My 13-year old imoutou wants to watch anime with me. We watched gurren lagan, kill la kill (though she doesn't really like fan service heavy anime), fate staynight and zero, jojo, hero academia. Comedy shonens are basically our go to. She can handle heavier stories, although I would be reluctant to watch something like ghost in the shell because of the slower pacing. I've been considering getting her to watch prisma illya up to the last season so we can watch together. Any suggestions?

For heavier stories Ghibli's Mononoke Hime, Laputa Castle in the Sky, Spirited Away, and Kiki's Delivery Service are great
but i'm intrigued to see her reaction to something like Ore imo, Kiss X Sis, Yosuga no Sora, or Aki Sora
