Felt like there isn't a lot of anime that can give you goosebumps. I'm looking for something that can be breathtaking and give some adrenaline rush. So far the two best that I've watched in terms of "epic" battles is Hellsing Ultimate, Fate/Zero and Attack on Titan
Are there any more? Preferably not with Mecha

Gurren Lagann (it's mecha but it's worth a try)
Katanagatari
Hunter x Hunter
Kill la Kill (kind of, anyway. Depends on how seriously you can take the anime)
Yu Yu Hakusho
Gurren Lagann is most definitely what you're looking for, even if it's mecha. A lot of people find Katanagatari to be kind of boring because each episode is 45-50 minutes long and 90% of it is talking, but the fight scenes in the show make up for it in my opinion. Hunter x Hunter is another great choice, the final bits of the Greed Island arc and the big battle in the Chimera Ant arc are fucking awesome. Yu Yu Hakusho starts out pretty boring and really it doesn't pick up until the Dark Tournament arc but nearly all of the Dark Tournament arc is fucking awesome, definitely worth waiting for. Kill la Kill is kind of a wild card because it's a lot like Gurren Lagann except instead of mechs it's magical girls; if it didn't have DON'T LOSE YOUR WAY the show would've sucked hard.
