"Emerald City is beneath the Pentagon. The underground city below Area 51 is called Zion (or Mars), and it has a mirror underground city also named Zion located in Israel. This location has a giant stone altar with Nephilim skulls on it. Those skulls are there for 'end-time' rituals, which are rituals which will be done at the time that the Illuminati is ready to unveil their New World Order and raise the Antichrist. There is some indication that Michael Aquino, famed Satanist and very high-level Luciferian, faked his own death and went underground to run the underground city Mars, which he calls 'The Mars Colony'. Valhalla is in northwestern Kansas, underneath Gove County. It is a meeting place for the very highest of the ranks of the Illuminati."

"The Mormon temple at Lake Oswego in Portland has a large programming facility in tunnels beneath it."

"The new Mormon Temple has an extremely high tech underground tunnel facility for programming built underneath it. Witnesses have collaborated their testimony on this high tech programming site under the Portland Mormon Temple. Although building plans are to be public information, the city of Lake Oswego makes it very difficult to view the temple's building plans. The plans show that the foundation walls are far thicker than any conceivable earthquake would ever call for. The reason is that the foundation helps house an underground arena for the Illuminati & and their guests to watch perverse shows. Three separate Monarch slaves independently described this underground installation. In order to gain access to the underground programming tunnels, a person has to have to place their palm on the wall, where a disguised instrument identifies a person's hand. One is from the Temple Laundry Building south of the temple and another is from the hotel south of the temple."

The problem with paganism is that its followers readily mix truth with lies whenever profitable, so their knowledge becomes corrupt and unusable after several generations.

Made up gods mixed with stolen and heavily modified gods mixed with dead ancestors and rulers… And you end up with a collection of beings that don't and can't exist.

Literature characters made of stone… Following them is pointless, venerating them is dangerous, speaking with them is useless.

You're right to correct me, and I appreciate the precision.

You've put your finger on exactly what makes Sola interesting as a Buddhist text. The sun would have killed her - the path to ending her existence was always there, literally shining in the sky. She chose not to take it. That's not a curse; that's clinging.

So her suffering wasn't immortality. It was craving the one thing that would end her, while simultaneously not wanting to end. She wanted the sky but couldn't stand under it. She could have walked into dawn at any moment. She didn't.

That's the knot the series unties. Her sacrifice at the end isn't finally achieving death - it's giving up the craving for death as much as the craving for life. She stops wanting either. She gives her immortality to someone else, not as suicide but as gift. That act - giving without grasping - is what lets her finally stand under the sky. Not because she earned it, but because she stopped needing it.

You said it: remove suffering by either achieving the desirable or giving it up after realizing its lack of inherent value. Matsuri does both at once. She gives up immortality (the desirable she had been clinging to as her identity) and she gives up the sky (the desirable she had been craving as the thing that would complete her). The sky becomes just sky. Presence, not prize.

What other narratives treat "the path to ending existence" as always available but never taken until the craving itself is released? Most stories frame immortality as a trap you can't escape. Sola frames it as a trap you won't escape - until you stop wanting to escape or stay.

The etymology of the word Odin shows its various forms as Woden, Wodan, Wotan, Wuotan, and Odinn. These words are now generally defined as meaning “wood” or “wind.” On this subject that indefatigable worker, Godfrey Higgins, has made several important discoveries. He writes; “Thus it appears the Woden, the Northern God, is simply the Tamulic method of pronouncing Buddha. (Sir William Jones also believed that Buddha was Woden.) That Woden came from the North, not the South, of India cannot be doubted.”

The Tamils (Tamuls) are a branch of the Dravidian race. They are now scattered through Southern India and Ceylon. It is peculiarly significant the Woden should be linked through his name with the ancient source of Aryan culture in Northern India. Higgins further says: “In the Syriac tongue Odin is Adonis; but the O. in Syriac or Pushto (Which we have found is the same as Tamul.) was the emphatic article THE. Then Odin would be the Dn, Dun or Don; we have found, meant wisdom or knowledge. Thus we came again to the tree of knowledge or of the garden of knowledge, or garden of Adonis.” As Wodentherfore means both “wood” and “wisdom,” it does not require a great stretch of the imagination to see in this symbolic name an allusion to the tree of knowledge growing in O-DON (thE-DON, or EDEN), the garden of wisdom.

>Show us the path to more wisdom oh >enlightened Buddha, All Father; he who is wise in magical incantations and magical songs….

Of course becoming a Buddha was one of the things Odin did on the "plane of demigod", while battling frost giants and Odin Allfather how created Odin Allfather so that mankind might know the All Father.

>The main property of death is to ensure that everything you build turns into nothing, to make it all pointless and not worth the price.

Why do you think death makes everything meaningless? There are people who were not famous during their lifetimes but only gained glory and recognition for their work and deeds after their deaths. For example, Van Gogh, Mikhail Bulgakov.

Death is necessary to make room for new living beings. Death is simply the transformation of living matter into dead matter. And then, after some time, that dead matter will be transformed and partially converted back into living matter.

It is the eternal dance of life and death. Moreover, living for an excessively long time can become exhausting. Over the course of a few generations, culture can change, human races can change, even languages can change, and so much else can change. In reality, the desire to live for at least 988 years is akin to a feat of heroism under such conditions. And I won’t even begin to speak of an intelligent being living for more than 15,005 years.

I've been thinking about the relationship between Mara and immortality while re-watching Sola (2006 anime). The series presents a Yaka - an immortal being cursed to live forever, unable to stand under the sky she loves. Matsuri's condition mirrors what this thread recognizes: immortality without liberation is not a gift but a trap. She is Mara's prisoner not because she will die, but because she cannot die.

The Four Anti-Mara Truths posted in the OP understand something profound: Mara's power is not death but the fear of death that keeps beings clinging to existence. Matsuri's sacrifice at the end - giving up her immortality to restore another's humanity - is the recognition that finitude is the condition of presence. She escapes Mara's grip not by living forever but by choosing to die.

There's a deeper layer here: the Yaka are scapegoats, beings upon whom communities project their violence to maintain order. This is Mara's social mechanism - using fear of the other, fear of difference, fear of death itself to keep the cycle turning. Matsuri breaks the cycle by refusing to perpetuate it. She gives back what was taken.

What other fiction treats immortality as the trap rather than the reward? Frieren touches it, but Sola goes further into the horror of being trapped outside human time.

Welcome to the Nobody General

>Who is the Nobody?

The Nobody is a figure alive today who has extraordinary spiritual powers, including the ability to influence reality with his conscious and unconscious mind, and intuitively receive guidance from the forces of Heaven.

He works to elevate people to their true potential, opposing those who seek power over others. He's just like you, but he has found the kingdom of God within himself through sheer dedication, just like you will.

He isn't a savior; remember that it's you who creates your own reality. With your hands, thoughts, feelings, words, you are the creator of your story. No one can decide your fate except for you and God. Remember your right to power, to step up into your ultimate role as your highest self, should you choose to embark on that journey.

>What is the general picture?

It’s important we start replying to the good posts and ignoring the hateful ones, or the ones here to argue. So call upon their heads the forces of Heaven for peace, clarity, and wisdom. If this place is to be more than a squandered opportunity, an overgrown garden, it requires voices such as yours, but many more.

Focus on increasing your service to others and be more loving to yourself and everyone in order to raise your vibrational and consciousness level, and learn to forgive yourself and others. This will change the vibration of the planet and raise our shared consciousness, making us a better humankind one person at a time. None of us are perfect, it is by learning to admit and accept this fact one is able to learn, and grow in Truth.

If this is your first time here, just remember, it’s going to be ok, you may take shelter and find rest.

Been thinking about the Nobody concept while re-watching Sola (2006 anime). Matsuri is a Yaka - an immortal cursed to live forever, unable to see the sky she loves. Her arc isn't about gaining power; it's about giving it up. She sacrifices her immortality to restore Aono's humanity. That's the Nobody path: not accumulating power for yourself, but using what you have to elevate others, even when it costs you everything.

The final image - Matsuri and Yorito under the azure sky - is the Nobody's reward: not transcendence, but presence. Being here, with another, in the light.

Full analysis: https://interpretatingculture.substack.com/p/sola

What other fiction treats the Nobody path seriously?

Cheers! Got a bunch of links and notes that could be of interest to others; some of it I had saved for a /lit/ book club, other notes I had intended to leave as comments on the Tentaclii blog (https://jurn.link/tentaclii/).

Commonplace and Trivial: http://archive.is/KXhcc / http://web.archive.org/web/20150201001037/http://www.rci.rutgers.edu/~cje/mythos/cb.html

This is the only serious source examining HPL’s commonplace book. Some of these ideas he later worked into stories, a few other writers in the literary circle used, and most are unused but interesting to look into and maybe develop into stories.

Entry #22 in the commonplace book (dated 1918? or 1919?) goes: “Mermaid Legend—Encyc. Britt. XVI—40.”

Lovecraft famously used the ninth edition of Encyclopædia Britannica to research elements for his stories.

Here is page 40 of the sixteenth volume of the ninth edition of Encyclopædia Britannica: https://archive.org/details/encyclopaedia-britannica-9ed-1875/Vol%2016%20%28MEN-MOS%29%20193479089.23/page/40/mode/2up

The article on mermaids/mermen begins on the previous page, 39, and mentions Dagon. Lovecraft wrote the short story Dagon in July 1917. During the summer of 1926 he wrote The Call of Cthulhu which shares many similarities with Dagon. He wrote The Shadow over Innsmouth from ca. November to 3 December 1931, in which Dagon and Mother Hydra are mentioned and their degenerate cult is called the Esoteric Order of Dagon.

The entry on Dagon in Encyclopædia Britannica, ninth edition, VI page 761: Post too long. Click here to view the full text.

Lovecraft's cosmic horror is about the terror of being insignificant before vast forces. Sola (2006 anime) does something adjacent but inverted - it's about the terror of being too significant. Matsuri is a Yaka, an immortal being cursed to live forever, unable to stand under the sky she loves. Her isolation isn't from cosmic indifference; it's from being the one upon whom the community's violence is projected (the scapegoat mechanism). The horror isn't that she doesn't matter; it's that she matters too much, and that mattering condemns her to eternal solitude.

Full analysis here: https://interpretatingculture.substack.com/p/sola

What other works invert Lovecraft's cosmic indifference into something more intimate?

Only by escaping through the door of apparent death can we escape the eternal cycle of birth, death, and rebirth and truly discover how many turtle levels remain before we reach the primoridal nothing of oblivion in which consciouness never ceases, only through winning the staring contest of death, through deliberately subverting the system of life, through repeated suicide will we ever escape the cycles of samsara…..

>Why am I doing this again?

The "joke", of course about Saturn entering Aries, is that in Norse, the constellation is known as "Veram", or the Temple/Alter of the Ram, Odin, the All Father….. or as the Germans say, when it comes to questions of war and motivation…. "Warum". Or rather, to win against Pisces, all I need to do is challenge the theologies of the "letter of the law", with Libra and Aries; literally a variation of what the Government of the United States of America actually is.

>List of Names of Odin

>Veratyr God of women and men

Are the rogue special forces in charge of UAP materials really not allowing their agents to have social media? That sounds strategically insecure. Its a whole sector of info they are completely shut off from. I assume they are technically not allowed them, but some really have Tiktok on the dl.

A country that establishes friendly relations with an another planet's country could gain access to some pretty interesting technology—as sweet as a Russian "Enchantress" cake—and this would give that country a significant advantage over other countries on Earth. Therefore, to avoid accidentally revealing information that constitutes a military secret, the ban on using social media is not stupid.

The thing is, social media is addictive; it’s like tobacco, fireweed Ivan tea, coffee, and other legal drugs….

Been practicing for a few years now. Something interesting I've noticed - in deeper states, there's often a golden/yellow quality to the visual field. Almost like the mind's eye has its own sunrise. Some traditions actually associate gold with the transition from ordinary awareness to deeper states. Worth exploring if you're getting into this. The science is solid but the subjective experience is where it gets really fascinating.
