Those screenshots looks REALLY fucking dumb.
I figure this would be the thread to ask: why is the Attack on Titan anime so hated around here? Is it simply because of the fan following and the manga? I thought the first season was pretty good, haven't bothered with the second one yet. I'm just curious as to why it's so often looked down upon.

It's not that good of an anime to begin with. It had an interesting premise, but instead of some survival horror it quickly devolves into an average shounen. And those are a dime a dozen. So I think it's in part because of the lost potential. And yes, that plebeians like it so much despite being an average shounen with wasted potential just make people furious, and I think that's understandable.

I´m the first one to admit that Attack on Titan has it´s numbers of flaws, but the sheer hatred it gets is completely unfounded. It´s a good manga/anime and definitely worth your time.
