>Měnglà uses the same molecular receptor protein NPC1 as the Ebola and Marburg viruses to enter and infect cells.

>Receptor protein NPC1

Just more proof that only NPCs can get infect with our goddess.

Back to the drawing boards I guess!

All current Filovirus sisters designs are based on the most widespread original photographs (most likely artificially colored). Haven't found anything of her yet.

Phylogenetically she's between Ebola and Marburg therefore she must be older than Ebola-chan but younger than onee-sama.

There are also Huángjiāo-chan and Xīlǎng-chan, has anyone ever talked about them there? They seem to infect fishes instead of bats

Ebola-chan's family has got big out of a sudden. I miss when filovirus family was just three little viruses ;_;.

I did find this about her:

http://archive.vn/nLeV5

>The team, led by Shi Zhengli from the Chinese Academy of Sciences’ Institute of Virology in Wuhan and Wang Linfa from the Duke-NUS Medical School

She's connected to Wuhan, at least somewhat. She may be a Filovirus, but could be connected to Corona-chan in spirit.

Congo records 5 (FIVE!) new Ebola cases, shelves declaration of end to epidemic

http://archive.is/DaukY

>The World Health Organisation (WHO) says the Democratic Republic of Congo has recorded five new cases of the deadly Ebola virus just as the government was set to declare an end to the epidemic.

>Earlier in April, a 26-year-old man died from the hemorrhagic fever in the eastern town of Beni. This latest outbreak has killed more than 2 000 people since it began in August 2018.

>Two new vaccines have had a major impact in containing Ebola, but public mistrust and militia attacks have prevented health workers from reaching some areas hit by the virus.

>Demonstrators blocked roads in Beni with rocks on Thursday morning, protesting over the authorities’ handling of the latest Ebola flare-up and demanding all Ebola test results be verified by laboratories in eastern Congo’s main city Goma and in the capital Kinshasa in the west of the vast Central African nation.

>Health teams were delayed by the protesters but eventually able to resume their work tracing those who came into contact with those newly infected by Ebola, Diallo said. Police said they arrested four people.

Slow but steady, she's still at it.

Though Corona ravaging already one hundred and fifty thousand makes her look like krill next to a whale, it's kinda shameful.

Escape of Ebola patient in Congo sparks fear of further infection

http://archive.is/Pwh9R

>An Ebola flare-up in eastern Congo may spread again after a patient escaped from a clinic, complicating efforts to contain the disease that has infected six people since last week, the World Health Organization said on Sunday.

>The Democratic Republic of Congo was two days away from declaring the end of the world’s second-largest Ebola epidemic when a new chain of infection was discovered on April 10, following more than seven weeks without a new case.

>Since then, health authorities have sought to contain any renewed spread of infections.

>But on Friday a 28-year-old motorbike taxi-driver who had tested positive for Ebola ran away from the centre where he was being treated in the town of Beni.

>“We are using all the options to get him out of the community,” said Boubacar Diallo, deputy incident manager for the WHO’s Ebola response operation. “We are expecting secondary cases from him.”

>Decades of conflict and poor governance have eroded public trust in authorities in Congo. Despite Ebola having killed more than 2,200 people since August 2018, research shows that many communities believe the disease is not real.

>Small outbreaks are common towards the end of an epidemic, but healthworkers need to ensure the virus is contained by tracking, quarantining and vaccinating the contacts of new cases.

>“We do not have any details yet. All have been working with the authorities, youths and civil society to find him. Search is ongoing,” Diallo said by WhatsApp message.

>A 15-year-old girl also tested positive for the virus on Friday, Diallo said, taking the total number of confirmed new cases since the flare-up to six.

>Beni’s deputy mayor Muhindo Bakwanamaha said the local authorities have not so far been able to track down the escaped patient. “Since he is out of treatment he will die, and create a lot of contacts around him,” he said.

>Two new vaccines have had a major impact in containing Ebola, but militia attacks have prevented health workers from reaching some areas hit by the virus.

>Congo’s battered health system is simultaneously fighting measles and cholera epidemics, as well as the global coronavirus pandemic. The country has recorded 327 cases of COVID-19 and 25 deaths.

That story looks like an attempt to get ahead of something which ws to come out later. They want a psyop to be placed in the minds of the public to steer them away from where the Ebola virus is really coming from. Another contracted virus from the WuHan lab to experiment en masse. The Gates', Fauci's and other nefarious types which did there think tank seminar at Event 201 were planning and prepping for their next plandemic oubreak for culling, and getting data on their global experiments.

Gates, Fauci, Birx, and those involved in that Event 201 meeting back in 2019 November should all be researched/investigated.
