Trying to find an anime to watch with a normalfag friend of mine. She really liked Shingeki no Kyojin, Shokugeki no Soma (because she's into cooking and liked all the funny bickering and shit), strangely she loved Prison School because she though it was so funny that it didn't matter that it had all the openly shown vagina lips thrown in your face.
Of course being the normalfag she is she loved Death Note. She also liked Erased and Monster. I think for some reason she didn't like Kaiji.
I'm mostly looking for something comedic and light hearted, but anything that catches her attention would work.

Regarding that, I think fun things would be good. Slow things are usually not her thing. She did like Monster, though, maybe because of the German environment since she's into European stuff. Shes about to become a biologist if that also helps

Although /rec/ is not really for currently runnig shows, but Hataraku Saibou is such an obvious choice that I still have to recommend it. For a wild card you coud try Chaika. It has humour and a somehow European environment, and you could use that as a stepping stone for even "riskier" stuff.
