana Kitan (I never actually finished this anime, but it didn't seem like what I'm looking for). The tags "bullying" and "yuri" yield only hentai/ecchi stuff, and the tags "bullying" and "predominantly female cast" are still so broad that they include things like Demi-chan wa Kataritai.
Mecha waifu anime/manga
Looking for something like Darling in the Franxx but with sentient mecha waifus instead of second-pilot thots and with a pilot-mecha relationship dynamic instead of all the usual Eva bullshit.
Not as in just regular robot-girls, but legit giant-ass gundams.
An SoL a day keeps >tfw no gf away
Need SoLs or whatever else to keep my tṛṣṇā for 3D away. The following are what I've already completed in rough order of effectiveness. And have already seen this: >>202 but it lists only names, not any of their healing factors in treating my disgusting fetish.
>Aria

>Yuru Yuri
>Love Live!
>Hidamari Sketch
>Minami Kamakura Koukou Joshi Jitensha-bu
>k-ON!

Muscle Yuri
Basically I'm a giant faggot who gets off on a reasonable strength/size difference(So no hypermuscle balloon animal levels of musclegrills, or giantess stuff). So, hit me with h-games, comics or videos starring larger, stronger(as in a clear difference in musculature, abs, at most a head or two taller etc) women doing lewd things with weaker women. And hopefully with no lolis because nothing cuter kills my boner quicker
Flip phone emoticons
Ok, VERY specific question and I know it's not exactly a recommendation but I figured this board would be better to post this on than /r/: I'm writing something that takes place sometime around 2010 or so where two Japanese people are texting each other and would like to know what kinds of special characters are/were Japanese flip phones from roughly that time period able to make simply with the options of the keyboards or other programs in the phone without having to copy and paste them from the Internet, specifically characters that make up emoticons? In other words, what can be done just from the keyboard or from within the phone itself? Of course, I know that really anyone anywhere nowadays and even back then can/could do :), :( and the like but there are some more complicated ones I was hoping to throw in for some flair and to spice things up a bit so the conversation doesn't seem repetitive and the same emoticons aren't constantly being used. For example, I'm almost positive that something like the Lenny face would be nearly impossible to do without having to go on the web to copy it from there since I don't imagine the eyes, nose and mouth portion in between the "cheeks" (parentheses, obviously) are readily available to use on the keyboard. Or even better, if there are certain messenger apps/features that came with phones from back then that were capable of more than the regular texting functions, that's fine too. Been using this as a resource to go off of and have been going through the Eastern section in particular for help: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_emoticons. I know I'm autistic as hell but I just want as few anachronisms in the story as possible.
Elf Anime
What is an anime with lots of elves?
Bonus points if the protagonist is an elf or most of the main cast is composed of elves and they're doing elven things.
The only requirement is that it's not CGDCT. Because I want something that's a fantasy, not just moe with a new coat of flavour on it.
Manga on the Seven Seas
I hope this board is the right one for this type of question. I posted on /a/ before but it got removed.
I've recently started reading manga and used nyaa and google to find them so far. Can you help me with good sources. Something like 9anime for manga, preferable for downloading. A lot of older or less known stuff on nyaa isn't seeded anymore and the sites I found via google aren't really well organized and are missing a lot.
17-sai chapters 24-35 (or vol. 3&4)
Hi, I've been trying to get this manga called 17-sai by Kamata Youji in .cbr or .cbz format for the past 5 hours but i've had no luck. I got everything from chapter 1 to 24 from Libgen but I can't for the life of me find 24-35. I do not want to read it online (it's available on most of the big name sites) and I have failed to scrape it from MangaDex using Polite Mangadex Downloader (the .cbz it downloads is just empty) and I can't find any other downloader that works. Can anyone hook me up? I wouldn't ask if I wasn't at my wits end, i've tried everything I know how to do.
Thanks!

Oldies
I noticed that most anime with old graphics and certain atmosphere can be so comfy, I can't find any of the new , ongoing or upcoming anime to be enjoyable at all (for me at least)
Someone please suggest me similar anime to pic related considering graphics style , atmosphere also if possible (pic is from earthian ova)
Japanese Dub of Moomins (1990)
I'm looking for good quality jap dub episodes of Moomins, the 90's ones, where Takehito Koyasu voiced Snufkin. I don't mind raws at all, since I mostly want to re-watch it to exercise my japanese, but as long as the subs are not hard-coded they're cool.
Totsukuni no Shoujo
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Girl_From_the_Other_Side:_Si%C3%BAil,_a_R%C3%BAn
I am looking for this manga! In general I also need to know where to download manga/anime/software because the torrent sites I used 10 years ago are livid useless now. Thank you!
Kawauso Labo / Kansai TV livestream
Since I read this: https://8ch.net/otter/res/63.html I've desperately been trying to find this anime. I've finally been able to watch one episode on a live stream of Tokyo MX, which is a channel on which it is broadcast. Unfortunately I missed today because the internet cafe I frequently visit after work was suddenly closed. Kawauso Labo is however also broadcast on Kansai TV and I've been looking this evening for a way to stream it but I couldn't find a way. The KTV website just shows a YouTube video and no actual livestream of the channel.
If anyone can help me find a way to watch KTV online on my computer, preferably before Kawauso Labo is broadcast, that would be highly appreciated. If anyone knows where I can directly watch Kawauso Labo episodes without having to watch at a specific time, that would be even more highly appreciated. Please, help!
GeGeGe no Kitaro anime series
I recently started to read GeGeGe no Kitaro's manga, and I think it's good, but there are like 3 or more animes, so… In which order should I watch them? Or are they all the same?
I'm asking here because I already searched on Google but I haven't found any info about it.
light novels
Light novels "must reads" recs, please.
I've been reading Maria-sama ga miteru and enjoying it. Thinking about reading Spice and wolf, because the anime adaptation was noice. But it doesn't necessarily needs to be along the lines of these two.
My posts on /a/ were deleted, so I guess I must come here.
Searching for a porn manga
There's a pornographic manga I'm trying to find about a girl who gets ejaculated on by a train molester and discovers that the semen caused small holes to appear on her thigh. Rubbing the holes and putting things inside them feels good and makes them spread. The final scenes consist of the girl apologising to somebody who walks in on her and sees her completely full of holes stuffed with household objects. The art style was a little bit like Junji Ito's. Anyone know the name?
Picture unrelated.
Farmer Milf Hentai
Hey there /rec/, I'm looking for this old hentai chapter that used to be on Fakku before the purge. All I can remember out of it was that:
1. The milf was the step-mother of the MC
2. She was lactating.
3. Near the beginning and the ending, she said "Stingy!" in response to the MC saying no to something she asked.
Pic somewhat related in that I just needed a placeholder image for the thread and it was not in this art style. But she did wore an outfit you would expect to see from a Milf within a farming family.
Best anime from the last ~10 seasons
I'm planning to do a 3 day dry fast next week and I need to pass the time somehow.
I have books and Sekiro but 2 or 3 animes would be nice as well.
I haven't watched any anime from the last 2,5 years except for AoT S3 and Goblin Slayer, I liked both. Back in the day I also enjoyed Kaiji, Welcome to the NHK, Gode Geass, FMA, Gurren Lagann and Texhnolyze. I don't like SoL, school shit and kawaii ugu moe. Harem only, when it's actually funny and the protagonist is a real character like in "yahari ore no blabla" or what it's called.
Is there an anime from the last few seasons you could recommend me based on the stuff I like? Has there been a must-see-anime?
Thank you.
Person travels the land fixing problems
Shield Hero made me like this whole "guy with powers/skill going around fixing people's problems while also not belonging anywhere" deal and I remembered I also really enjoyed Mushishi, the blend of really good music and purdy animation gets me going. Any similar shows?
Need some well animated shows.
Looking for comfy show with really good fight sakuga animation. Some of naurto's fights are so dang good, I just need something else like it. Doesn't need to be shonen, but I like stuff in that sort of genre. I know about OPM, and Mob Psycho already. Also kinda is ideal if the show is also decently written. There was a show called Flame of Recca that had some good animation, but the writing was sort of eh.
Hunt for Cuckchan meme.
Yo, /rec/.
I need to find this Cuckchannel meme. You may have heard of it. All that's known is that it's an animation first seen around 2011, lost to most people around 2015. It's about 9 or so girls, one specifically with a blonde hairstyle however not even that much is certain about it, the story is about them being stuck in a room, most likely a bathroom or similar rooms, after some discussion on how to leave, whether or not they even can, everything goes downhill and they kill each other. To be specific the only confirmed scenes I can give is one girl drowns, and another has her head crushed against the concrete. Very gorey and detailed, like Suehiro Maruo or Hiroshi Harada. If you believe you have seen this before or can find it just based off description and not interpretation you don't need to open the spoilers, and the animation also has no known name so giving you it's epithet that Cuckchan gave it would be useless, however over there it's known as Saki Sanobashi, which is most likely an incorrect title or misinterpretation of it, it is also known as Go For A Punch but neither title have given any results. It's unknown if this came from a manga before being turned into an animation, or if it's even an ova or a short animated student film, or a flash animation, all that's known is the description. I personally believe it to be a flash animation if it does exist but that's why I'm asking here. It may very well just be a creepypasta however unless like said above it's a flash animation or ova, while I've never seen it the description makes the whole thing seem like a metaphor for nihilism through use of realism, violence, and gore to show the human experience which is strange as all gorey anime either are tied to surrealism abstraction or scifi plots and the like. This one seems far too realistic and reliant on gore and theme as a center point to the point of deliberately being made as a creepypasta description, or made by someone who grew up on all other guro anime and made this a passion project however people have said the animation looks very old so that is also falsifiable.
Transtlating a couple of kanji symbols
Hey, it's me, some degenerate fuck. In any case, I just need someone to look through the image in the link and tell me the specific romaji name for every kanji symbol. Every other symbol in there is easy to identify, but kanji symbols are obviously a bit hard to just look up on some chart. I don't need a full translation or anything, I can do that myself.
also *YIFF WARNING*, Sorta.

2010s anime
Since the decade is nearly over, I figured it would be a good time to catch up on some of the classics that I missed out on that aired over the course of the decade this year. Unfortunately most of the lists and charts that I found tend to only focus on series that were made up to 2013. So in general I figured it would be best to make a thread on the topic to compile everything together, albeit I'm making it on /rec/ instead of /a/ because this is nothing more than a spoonfeeding thread.
Pic unrelated.
2006-2009 mecha
I am trying to track down a mecha anime I watched back sometime between 2006 and 2009. I believe it was published/distributed by Amazon and it featured both mecha and to some extent large aircraft/airships, if I recall correctly. It was certainly one of the cliche organic mecha, underpowered/unexpected protagonist who is the only one who can pilot it, etc. From what I recall it was somewhat unique in that the mecha was not all that humonoid in shape. For some reason I thought it was "RahXephon," but it isn't. Any help in tracking down this series would be appreciated.
Manga websites?
I've been reading a lot of manga with mi manga nu, and batoto works great for the mangas it works with aside from the gay registration requirement that you can just use a burner email for. There are other websites on the program but I thought /rec/ would know what to pick.
tl;dr what are the best free manga sites?
What's the most secure way to make a MAL account?
I'd like to start using MAL to keep track of the series I have watched and hopefully stay updated on new releases, but I really don't want to make a gmail or google+ account to do it, especially if I'm going to be posting my profile to flex on other anons. Its within the best interests of every anon to have several degrees of seperation between all of his online presences. Look at /cow/ or kiwifarms if you want to know why.
The reason I'm asking this is because I have tried creating a MAL account with several secure burner emails such as cock.li and tutanota but have had no success with any of them. I'm really hoping something like google mail is not required. If you can help me with this question then thanks.
Completed Manga
Title says it all, recommend me some good or your favorite manga that already completed, doesn't matter if its obscure stuff or mainstream. I'm gonna start off with some of my favorites just from the top of my head
>Mx0
>Angel Densetsu
>Midori Days
>Arcana Soul
>Koharu no Hibi
>Air
>Another
Also, gay shoujo shit and gender bender need not apply
Help me find an obscure anime
I need help finding an old feature-length anime that I can't find no matter how much I try. I watched it as a kid several times on VHS and if I were to guess I'd say it's from the mid 80's. A couple of things I remember:
>Girl main protagonist
>Somehow gets teleported to a different sci-fi dimension
>Wears a (most likely skimpy) sci-fi armor while there
>Gets born into the sci-fi world via a giant flower
>Has some sort of (probably animal) sidekick
>At one point traverses a great grass field on a sci-fi hoverbike while the sidekick explains to her what's going on in that world
Unfortunately that's about as much as I can remember, sorry it isn't much. Hopefully someone has some idea. Pic obviously unrelated.
Someone help translate
I have been dying to make a cover of this song from the anime "Amon: Apocalypse of Devilman".
As far as I know, theres only a spanish translation, but no english translation.

Anime/Manga about work
What are some good animes/mangas about working and jobs?
I am not talking about animes where a job is just a setting, like Working or Blend S.
I am talking about anime/manga where working/job/economics are the main subject of the anime/manga, like Maoyuu Maou Yuusha, Silver Spoon and Bakuman.
Bonus points if it's a layback and relaxing anime.
Apparently Spice and Wolf is good and on subject, but I have already been spoiled on the ending on a video comparing the anime and the visual novel, so I lost all interest on watching it
Picture most likely not related due to fitting into 'job as setting', but I didn't watch, so I wouldn't know
shonen anime
Mentally ill faggot here. I'm looking for a pre-2008 shonen anime. I've already seen Naruto, Hunter x Hunter, Yu Yu Hakusho, Bleach, Dragon Ball. I'd like a show close to the style of these. These work really well because I can get fully invested in a fantasy world. The abilities characters have, the excitement for what would come next. I just want more of that, it doesn't have to be /a/-approved.
The reason for wanting pre-2008 is because the animation feels childish and mentally draws me out from the escapism no matter how much I watch.
where do i find the raw files for these lol
trying to find a torrent or zip/rar or something of the Nagatoro-san doujin series. are they meant to come in .pdf format or image format? i can't find anything higher than chapter 14 and they're all very obviously heavily compressed second-hand files
Need bread
I need a hi-resolution picture of French bread, preferably from the top down, to put on a daki to replace the right side of pic related, I've browsed Google but I can't find anything that's either not pixelly, doesn't have watermarks/other shit in the shot, or is the wrong angle. What I think would work best is if there was a video game with good bread sprites to stand above and screencap, but I don't have a good pc and thus don't have any games.
Tl;dr, I need your best breads, friends
Anime recomendations
I'm looking for a new Anime series to watch. Call me a pleb, but I like the mainstream gems like FullMetal Alchemist, Death Note, Psycho Pass, Attack on titan ect. I tried watching classics like Cowboy Bebop and Evangelion, but they weren't a good replacement, and I lost interest pretty quickly. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good plot heavy anime, with interesting world concepts.
Normalfag anime recommendation
Trying to find an anime to watch with a normalfag friend of mine. She really liked Shingeki no Kyojin, Shokugeki no Soma (because she's into cooking and liked all the funny bickering and shit), strangely she loved Prison School because she though it was so funny that it didn't matter that it had all the openly shown vagina lips thrown in your face.
Of course being the normalfag she is she loved Death Note. She also liked Erased and Monster. I think for some reason she didn't like Kaiji.
I'm mostly looking for something comedic and light hearted, but anything that catches her attention would work.
Cant find it
I need to find a short Hentai Doujin about a Girl who purchased an Alien-Egg like Sextoy. She waits awhile infront of it to open up and gets suddenly attacked by Tentacles or a Facehugger (not sure anymore), which are fucking the living shit out of her. Later she purchased another Egg with spikes on it.
I really need it right now

Anime
ITT: Yuri Recommendations
Recommend me, Yuri and the reason.
And if you wish, add experience data, that is, if you have been watching anime or manga for a while, you can say something like this:
> If you have a month, a year, two or a decade watching anime I recommend this
For example:
I recommend Citrus for those who take from one day to two years watching anime and reading manga.
I recommend Octave for those who have a little more than 3 years of experience.
And I recommend Yagate Kimi ni Naru and Ano Ko or Kiss to Shirayuri wo for those who have 7 years of experience.
Morbid or horror animes
I don't think anime can do horror well. I think the genre leads it's self away from horror because of the animation style. The bright hair and large eyes just clash with horror as a theme.
I would like to be proven wrong so can any one recommend me some morbid or horror animes? It can be any sort of horror from body horror to mind fuck. Jump scares don't count and it needs to be more than 1 scene (i.e. Evangelion has a creepy scene when 01 goes berserk the second time but isn't scary)
If it's a mind fuck don't explain what the mind fuck is, just give a first episode summary.
Looking for a specific loli doujin
I'm looking for a loli doujin. I couldn't find it through tags but I know the plot.
>Man is at a park
>He finds 3 girls behind a bush looking at a
porn magazine
>2 of the 3 runaway and one stays.
>He takes her to the bathroom and cleans her up
>They start to fuck and he notices she has a rape fetish
>They both leave the stall, and finds that the 2 girls that ran came back
>They ask if he can do what he did to their friend. Ends.
[Request] My Very Own Lith cheat version
/f/ is practically a dead board save for one or two threads but I just wanted to know if anyone on /req/ knew where to find the newest deluxe plus version out right now but /req/ is not active and /rec/ says
>Anime, manga, vidya, novels, you name it
so I suppose this is ok. I always forget how great a board this is.
Oceanic feeling
This is probably at least 60% of anime ever, but what are some that are really, really all about (or at least have strong ties with) the coastal life, the ocean, nautical themes, and so forth? Preferrably SoL or at least comfy for the most part. A great example for this /rec/ would be Aria, a good one Love Live! Sunshine!!, and a decent one would be Minami Kamakura Koukou Joshi Jitensha-bu.
Looking for a specific manga
Can someone help me, I've been searching for a manga for so long now, yet I can't seem to find it. The story seems to take place in the mid 70s, the protagonist is a young boy, obsessed with robots. One day, his dad gets home angry, saying that they've got robots at the place he works. The protag imagines mazinger Z standing by the assembly line, but get shocked like crazy, seeing assembly line robots like pictured. There was also some stuff about how the assembly robots were actually conscious, hints about the protag being romantically interested in a girl from class, I think I also remember reading about the series on baka-updates, how the protag and the girl ends up having a robot baby. The artstyle was really bleak looking, using a lot of shadows and most of the backgrounds being completely black. Anyone know what series I am talking about?
Help Please
There was a doujin I fapped to on exhentai a long time ago where it was a generic school setting and the main girl resembled asuka from evangelion, but it wasn't evangelion. I remember it being quite long. Does anyone know anything that meets these criteria? Thanks.
Help me, dear god please help me
I want to find a very specific doujin. Except, that's not quite right, because I've already found the doujin. I know the artist, the japanese title, and pic is of the cover. Problem is, I can't find the scans fucking anywhere. But I KNOW I read it online, fully translated, a couple years back. I've spent more time than I'd like to admit looking for the damn thing, so if you have any leads that could give me some closure I'd be very happy. For the record, the Japanese title is 里中千枝ちゃんのスノースマイル
I am looking for a very specific type of anime.
It's about the Protagonist and some kind of monster having a conflict with each other.
This conflict cannot just be solved in a single episode or season btw.
It should be the primary theme of the Anime.
The monster shouldn't be too humanized and in his human form most of the time. (if he even has one) It should be a monster in the truest sense of the word. I had a dream about something like that and am now looking for anime for inspiration.
/fit/ anime
What are some anime with /fit/ protagonists?
Doesnt matter what kind, harem, comedy, school-shit etc nor if it's bodybuilder-tier muscular or just moderately toned as long as they are sort of /fit/.
I've been watching Shadow Skill and it's okay, not great but man there really should be more animoos with muscular toned chicks especially as protags, usually they alongside male leads are just delegated into side characters which sucks!
Loli Doujin
Looking for a loli doujin for someone else, but all I have to go by is this description.
>It was about loli cosplaying as advert for some shop and shop owner had a camera in the toilet.
>It was translated, no clue about length. It's a one-shot but whether it came from some bigger collection is unknown because it was years ago on Pururin and they had no good rules for such stuff.
>Oh for what it's worth I think there was fake beach scene with sex and swimsuit. by fake I mean it was like some kind of studio or something, I don't know.
Sadodere thread
Will anyone recommend me animes/mangas with sadodere?
>What?
oneesama-kotoba
~ara
end sentences with ~kashira
not exactly himedere or kamidere but must lean on the "sadist" part
occasional sexual harassment or teasing the MC
very assertive, smug, with the right amount of craziness
usually seen as flat chested with frills and gothic clothing 'looks like doll' and wears very sexy and bold undergarments
>Katja from Seikon no Kwaser
>Leen from Isekai Smartphone
>Kurumi from DAL
bonus for lolis.
Mo~tto! Ojamajo Doremi TORRENT
I'm currently trying to download everything of Ojamajo Doremi and I've got pretty much everything except Mo~tto! Ojamajo Doremi aka S3.
The only complete torrent I was able to find is [WinxBloom1980] Mo~tto! Ojamajo Doremi [RAW-720p] on Nyaa si. Sadly, I'm getting an "Coudn'T open: Invalid torrent file" error when trying to dowload it. I've never got this error before and no solution I found online seems to work.
Does anybody know a workaround for this?
Western tones series
I was going to ask for something similar to Bioshock Infinite, but that fealt like too broad of a request, and that I would have probably received everything under the sun even slightly related. So, instead, I want to phrase it like this: what series exist out there that have a noticeable Western vibe to it?
AFAIK, Gate is a good example of this because of how much it feels like the author was inspired by the Stargate series.
Seems like Midnight Crew Subs blog was deleted.
Where the fuck can I get my Kamen Rider Kuuga subs now? They left at ep 30, can I get the rest somewhere else?
https://www.blogger.com/blogin.g?blogspotURL=http://midnightcrewsubs.blogspot.com/
Harems
What are some harems where the protag actually picks a girl at the end instead of leaving it open?
Preferably the kind where the main guy isn't a huge pussy though…
I've allways disliked harems but i cant deny there aren't some ge… "okay" ones in the mix like Hundred which wasn't that bad, mediocre but atleast it ended with some closure which is more than can be said about most.
Lets talk manga readers.
I have a tablet i carry around so I've been using Tachiyomi for this, since it lets me browse several sites, download copies to read offline and updates them automatically. Plus, it gives me a really decent catalog to organize stuff.
I'm looking for recommendations in case there's anything better.
Also, I have a list of sources for that app, but I'm not sure what to use consistently since of them have failed me before.
How reliable are these?
Batoto, Kissmanga, Mangafox, Mangasee, MangaHere, ReadMangaToday.
Some of then take way longer to update if at all, others seem to have skipped chapters or have really low quality scans.
What do you guys use?
For some reason I really need to watch Higurashi season 1 in 720p. I had a copy once but ai lost it. Does anyone know any way for me to watch it in that resolution? I have looked far and yon, but had no luck. Hell, I would probably buy it if I could find it for a really good price.
Kind of a weird thread I suppose, but here goes. I'm having trouble watching anime about teenagers or High School (so 95% of anime) since my teenage/high school years were so shit. I get very jealous of the characters experiencing young love, going on adventures and all that since that's something I completely missed. Any tips on how to deal with this?
Looking for a dark, moody, medieval/fantasy show.
That ISN'T Berzerk, lol.
Most fantasy anime I hear of are all along the lines of Sword Art Online, Konosuba, Overlord, etc.. very high magic, colorful, full of weird creatures and silly plots. I can't seem to find something on the more realistic side of things, while still taking place in a fantasy world, as opposed to being straight up historical fiction.
Know of any that broadly fit that description, o' weebs?
I have a question for /rec/ about yandere. Are all yandere characters violent? I'm looking for an anime that features a girl who is "crazy" in love, super devoted and all that, but not psychopathic. Just clingy and obsessive. Would the term yandere still apply, or is there some other word for that trope?
Any anime/mango recommendations would be appreciated.
What are animes devoid of characters? Most notably side/minor-characters and faceless npcs?
Just watched Girls' Last Tour and it was neat, reminded me of Yokohama kaidashi though it had hell of a lot more but the same sort of feeling still applied, mostly just a few characters going on in a pretty empty world and shit like that.
I'm trying to remember the name of a manga that I read some time ago, but I can't recall it.
It was a Sci-Fi manga about really powerful aliens invading the solar system and humanity fighting a losing battle. It took only 20 aliens to destroy the Earth, and they did it in a shonen-style physical beatdown. The aliens themselves were weird and relied on a ship to support themselves in. The ship was nigh-indestructable though, so humans had to infiltrate it in the inside. However, the problem was that the aliens eventually started to mimic human forms, complete with the memories and personalities of the victims that were brought inside. In addition, the aliens were called the "white ghana," or something similar.
Help me remember some anime
I used to get up in the middle of the night and catch the tail end of some anime battles that had this spinning glow pellet tracer/bullet effect from the guns (pic related is kind of what it's like) and I have a desire to see it again. Can you help me?
I think two of the places I saw it was once in some kind of mecha anime, and again in an episode of dragonball, but I don't know which season/series (z?).
I'm looking for Manga with cute male character and masculine woman character. I'd prefer if the woman character isn't the moe blob.
Also i stopped watching Freezing because of the really dark cuckolding part where the love interest was being used by the rich man, how bad is it when he visits the school?
Angel Cop unedited
Does anybody know where I can find Angel Cop with the unedited fansub? The whole OVA's up on archive.org in dual-audio, which is cool since I like the cheesy english voice acting with loads of unnecessary cursing. However, I'm really interested in watching it with unedited subs, you know, the ones about the Jews. However, for (((some reason))) they are INCREDIBLY hard to find. If anybody can help me out I'd appreciate it.
HIDEAKI ANNO HAS TETHERED CORD SYNDROME AND EHLERS-DANLOS SYNDROME
GUYS, I know you probably don't know what either of those conditions. Feel free to look 'em up.
All I need is for you to somehow
GET THIS INFORMATION TO ANNO BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY
The man is in extreme pain and depression and THIS IS WHY. I know because I went through it for 25 years and I can see when somebody has this. ANNO has been through probably worse for 57 years. I say that because this is something that is present from BIRTH. It can cause parts of your brain to be starved of various… everything.
Help us both. Please.
Anyone have an edit of this song where the displayed 'meals' are gross things? I remember this from an old ,swf a decade ago from 4chan. In the first cut the image was a dog's head sticking out of a pot and in the second the image was a strange-looking pizza. It might have been the other ordering though.
Give me some rocking anime that get you hyped for the battles and shit. Just finished boku no hero academy and loved that shit and also part 1-2 of jojo. Specifically I'm looking for anime with hand to hand combat without that magic shit like jojo part 3-6 has. Maybe with the mc having over powered powers too whether or not they can control them or not.
Comedy
Could you recommend me series similar to Seitokai Yakuindomo, Daily Lives of High School Boys and Aho Girl? I guess I essentially ask for good 4koma adaptations. Not necessarily set in a high school, but it's anime, so most of it is set in a high school anyway.
On a related note, are there subs for the SYK film and the two latest OVAs? I can't seem to find them.
Looking for MMD Model
Apologies if this isn't quite the right place; having hell of a time finding one that it fits under.
And for that matter; having a hell of a time tracking down this model, know it's Prinz Eugen from Kantai Collection but can't figure out at all where to find the model.
Assuming somewhat that it's one of the JJedited Prinz models with different outfits; but no luck finding them either.
Video with timestamp of particular outfit/model:

PDF reader.
What's a good PDF reader for windows?
I want something that preferrably has a fullscreen mode without any toolbars or scrollbars (for instance the built in firefox reader can't avoid this) and preferrably has an option for a black background (firefox reader can't do this either).
I've been using CDisplayEx which works good for everything except PDFs. It'll attach garbage to the bottom/top of pages, fail to render some pages, tell me the pdf has more pages than it really does and then those extra pages are broken, I've also had this really gay issue where some pages are displayed sideways, specially if the page is wider than it is taller. It even randomly repeated a page once.
Which Kizumonogatari sub is best
I may have made a terrible mistake posting this on /a/ but its too late now.
I plan on doing a hard sub webm encode of Kizumonogatari, however I don't know enough about the subber groups or who made the best sub. I'm great at making webms and I can hunt down the torrents myself but I was hoping you guys would give me some advice on which group I should use.
I have a vague recollection of some manga where the high(?) school attending main character unwittingly coordinates mideast (((revolutions))) via a smartphone app disguised as a strategy game, then gets offered to join the organization behind said app at the end of the first chapter.
Anyone know what it was called?
I have only read 1/2 of one manga in my life and now I wish to read a certain manga. Shura No Mon. The anime Shura No Toki is a personal favorite of mine, but I want to read the manga now. I have a torrent on Nyaa Pantsu going…but in case the single seed never comes back online and gibs me dat–can anyone here give me another source?
Please help me find a sadpanda doujin
Hey all.
I'm trying to find a doujin I saw on sadpanda some time ago. It was an one-shot, relatively short. The story was basically this: A guy is a NEET who lives in an apartment, and he run out of money so he's literally starving and faints in front of his apartment. A girl, his next door neighbor or something, notices him and takes him to her apartment to recover. Turns out, she's his ex-girlfriend. They start talking and it turns out she's in a relationship now. Her partner comes home and turns out it's a (boyish looking) girl. They have a conversation and it turns out the tomboy has never been with a guy, so her girlfriend forces her to have sex with the guy (threesome?). It ends with all three of them sharing a meal in the apartment and tomboy complaining about why is the guy still there.
It was nothing special, pretty forgettable, I just can't get it out of my head because I'm 100% sure I saw it at some point and wanted to find it again but never could, so now I just want to find it so I can find it. If anyone here remembers it, or is smarter at looking at tags than me, please share it. Thank you.
I am about to finish the original Hokuto no Ken and I need some anime recommendations to fill that void in my life.
Stuff I've watched
>GiTS
>Persona 4 Golden
>Sket dance
>Jojo
>Cowboy Bebop
I would love anything that is good and finished but not stuff that is up its own ass with pretentiousness.
Also somewhat unrelated but does anyone know where you can get a complete collection of all Kochikame manga and anime?
Animuu to watch with my imouto
My 13-year old imoutou wants to watch anime with me. We watched gurren lagan, kill la kill (though she doesn't really like fan service heavy anime), fate staynight and zero, jojo, hero academia. Comedy shonens are basically our go to. She can handle heavier stories, although I would be reluctant to watch something like ghost in the shell because of the slower pacing. I've been considering getting her to watch prisma illya up to the last season so we can watch together. Any suggestions?
Where do I get anime torrents?
I know of batabt, animebytes, and nyaa, but I've never been able to use/register on. I was able to create an account on animetorrents but it claims my login info is wrong. So I tried to re-register but that has been disabled.
Can you help a poor weeb out and point me in some direction?
A while ago, someone posted about an anime adaptation of a manga or visual novel about a girl who screams "YEEEEERT" when she attacks. I didn't believe it at first, but he posted a webm, and sure enough, the girl screamed "YEEEEERT" multiple times while punching people in the gut. Ever since then, I've been looking for it, but I can't find information about it anywhere.
The premise is something like this: a girl in a crime-filled town gets superpowers and decides to become a vigilante. At night she patrols through her city, punching thugs while screaming her trademark catchphrase "YEEEEERT". I swear this is real, the memory of that webm is burned into my mind.
Whenever I try doing a google search for YEEEEERT or YERRRRRT or anything else that looks remotely like her catchphrase, I only get search results for "yeet", which is really annoying.
I won't be able to rest until I've found the name of this show. I don't know if it was an OVA or an actual series, but I do remember the guy said that it was an adaptation of a manga or novel, or something.
Anyone know what I'm talking about?
GATE clones
plot has to be about modern day humans invading medieval or even less advanced civilizations, doesn't matter if fantasy or not
ideally as a light novel, but animes work too
at this point i'm even reading shit from reddit because i just can't find anything that doesn't inevitably turn into a harem
Looking for an image or video
When the last episode of KlK came out someone made either an image or a video (I honestly don't remember which but I think there was a webm) comparing the ending to Sonic Adventure's 2 ending, like this image with SA2 and LWA. Anyone got that image/video? I can't find it anywhere.
I haven't watched any anime from 2012-2017
I only started watching again anime this year. What anime from this 5 year period would you recommend that I could have missed because I wasn't following anything?
Also what anime season from that period is the best/worst, in your opinion?
Where can I download butt-tons of old animu classics? I'm a poorfag and want to stock up as much as possible before they end net-neutrality next month. I tried Nyaa.se and got a message saying the website didn't exist and BakaBT wanted me to login but gave me no option to sign up. Help?
I'm looking for hentai doujins, visual novels or weeb games with a rapist protagonist, but in a more light hearted tone with the main protagonist actually caring for the girls he fucks as well as taking care of them, going into relationship with them and so on and so forth.
Basically I want something with lots and lots of maledom, some stockholm syndrome but without the actual realistic or non-realistic consequences of rape.
Stuff with rape just as a facade or universes where everyone rapes each other so it's either rape or be raped are fine too.
Shows that were surprisingly good? for me, Space Dandy broke my apathy towards anime. I had been struggling to find something with the breakneck pacing of a show like Kill la Kill, but with the funky allure of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. For me, Space Dandy is just what anime SHOULD be. Fun, funky, and quick.
Download Thread
Thread for requesting torrents/mega/download links for weeb shit.
I couldn't think of a good name, sorry
Starting out, does anyone have a good torrent for Ergo Proxy and Onegai Sensei?
I've got one with seeds for Ergo Proxy, but it's literally going at 2kb/s right now. I've had the torrent for over 2 months and it's only now finishing the second episode.
I wasn't so lucky with Onegai Sensei, it didn't even download the metadata.
Animu and mango where the MC has a healthy sex life
Hi /rec/. I'm looking for some series in which the MC is not a complete kissless virgin who is afraid to make any moves on any of the ten girls who are literally begging for his dick. Relationships don't even need to be the focus of the story and the MC doesn't have to be a complete Chad, I'm just sick of being cucked out of any meaningful developments between the characters.
I generally like action, adventure, slice of life, comedy, that sort of thing. A harem that actually gets interesting with a bit of drama and romance would be refreshing, but would probably need at least one of the other genres I mentioned to maintain my interest.
BDs versus TV
Is there a website out there that catalogs changes between broadcast and BD versions of shows, either in terms of censorship or just general quality?
I think it would be useful to be able to look up whether, how much, and in what way a given series was changed.
Anime + Cyberspace Vaporwave Request
Hello /rec/. I'm working on a short essay about internet culture, and now I need a image for it, with these elements:
1. Anime, preferably post-2007 moe style for immediate recognition, if there are none, older 80s, 90s and 00s are okay too.
2. Psychedelic and/or glitches art.
3. Cyberpunk, not talking about the Windows 95 aesthetics, I mean, mostly the presence of the cyberspace, like the common "grid coordinate in an alternative universe" art depiction existed since Neuromancer.
4. No dank memes, no pepe, no politicians, and no Greek and Roman statues. Well, can be
ignored if all other elements are perfectly presented in the image.
I know vaporwave perfectly fits the theme and I’ve looked through several, this image is currently the best one I’ve found. Any ideas?
I'm having a hard time finding some new mangoo to read, can you give me a recommendation based on my shit tastes? Shit I like is:
Giant Killing
Saint Young Men
Tobaku [whatever series FKMT is making] Kaiji
Watamote
Sakamoto Desu ga?
Shiori Experience
Homunculus
Jojo's Bizarre Adventure (especially part 2 and 7)
OPM (the one by ONE to be honest)
Saikyou Densetsu Kurosawa (fuck NEW)
Ore Monogatari
Adolf ni Tsugu
Pluto
Even a monkey can draw manga
(Whenever I find some badly scanned Warau Salesman I get to read some I guess)
Tohai Densetsu Akagi
Kuragehime
Franken Fran
Angel Densetsu
Probably some more but they must have been rather forgettable, also I don't really like traditional SoL styled literature but I'd be down for something a bit more different.
My dad is interested in getting into some anime, and I'd like to expose him to good, high quality anime with great story and production, great characters and all that.
No nudity or lewd stuff, no edgy or hyperactive stuff, no cutesie stuff or comedy or slice of life, please. My dad has an open mind but this is my one shot at exposing him to a new medium and to show him what it has to offer to him.
So far what I think would be good to show him is Akira, Grave of the Fireflies, Jin-Roh: The Wolf Bridage, Memories and Ping Pong The Animation. I considered including Angel's Egg to the list but I think that's too artsie and slow for his tastes, I'm not sure.
Is there anything else /rec/ thinks would be good to share with my dad? Thank you! I'll answer any questions about him I'm able to if it would help to receive good recommendations.
Looking for old gold.
I'm looking for old manga/anime that came about before those japs started filled them with some many clitches, that it became inescapable. I want something before anime became the shit it is today.
I'll give you an example of a manga that story wise, is more like 1950s scifi novel than manga.
The Way of Ryu
Ryu having just woken up from a sleep capsule inside a space ship. To find himself the sole survivor of an expedition, the spaceship having crash landed on a grossly mutated and wholly unfamiliar Earth. Joining forces with fellow survivors from a different crash, Ryu and his comrades fight to survive on this new and deadly Earth as they search for any humans that might've made it through the mysterious apocalypse.
Booru browser extension
There was an extension I used to run in my browser to avoid the nauseating ads on Gelbooru, and I want to find it again but I can't remember the name.
It was a very minimalist interface, with a panel in the top right letting you enter search terms, tick what ratings to show, how many images to show per page, and what page to go to. It was completely unadorned, simply black text on white background. Clicking an image thumbnail took you straight to the image itself, like clicking "download image" in the default interface.
I do remember that when you made a new search or changed search page, it only affected the interface, with the address still being simply gelbooru.com and the different searches not counting in your history.
I've checked a few different sites, searching for booru-related scripts on github and the repositories linked by Tampermonkey and Greasemonkey, but I con't find anything that sounds like what I remember.
Anyone know what it might be?
How does one get into Touhou? Where does one even start? Is it good?
I looked into it a while back and nope'd after seeing how many titles there are and how extensive the lore is.
It seems to me that all the cool oldfag /a/nons are 2hu fags and I ought to get my act together.
Looking for good torrents
Haven't been on a chan in a good long while, figured this is the place to make requests.
Basically, looking for torrents of Evangelion Death & Rebirth, End of Evangelion, and Rebuild movies.
AniDex has good torrents for the original series (including the DC versions of 21 - 24), but doesn't have a good torrent for same formatted Rebuild movies, and has no torrents for Death and Rebirth or End of Eva.
Mangos with practical, resourceful MCs
Looking for recommendations on realistic fantasy/adventure mangos wherein the MC is a practical, resourceful man who more or less knows what he's doing - instead of some wimply Lvl 1 kid who's shocked about everything that happens and learning the most basic of basics as he goes.
I want to see someone who gets shit done, not someone who flails or power-ups their way to success every time. They don't have to be a fighter specifically, a survivalist or something would be entertaining too. No OP superhuman bullshit though.
Bonus points: includes a romance side-plot that actually progresses.
Guts is pretty much the main example I can think of and we all know how unsatisfying that ride is. Maybe Chilhack from Dungeon Meshi could be another example? He's kind of a side character though.
WORST Manga
As in the manga called Worst
Just finished Crows but Worst is one of the first mangas I read and I have fond memories of it.
The problem is that all of the manga sites that I know of have taken it down
Can anyone point me to a site which still has it up?
Thanks in advance
Can anyone recommend anime where nips are turbonormies when it comes to computing?
https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/answerman/2016-05-23/.102406
I want something like Dungeon Meshi and Goblin slayer. I would like it if its complete or just really far already.
I know that the MC will probably always never die but the problem with some of these is that I feel plans always go their way many times or characters tend to always stick around because of plot armor. I really like the thick of these stories how goblins need to be killed and why, why he must do what he must etc. Im not asking for where characters need must always be on the verge of death or always suffering like in Berserk or Gantz. But idk I feel like the current arc part of goblin slayer where he is fighting that leader goblin, yeah we see the deaths of newbies and what not, and we also got a little background of them and then why they were ambushed and killed which was great! but the raid on the farm, it feels like it went way too well according to plan, granted I know why and it probably should have gone according to plan because of his depth and knowledge in it, along with the amount of adventurers he has with them. But to me it was just going too good, I just liked it a bit more earlier when things went too well, I mean we didnt see any of the silver ranks even get hurt despite that guts look alike were match with that champion. Well whatever I talked to much. Any recommendations?
Winter Anime
What are some good ol' chink cartoons that take place in the snowy wintertime?
Preferably for at least half of the show; full shows that happen to have a Christmas or New Years episode don't count (movies and standalone OVAs with Christmas/New Years themes are allowed though, like Tokyo Godfathers and Itsudatte my Santa).
So I'm really looking hard for creditless anime openings and I found this torrent: http://rutracker.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4535707 It's actually not that bad, the problem is that sometimes the quality is not that good and the resolution is mostly less than 720p. Enjoy the torrent if you want.
Problem is that I'm still looking for better, and in all torrent anime pages since the downfall of Nyaa.se have dead torrents with these openings. I'm asking for something with good quality and resolution, creditless is optional but it'd be nice. I'm looking for and no bully mostly about One Piece and Bleach.
anime gif
back in 2009 when i was 12 or so i remember watching an anime/gore gif,if i remember correctly there were 2 girls walking down a hall and something sharp hit the face of one of them horizontally cutting her head, her top half of the head was smashed against a wall with her creepy dilated eyes looking directly at the screen and her tongue still in her jaw was like hanging i think. that was the first gore thing i accidentally stumbled upon, i didn't mind it too much but every now and then i remember that useless piece of memory and i really want to find it again
Looking for a certain horror manga
If any of you are familiar with horror comics, would you happen to know of this one horror guy who does these little short stories that often feature pregnant women dying horribly for some reason? Also there was one comic in particular where a corpse girl came to life out of a desire to love a prince, but the prince exorcised her by revealing he was gay and thus destroying her last shred of hope that they would be together. There's also another one where its some alternate timeline where humans grow babies to be used as food (baby food get it) but it slowly turns more batshit as time goes by. I can't remember the name of the author or his series (or rather the name for his compliation of stories) and its driving me up the fucking wall.
And no its not Ito. There's a definite difference between the two artists in terms of style. This guy usually does shorter stories, and the horror is more surreal and nonsensical, which is saying something considering how Junji operates.

Musclewizards
I'm looking for animes where the main characters are big burly manly men who use superior strength and preferably wrestling moves to beat people instead of magic or swords or whatever.
Basically I want an anime where Sig Curtis is the main character. Preferably with hot chicks who get flustered over the MC.
Is Kara no Kyoukai any good?
Randomly stumbled onto the OST and promptly fell in love with it. From I can gather this thing actually stretches across multiple movies, so before I spent the next dozen hours watching yet another Magical Attack Schoolgirl series, I thought I might as well ask here.
lewd lovers
Is their anymore youtubers like this guy. just fucking ecchied out. and lewd shit everywhere. he really fucking reminds me of Lawrence from funhaus. like completely. If he was a super weeaboo.
I would love to see more people like him. with lewd shit everywhere. maybe not a hyper anime lol XD type of youtuber. thanks in advance
I NEED AN ANIME
And by that I mean hose that avoid (as much as possible) the worst anime tropes and weaboo bait.
Recommend me an anime that has:
- little to no lolis
- no harem bullshit
- as little fanservice as possible
- no cutsie/strange talking pets/robots
- no power of friendship bullshit
Anime I liked (for reference) Beebop, Trigun, BnHA, GitS, 5cm Per Second, Steins Gate, Orgiginal MAcross, City Hunter, Code Geass, Darker than Black, Durarara, Time of Eve, Fate Zero, LOGH, Gintama, Planetes, GTO, Jin-Roh, Maria the virgin Witch, Berserk, Monser, Palabour, Welcome ot NHK, Excel Saga, Nichijou, Spice and Wolf, Cromartie High, VOTOMS, Tiger and Bunny, Tokyo Godfathers, Usagi Drop, Zipang
Honorable mentions to Ika Masamune, Escaflowne, Starship Operators, UBW, Saint Seiya (original), Tytania
A few of the Gundams (Igloo, 08th, 079, etc. were good), others are trash. Tried the original, but the very first episode had me rolling my eyes (kids with a manual falls into cockpit).
Moe blobs versions of the veiw.
I just really love listening to adorable beautiful women of various body types (including the oppai character) simply talking about cute stuff, it's so pleasant.
Are there any modern versions of this, i seriously think i've covered nearly all well known moe versions of the view, except K-on since it doesn't seem like relaxed talking.
Ichigo Ichihachi...
…Is a manga series written by Yu Aida, who also authored the Gunslinger Girl series.
I've been trying to find out more about Ichigo Ichihachi because I like Yu Aida, but I can't seem to find much of anything besides a little info on bakaupdates and Yu's twitter.
I don't think it's been translated yet so does anyone know where I could find some raws of it?
Where the heck do you get "retro" anime downloads when the few torrents on nyaa, shana, et al are either dead or slow as fuck? Fantasyanime has a small selection and bakabt went private so fuck that. I really don't want to settle for streaming from youtube or kissanime and besides they don't have everything.
Obscure Music-Themed anime
Hello /a/, stranger looking for some help here. My family was talking about a show we taped off of tv when I was little. Everyone remembers what it was about, but can't seem to find it.
It was a late 80's/early 90's movie-length affair about a boy who was in a music school of some sort. He hates having to play piano and one evening while walking home from a class he falls down a hole or something into darkness. The only other stuff I remember is that there were literal music notes that were antagonizing him (may have been a little trippy). Gif not related.
Any Ideas?
Great torrenting sites/ Nana request
I've searched wide and far have employed a number of tactics but it seems I've still come up with nothing
I'm looking for nana Dub 1-48 torrent
The ones I've found no one is seeding any ideas guys? Any suggestions where to look?
I'm aware you can stream them over on on kissa nime but I'm looking to watch them offline
I'm not looking for an anime, but rather, a youtuber who used to analyse anime. He did quite a few videos on Neon Genesis Evangelion, including one titled "Understanding Evangelion" and an analysis on Asuka. He also did a review on Angel's Egg at some point and a top ten list which included Texhnolyze on it. I've tried looking him up on youtube and Google, but both proved fruitless.
Other particular elements from his videos included his obese cat (I believe it was orange), and he would drink coffee/tea.
I forgot the title of a manga
Was hoping anyone would know it, it's about a female music club president dating her kouhai.
It was light and fluffy, the artstyle was fairly cute. From what I recall there weren't many chapters translated, I think I saw it on /a/s manga thread almost a year ago, though it could have been from elsewhere. I doubt it's actively getting translated, but I'd still really like to read what was there again.
Anime without the Nip
Give me
>No bowling ball eyes
>No cardboard cutout mode when expressing emotion
>No screaming everything that they're about to do
>No egregious/out of place boob/panty shots
>No social retardation that would never fly in real life
>No miraculous Mary Sue powers
Self-awareness/irony does make any of the above ok.
Examples include:
Seirei no Moribito
Monster
Tokyo Ghoul (season 1)
One Punch Man
Attack on Titan
Cowboy Bebop
I legitimately watch it for the story
As far as I know, this drawing belongs to a deleted scene from the Virtua Fighter anime series. There's zero information about it on the net, but time ago I saw it being auctioned as an official frame from the Virtua Fighter anime. This surprised me, because I watched the entire series and I never saw a scene like this. Maybe it was included in the original Japanese version but deleted in the Western dub? Maybe the original Japanese version didn't use it either? I was going to send it to Censored Gaming as an idea for an upcoming video, but first I would appreciate if someone could shed some light on the subject. Thanks in advance.
Gore Manga Sauce Thread
Identiy The Image, Gratitudes
Veteran Thread, specifying with hard task of providing sauce to the horror Manga, Anime, RPG and LN, since horror being subjective in western media, any of good manga which has a little blood to some high quality gore, being extreme such as SNK to Berserk is simply considered a Horror, which is not case here however.
What is the Horror? genere aimed to scare audience, hence nothing more nothing less good example is a book or two by Junji Ito sensei, or any other similar respectable author who aimed to make us shiver.
Fansub General
Would anons be willing to share their knowledge and experience on the various fansubbing groups out there?
I've usually saved fansubs exclusively for my favorite shows, while everything else gets the HS treatment out of convenience. Recently, however, I've started thinking that I should steer away from this mode of operation and focus on finding some quality alternatives for seasonal shit.
Which ones are known for top quality releases? Which ones should we steer clear of? Are "reviews" of fansubs reliable (I've read a few of these before to help me decide which torrent to download.)?
Any information is appreciated. Perhaps we can make an info-graphic or something, I saw nothing about this subject on the /a/ wiki.
A.D. Police
I can't find a seeded torrent for A.D. Policey ova, bakabt is down, and nyaa only has dead torrents https://nyaa.si/?f=0&c=0_0&q=a.d.+police
a flat chest who lusts after a cow chest.
I must acquire an anime that has a boobs character and a loli character (she doesn't have to be underage, just flat), and the loli-type character lusts after the boobs character.
I get that it will be difficult to find an anime only about this, but at least have it be pretty common, like at least 5 times through out the whole series.
And this is not to be confused with the flat characters who log after having big breasts, rather that they are sexually attracted to the big breasts.
I already know about A-channel, Kiniro Mosaic which would have been the perfect answers to my longing for luckystar.
I am looking for a (hentai?) where there is a girl who looks like 1st pic-related a little bit but sort of different.
She talks about taking over the school and laughs a little but regains her composure and then moves on to another room.
There she finds her two henchmen (like a blue hair and a pink haired version of 2nd pic-related) fucking each other. Blond Nazi shoots a gun at their feet, they say some stuff Blondie doesn't like and she shoots at their feet again.
The animation looks like it was from the 80s or second-half of 70s
Some details may be off but the description is mostly intact
Majikoi S and the fandisks
An anon on /v/ bullied me into playing this game. Three days later and I'm on the final route of the first game; I want more. Sadly, my googlefu sucks donkey cock and while there are replacements for the terminally dead nyaa none of them have the torrents. Anyone got links to help this idiot out please? I've managed to grab translation patches for Majikoi S and the fandisks, I just need the bloody things themselves.
Epic anime
Felt like there isn't a lot of anime that can give you goosebumps. I'm looking for something that can be breathtaking and give some adrenaline rush. So far the two best that I've watched in terms of "epic" battles is Hellsing Ultimate, Fate/Zero and Attack on Titan
Are there any more? Preferably not with Mecha
So, I just finished the first season of Drifters and I'm looking for something similar. Not exactly looking for historical figures or anything, I'm more into the classic/generic(as some might say) fantasy world with elves/dwarves/goblins/dragons, etc. I also really enjoyed war/tactical aspect. Any fantasy anime out there that involves wars/battles between factions with charismatic tacticians at the helm? I've seen the fantasy chart from the chart thread, do any of those come close to matching what I'm looking for?
Badboy meets nice girl anime/manga?
Just finished PS3P, and the whole thing with Shinji got me interested in the dynamic of the nice-girl-meets-the-bad-boy thing. Ideally an actual fighter/delinquent, not just the playboy.
I have absolutely no idea where to start; I don't even know what search terms to try.
Mythology Anime
I'm looking for some anime where gods from various polytheistic mythologies/religions play a role as characters in the plot.
Not just the Shinto Pantheon, but from the Aboriginal, Arabian, Armenian, Aztec, Canaanite, Celtic, Chinese, Egyptian, Finnish, Greek, Guarani, Hindu, Incan, Inuit, Mayan, Mesopotamian, Norse, Philippine, Roman, Slavic, Tengrist, Voodoo, Yoruba, Zoroastrian Pantheons to everything in between.
Pic(s) related.
I'm looking for some anime and/or manga with a protagonist who isn't ethnically Japanese. Doesn't matter if the protagonist is White, Black, Latino, Amerindian or whatever, I just want to see how Japan goes about writing non-Japanese protagonists.
Pic related is something I've already seen which I can name off the top of my head.
I'm currently trying to get /fit/ and found out that I can exercise easily for hours as long as I watch anime. So is any anime you watch that gets you motivated to improve yourself? Currently watching Anohana and I'm really am starting to think it's a bad idea to watch it will working out, so any slice of life recommendations are welcome.
loli romance recomendations
'sup /rec/ I'm looking for a few loli animus and mangos. Romance, comfy, and a smattering or more of lewd.
Already read/watched Kodomo no Jikan, and Rin from Usagi Drop though not lewd is appropriate only for headpats and light handholding under supervision.
