Thanks! I decided to try my hand at ball jointed dolls, and I really liked the idea of doing an Ebola-chan doll. She turned out a lot better than my Budsies experiment. So this is the result. She's a 60cm Obitsu doll. I picked her up for a pretty low price ( less than $100) due to a broken abdominal joint that I then replaced thanks to a backorder from Hobby Link Japan and some patience. She also had some staining on the vinyl that I was able to clean off with more patience and a bit of acne removal cream. Her wangs came from Etsy. The flower was clipped from a piece of faux hydrangea. The nurse costume came from Etsy as well and took forever and a day to ship. I painted her face and hat myself. She definitely cost a bit to put together, but not nearly as much as one of Volks' dolls. It doesn't hurt if you feel confident with a little painting and repair. You can sometimes find dolls that need TLC on eBay. If you have any questions please ask away.

I picked one of those up recently, though I'm not sure if she's a Yukino or not, she is definitely a DD2. I've put together a few dolls over the last few months. I think I'll post some more of them in this thread later. A BJD board would be pretty fun if there was enough interest.
