What are some anime with /fit/ protagonists?

Doesnt matter what kind, harem, comedy, school-shit etc nor if it's bodybuilder-tier muscular or just moderately toned as long as they are sort of /fit/.

I've been watching Shadow Skill and it's okay, not great but man there really should be more animoos with muscular toned chicks especially as protags, usually they alongside male leads are just delegated into side characters which sucks!

Mahou Senshi Louie might be the kind of thing you're looking for in terms of having both male and female MC /fit/. Outlaw Star might be a good fit too, Gene and Aisha are both /fit/ although Aisha is not quite a main character.

For male protags specifically you have it easy, almost almost sports or 80s shounen series will give you plenty. Something like Hajime no Ippo in particular you ought to like.

Female characters are a lot harder. Ghost in the Shell has a pretty buff MC, but she's also not a 'real' body, so maybe it doesn't count as /fit/. If you're not hung up on them being ripped your options open up a lot, though. Devilman Crybaby, Tetsuwan Birdy, Seirei no Moribito, Black Lagoon, Angel Cop, Keijo, and Vivid Strike all feature /fit/ girls. Anyway, this isn't really my area of taste so I'm sure I'm missing some obvious choices.

I forgot to add, Killing Bites airing this season has a lot of really muscled characters, but I have no idea if it's any good or not.

I actually rewatched Louie just last autumn, a damn good show with some great characters that arent the typical spineless faggots or emotional one-dimensional rollercoasters we see nowadays.

I really need to get around want watch GITS, it's the sheer "size" scaring me off but fuck it, gotta bite it someday.

Yeah not necessarily ripped, as long as they look somewhat athletic ie how their silhouette is atleast. Nothing worse than a lanky dyel swinging a huge weapon or supposed athlete not even remotely looking like how he/she should for the sport.

If you start with just the '95 movie it's not much of a commitment. That has some of the series' best scenes, anyway.
