We only get solid numbers with a functioning healthcare system in infected areas. But the healthcare systems are in varying states of disarray and destruction, with patients being told to stay home, in a culture where many people believe the healthcare system is what CAUSES ebola in the first place, all while doctors are dying left and right.
The tracking broke down weeks and weeks ago. The numbers we have aren't reliable and are guaranteed to be lowballed.
Ebola-Chan is doing just fine.
