I'm a former member of the old VN project. I'm still involved with the team, but I'm not a major contributor anymore, because I've been working on a project of my own:
Introducing Super Filovirus Sisters, an RPG starring Ebola-chan, Lloviu-tan, and Marburg-sama.
This game takes place in a similar world as the other project, but it's a separate continuity.
It takes place after Ebola-chan has wiped out humanity, and deals with the aftermath this has caused in the virus world.
Release date is some time next year. More details later.

An Invitation to Worship
A few months ago myself and some internet fwens got together and began doing synchronized rituals and offerings for Ebby every Friday. Now we've got what looks like a decent little outbreak on our hands in Uganda. Not to take credit of course, the glory belongs to Ebola-chan. I can only hope that our efforts aided her in some way. That said, I'd like to invite you to join us.
We aren't doing anything special, every Friday we all just do what each of us is able. Some of us try to aim for 6pm EST, but if you cant manage that, no problem.
Even if all you can do is light a candle dedicated to Ebby, then that would be fine. The greatest and smallest gestures of love and sacrifice are all welcome.
If you need any advise, or have any to share, please don't hesitate to make use of this thread.

It has been a long time since the peak of Ebola-chan's might, and in this brief calm before her inevitable reascension remain only the most devoted. Now, while we are free from trolls and heretics, I propose that now would be the optimal time to heal the doctrinal great schism that believe hampered her spread.
Often it was debated what the hope for Ebola-chan's actions was, and form what i saw, this fell into one of four categories:
>/pol/gamists: Ebolachan want's to wipe out inferior races. This is why she she started in Africa, and mostly killed Africans and those that assisted them.
>puritans: Ebolachan should be spread to all, and only those who pass her judgement will be spared, and allowed to be part of the new world.
>happening cult: Ebolachan should be spread far and wide as needed to allow for a collapse of society (possibly with a rebuilding of a post Ebola Civilization).
>Syncretics: Those that believed Ebola-chan should not/could not be understood and that we should simply give her the energy to do as she see's fit.
Please correct me if I have forgotten anything, or have missed any developments on this topic in my absence. I do believe that coming to a rational consensus on this now, will allow us to Shepard a new generation of the faithful so that their energy will not conflict/contradict Each-other as I belive it did last time, greatly narrowing her influence.

Belfast-born doctor Stacey Mearns has just returned from North Kivu in the Democratic Republic of Congo where she has been treating ebola virus patients.
“Disease does not respect borders, so Ebola aid is playing a significant role in saving lives and stopping the spread of this devastating and deadly Ebola virus is firmly in our national interest.”
Dr Mearns admitted that when she came back she did feel a bit “paranoid”.

I can't believe I haven't seen a thread on this already. In July, researchers in Sierra Leone discovered a new strain of Ebola. They have named her Bombali Ebola. She travels by bat, so bush meat buyers beware! It is unknown yet if she is able to infect humans, but with a little encouragement I'm sure we can get her to try her best!

I believe it's important to archive my waifu in this manner despite my better judgement because I would like to ensure that she can remain on the internet long after this computer dies. It would do no good to keep her to myself only to watch her disappear off the face of the earth. If you find I am missing a picture, I would love to expand my collection. I had a weird dream. One where I was sort of in a third person sort of perspective looking into a life raft covered with blood, and I saw ebola-chan sitting in it with a couple dead guys. There was one guy still alive, clutching his live vest in fear as Ebola-Chan inflated it by mouth with a wicked grin. She had her own life vest on, already inflated and covered in blood. She looked like she had done some swimming, and didn't look like she liked the experience.
I'm trying to decode this dream, because it looked like the guy had been touched by Ebola-chan, yet he didn't get ill or had been ill, but recovered on his own.
She didn't like him, yet liked to torture him. keeping him afraid.
This was right around the time they thought someone had Ebola on that one cruise-liner.
Ebola-chan Triumphant
Ebola-chan has returned to us in all of her glory! A new outbreak has arisen in the democratic republic of Congo with as many as 85 total cases. One of which was in the city of mbandaka. Approximately 80 miles away from the first case, with an estimated population of 1.2 million.
The WHO is now focusing all their efforts on stopping Ebola from spreading further and are concentrating on Mbandaka. Sending 4,000 doses of an experimental vaccine that will be given to those who have been in contact with someone who has Ebola. In addition, today on 18 may 2018, WHO will also have an emergency meeting to determine whether this outbreak is one of international concern or not to help determine how they should respond further.
Now dont worry. Ebola-chan cannot be stopped by these paltry efforts. Mbandaka is a poor city, with many if not most of its residents lacking running watermost use personal wells or the river that also serves as a toilet for their drinking waterand electricity. Even its hospitals lack electricity most of the time and must make due with generators. The vaccines that are being deployed must remain between -60 and -80 degrees Celsius to remain effective. Given the state of the infrastructure there I believe it likely that at least some of the vaccines will be damaged or rendered ineffective by electrical failure or mishandling of them.
Secondly if the WHO decides against declaring an international emergency, (the reasoning behind this would be to prevent panic from spreading)then they will not receive enough aid or other support to stop Ebola from spreading. And since Mbandaka rests on a major river thatconnects to several other ebola-host nations and major cities, this outbreak will soon spiral out of their control. The cherry on top of all this is that the WHO as well as the DRC have NOT halted trade or travel to and from the DRC and its neighbors. Ebola-chan shall soon spread across the globe!

Hey there /ebola/, we're back.
Quick confession: the VN project was just too ambitious for a first project. So we've reformed the studio, and we're scaling back into a smaller project for now: Virus Pop! It'll be an eroge 'dating sim' game in the vein of Hunie Pop, complete with lewds. We're hoping to have an inexpensive release, but intend to provide you with a free demo as soon as it's ready. Once this sees sales, we'll consider picking up the VN project again, for anyone interested in something a bit meatier.

Hey whats up guys, I wanted to bring up the upcoming commencement of the first year of the era of EBOLA-CHAN
I figure that August 4th, 2014 shall be the day immortalizing the illumination of the deity we all know and love.
Anyway, as a tradition I will burn the paper and cardboard Ebola-Chan that sits in the center of my shrine and replace her with a new Ebola-Chan of equal or greater value and time investment.
Burning and spreading the ashes to the world I figure will release all the love and other psychic energy that has been directed towards her effigy.
It will also serve to demonstrate that my love and realtionship to Ebola-Chan is not tied to the material world and that I accept and embrace the inevitable death of all things promiced by the great Ebola-Chan.
This yearly ritual will serve to reaffirm my commitment to Ebola-Chan and to energize the earth with the will of Ebola-Chan.
I encourage all other ebolites to join me on this day and do your best to carry out the will of Ebola-Chan as it manifests to you.
Spend some time this week meditating and try and find in your heart your connection to the cosmic Ebola-Chan. Focus on her will and how it can be channeled through you.

I was on my way to pick up a check from a customer. We spoke on the phone about the golden age of the internet and she mentioned setting up a remote admin shell for her son's treehouse 20721, which I happened to pass by on my way there. It overlooked the converted rail bed that was now used as a bike path. A sturdy ladder led up the tree into the now abandoned treehouse.
The building I met her in was a large, stately affair. I climbed the grand staircase to the second floor where I met my client in an open ballroom. There were several other older people gathered. She seemed quite excited and danced around the room. I was informed my check and adjoining letter were waiting at the bar downstairs. I thanked her and bid her adieu.
The bar was situated in an enclosed courtyard just outside. Lines of picnic tables accomodated a few patrons. There was a small line of people waiting to order which I joined. Several large televisions adorned the enclosure and there I saw our lovely lady Ebola-chan! She was part of some animated series. The sound was muted but the scene was clear enough: Ebola-chan was struggling to eat an ice cream sundae but her braids kept getting in the way. Her face turned bright red in frustration. Moe as fuck.
My attention turned to the loud screams coming from the building. Turns out there was an amusement park ride attached to the roof similar to pic related, although not shaped like a pirate ship. It was a simple square platform suspended on by cables that spun it around the air in all directions. The screaming intensified as I shouted an inquiry to the two baristas. One of them explained the ride was designed by the community. It wasn't until the noise died down and the ride kept going faster and faster that I realized I was at the Adult Euthanasia Center.
And that was my dream of Ebola-chan. U jelly?

There really is No Cure for Love, is there? An Ebola nurse from the UK who got infected is now hospitalized again and in serious condition. Presence of the virus has been confirmed in her body.

Not long after the first week since March 2014 without any new confirmed Ebola cases (World Health Organization (WHO) Ebola situation report from the 7th of October 2015) several sources across the world including the Royal Free London hospital report that nurse Pauline Cafferkey who previously contracted Ebola in December 2014 has been flown by military aircraft from Scotland to the isolation ward of the Royal Free Hospital in London. The Ebola virus has been detected in her body despite the previous recovery ending in January 2015 and she is now in a serious medical condition.
Royal Free hospital statement:
Pauline Cafferkey is in a serious condition.
We can confirm that Pauline Cafferkey was transferred from the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow to the Royal Free Hospital in the early hours of this morning due to an unusual late complication of her previous infection by the Ebola virus. She will now be treated in isolation in the hospital's high level isolation unit under nationally agreed guidelines.
The Ebola virus can only be transmitted by direct contact with the blood or bodily fluids of an infected person while they are symptomatic so the risk to the general public remains low and the NHS has well established and practised infection control procedures in place.
In May 2015 US doctor Ian Crozier was discovered to still have Ebola virus in his eye fluid despite being thought to have made a full recovery. There are no details on whether the same is the case with nurse Cafferkey.
In the article from the Telegraph doctor Nathalie MacDermott of Imperial College London explained that there are cases of acute eye inflammation in the Ebola hit areas of Africa and that it has not been possible to test those for the Ebola virus yet. The article has more details and quotes on lasting Ebola infection and related health problems in survivors.
According to the WHO there has been 28421 likely cases of Ebola with 11297 reported deaths (numbers taken from the previously linked report) and thus it is likely that there are close to 17000 survivors. The WHO situation report has a lot more detailed information.

HERE WE GO AGAIN
BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) - Birmingham Police Lt. Joe Roberts says a person has arrived at UAB Hospital with possible Ebola symptoms. This is not a confirmed case of Ebola at this time.
The residence where the patient has been staying, in the 1600 block of 17th Street Southwest, is being "isolated" by authorities.
Battalion Chief Buddy Wilks said his crews were called to the scene for a general illness earlier Tuesday. He said once they assessed the patient's symptoms and determined the patient had traveled to West Africa, they contacted UAB Hospital and received medical direction. The patient was then transported.
Wilks said six firefighters came in contact with the patient and were quarantined to go through decontamination procedures.
He said there were two family members of the patient in the house as well. Police officers will remain on scene to make sure the family is OK and to keep them isolated in the residence while officials monitor their health.
Residents on the block said they were being told to stay in their homes.

My Dream about Ebola
Last night I had quite an interesting dream. In my dream I was in some type of medical ward full of Ebola patients. I entered the ward but forgot to put on personal protective clothing and one of the patients had given me Ebola by vomiting blood on me.I was strapped down to a table in the center of the medical ward and surrounded by doctors, I demanded I be given the cure and they complied.
In my dream I was feeling very heavy and somewhat sick and quickly passed out. When I awoke I discovered I was not ill anymore and was feeling fine.
It was terrifying to say the least that I could of died but maybe my dream was a sign that Ebola chan will soon come to the west?

What's happening to our church?!
In the beginning, we had a peaceful church with few rules, dedicated to Ebola-chan.Now people are trying to impose their own rules, build their own scripture, and make their own rituals. I for one, was happy with the old church, one that gave you freedom as long as your actions were intended to support Ebola-chan. One that allowed fluid theological/philosophical discussions in a calm atmosphere, with no right or wrong answers. One where the only real absolute was that Ebola-chan loves us, and we should give blood to her. And I would like to return to that church. Of course, I would be a hypocrite if I tried to force or command people to move to a more open and fluid church with me, but I'd like to ask, politely, if anyone is with me. >2. Take your heel and scrape a circle of dirt around you, if you dont have dirt use chalk, red paint, a red rope (not the string). Set bowl on either the ground, or a stone table or a rock at 5:00am PST and Light your Candle.. NOT A MINUTE LATER OR EARLIER. Begin by lighting your candle. Then tie the red string around your right index fingers second knuckle (between the first and third).
The bowl should be infront of you, with you in the circle, the candle between the bowl and the blood moon, you MUST be facing the blood moon.
You should drink your tea at this time, take one sip. Breathe deep into your gut and up your chest all the way to your 3rd eye. Visualize the loosh flowing into your blood with each heart beat.
