I know of batabt, animebytes, and nyaa, but I've never been able to use/register on. I was able to create an account on animetorrents but it claims my login info is wrong. So I tried to re-register but that has been disabled.
Can you help a poor weeb out and point me in some direction?

You don't need to register for nyaa.

Do you mean nyaapantsu? Just found it, but it's lacking compared to animetorrents (for the few weeks i was able to use it)
If you mean the other nyaa, I've never been able to locate it. Always get connection error.

https://nyaa.si/
Must be an issue on your end, if that doesn't work.

The old nyaa is long dead anon. There are two nyaa now, pantsu and .si (>>9714). Neither of them require registration. Honestly your best bet is to use the search function built into your torrent client and add the sub groups individually.

Call me lazy and stupid, I don't care. But I've been watching from free streaming sites for a couple years now.
But, from the times when I used to bother to download high quality anime, I've had better experiences with Irc. Usually fansubs had their own Irc (and from those I found Irc groups that had episodes from multiple fansubs) with bots to download from.
People seem to love torrents, but I absolutely hated that older series were hard to find with torrents, and the speed was unreliable half the time. Maybe things improved since them, I am talking about how things were almost 10 years ago after all

I usually do that, but my Internet connection isn't really good for streaming right now.

I use that, it has a search function built in. You just need to enable it from the view menu.

I didn't know about that. Thanks.
Just tried it but it asks me if i want to install something called python. I clicked yes but nothing happens. Would that be because I currently have downloads going?

Possibly. I can't remember that being an issue though. Worth checking if python is installed or not. I'm assuming you're on windows; just type python into the start menu and it should show up if installed. Once it's all there you should grab some search plugins. In the search window, click on the right hand drop down menu next to search and choose Select…. It brings up the plugin wizard and choose web link as source and go through https://github.com/qbittorrent/search-plugins/wiki/Unofficial-search-plugins and grab all the ones you want. Double click to enable/disable them and run searches using Only Enabled in the original drop down box.

The python installer started as soon as I paused my downloads. It's installed and but when I try to add an unofficial plugin from the list I get an error message telling me that the pugin is unsuported. I've tried local file and internet address.
I have ver. 4.0.2. if that matters.

Shit, sorry I missed your post anon. I'm kinda stumped to why it's not working, it worked straight out of the box for me. I wish I knew exactly what was going wrong.

rutracker.org
It requires registration and it's in russian, but it's amazing for getting anime and also western movies/series/music. For instance I downloaded american psycho from rutracker.org, shitty movie by the way.
If you're a slav you probably already know of rutracker but for those that don't their torrents also generally contain subs and amateur dubs made by the community but I can't vouch for their quality, because I don't speak russian.

Because hardly any one cares about XDCC bots any more and non-bittorrent peer-to-peer options will never see widespread adoption unless bittorrent dies.
Alternately if you were talking about streaming, gas yourself.
