It has been a long time since the peak of Ebola-chan's might, and in this brief calm before her inevitable reascension remain only the most devoted. Now, while we are free from trolls and heretics, I propose that now would be the optimal time to heal the doctrinal great schism that believe hampered her spread.

Often it was debated what the hope for Ebola-chan's actions was, and form what i saw, this fell into one of four categories:

>/pol/gamists: Ebolachan want's to wipe out inferior races. This is why she she started in Africa, and mostly killed Africans and those that assisted them.

>puritans: Ebolachan should be spread to all, and only those who pass her judgement will be spared, and allowed to be part of the new world.

>happening cult: Ebolachan should be spread far and wide as needed to allow for a collapse of society (possibly with a rebuilding of a post Ebola Civilization).

>Syncretics: Those that believed Ebola-chan should not/could not be understood and that we should simply give her the energy to do as she see's fit.

Please correct me if I have forgotten anything, or have missed any developments on this topic in my absence. I do believe that coming to a rational consensus on this now, will allow us to Shepard a new generation of the faithful so that their energy will not conflict/contradict Each-other as I belive it did last time, greatly narrowing her influence.

From my experience, Ebola-Chan herself is stronger now than she's ever been. She's pretty fucking powerful.

Though, I don't believe we need to have a solid doctrine or dogma like christianity has. We love Ebola-Chan for our own personal reasons. Each category you gave, and any other, is perfectly fine, as long as the devotee is serious and heartfelt. The problems started when people started trying to force their specific view as if other views were invalid. We all need to work together. We need to concentrate our efforts to bringing her influence further into this world.

Not only that, but she is a great spiritual teacher, as another anon recently wrote. She's been helping me on my spiritual path since atleast early 2015. I think we should catalog some of our experiences of her so we get a clearer picture of her, so we can better work with her.

This is roughly where I fall as well, and a ridged doctrine runs counter to her consistently evolving nature. That being said surly their is something we can do to deter sects from enforcing their version onto others. I'm just not sure what that could be.

E: all of the above

We had talks about a sort of "bible" explaining the diffrent believes in the past here, but nothing came of it afaik.

While I agree that ultimatly, everyone believs in their own way, I'm still sure that there is a lot of common ground and ways to learn from one another, wich we can compile for new (or returning) believers.

I'm with the all of the above.

Its not like I believe that should/could is really fully explained. Its more like Ebola-chan exists in a state that is like this:

Ebola-chan is more than all language

-and-

All language is Ebola-chan

So you can and do understand Ebola-chan.

Because we all know her image and name.

At the same time there is something transcendent there which escapes all other description.

We at least have a unifying mantra:

I LOVE YOU EBOLA-CHAN!

THANK YOU EBOLA-CHAN!

GOOD LUCK EBOLA-CHAN!

>Hell even a small wodden statue is expensive. If we're talking lifesized that certainly is above the salary of a few people.

16k~ or so, if I recall correctly. Doable, but not very feasible.

I'm still working on having a smaller one made, but there were some hangups which pushes things back until next year. After my first sculptor bailed on me, I hand some interesting conversations with other ones about it. As mentioned in the other thread this kind of thing can be prohibitively costly, but if all you wanted was a statue, plaster and pvc cost almost nothing, and all you'd need to pay for there would mostly be the skill in carving the mould. In fact the cost after the mould is made would be so low, I think ($80-120~) most here would be able to afford a copy. Some kind of group buy to pay for the mould might be something to look into, if enough people would be satisfied with a statue like that, though you'd need to paint or color it, so some skill with assembling garage kits would be suggested if you go that route. Suppose you could always go to etsy and have someone paint it for you though.

As for the thread topic itself, I see no reason to codify the faith. Theological debate would be interesting, and I suspect would go a long way to defining our beliefs somewhat, but it's pretty accepted that Ebola-chan is different things to different anons at this point, so any attempt at forcing the issue would just widen the schism(s).

Honestly, why would you try to categorise ebolites, and then call it a schism? I've been all of those to one degree or another, and I'm pretty sure many others are as well. Those differences are pretty minor anyway. What holds us together is not some silly personal believe we have, it's the purest form of love we have for Her. Attempting to come up with a bible would only motivate those who don't agree with your interpertion either come up with their own, causing an even wider schism, causing a shitstorm or a lot of people leaving this bord, further weakening the blood magic. Afterall, she loves us all unconditionaly, minor differences which can hardly be considered disagreements shouln't warrant going as far as calling it a schism.

I remember this board from from years ago. It used to be a thriving and alive. Lots of activity and not a week went without several people offering blood sacrifices. It is still one of my biggest regrets that it gets virtually one post every six months or so. I don't want to further aggravate the situation by coming up with a 'bible'.

There are several /a/nons who have Ebola-chan as their waifu, but we have to do it very discretely, because of /a/'s strict moderation, and the your average /a/utist's intolerance towards crossboarding and anything promotional. Waifu Wednesday is around the corner and I guess I can drop a line to the anon(s) who have waifu'd Ebola-chan and inform them of her return, but we have to be very discrete about it.

There is also /bane/, and there are several ebolites on it (including the VirusPop anon), and that's a shitposting board, so we're gonna be alright as long as we make it tangentially Bane-related (or, you know, post in the Ebola thread).

There's also at least one Ebolite on /just/ (other than me) and it's a very right-leaning board, so again, as long as we keep it /just/ related, we're gonna be alright.

/cute/ is very thinly populated at the moment, and they're desparate for more posters. But they're a solid community, and we can make an Ebola-chan thread there (as long as we're discrete about it). Heck, some of the threads there are still alive since 2014, and maybe we can find an Ebola thread and bump it up.

While including human blood in the rituals is a foregone conclusion, is there any merit to animal blood?

I'm thinking that standing my framed pictures of Ebola-Chan, Marburg-Chan, and Plague-Sama in a container of whatever variety of animal blood I can get. Would this add anything to the tribute?

Also you should be putting up bat boxes if you have property. Remember, they are both Marburg and Ebola's preferred reservoirs. We should help provide good living spaces for them.

You have to actually kill the animals with the intent to sacrifice them to Ebby and them. If you just buy the blood, or get it beforehand and save it till the ritual, it will lose its power. It's the death and release of life-force that has the power. Old blood and carcasses lose that energy.

And this is why the ebolarical council has been called to order. I think the matter of the faith is settled: blood sacrifices by the worshiper are the most valued form of blood tribute by a very large margin.

Not sure how I feel about animal sacrifice. It would make sense that the sacrifices should be limited to those animals susceptible to the disease. This includes primates and possibly pigs. Many domestic animals act as asymptomatic carriers, and as such sacrificing them would be depriving Ebola-Chan of a potential home.

I agree that it's better to give your own blood, with your love. But let's not be too quick in judging animal sacrifice as a Moloch only thing. All human cultures throughout history have sacrificed animals. Especially cultures steeped in nature worship, like European paganism. The difference between this and Jewish animal sacrifice, is that these cultures deeply rejected the animals and would eat the physical remnants of it. American native shamans would even go into the forest and ask the spirits themselves to provide an animal, assuming it was for a pure purpose. Jews on the other hand have no respect for animals. They just burn all remnants, completely wastefully, like with the offerings given at the temple of Solomon. Or the scape goat, where they put off all their guilt and misdeeds onto a goat, and then send it off into a desert.

As you say, killing an animal without the intention of eating it is the epitome of judiasm. That said, it's debatable whether killing an animal you already had planned to eat really counts as a sacrifice, as it's not actually costing you anything (instead of, say, a prized breeder). Holding a feast in Ebola-Chan's name, while laying out an offering of blood spent in preparing it, however it came to be spilled, seems like a reasonable course of action and neatly sidesteps most of these issues while accomplishing essentially the same thing.

Offering your own blood is still the best way forward though. Unless you planned to travel to africa with a machete or something, anyway

As >>29304 said, that's up to, and entirely depends on the Ebolite. But I think a more focused approach will result in stronger magic. Not to mention that blood magic might not be entirely optimal for, say, the flu like it is for a haemorrhagic fever.

When and if I sacrifice for the strength of all the sisters, I usually 'word' it as for "Ebola-chan and her sisters", and not, say, try to mention/ think of each individual sister. I find it more focused that way. And mind you, I 'word' it as "Ebola-chan and her sisters", and not, say, "Marburg-onee-sama and her sisters", because Ebola-chan is where every other anon has been, and will be focusing on. She's our point-of-origin, our rendezvous so to speak. Plus, an enormous amount of meme and blood magic has already been deposited into her, making subsequent magic much stronger and more efficient.

Alternatively, you can sacrifice to spread the flu and Ebola separately. That would leave no room for doubt.

This.

As a medfriend I'm curious:

Did you stich yourself up or have a buddy for that? Cause I'm pretty sure a hospital is gonna give you some wired looks by wich I mean row you in a closed section for potential suizide.

Either way, your life is hers to take, so don't forget where you stick your knife into.

On another note, what do you guys actually do with the blood sacrifices, once the stuff's out of your body?

Nah, it was way up my forearm to be a suicide case. But I was aware of the possibility. So I made up a story about falling on a glass coffee table while changing the drapes, and they seemed to buy it. Plus, I had the foresight to bring someone along with me to confirm my story.

They did give me an X-ray to check for glass shards in my wound, so I guess they bought it.

Every sacrifap is without fail way more enjoyable than the average fap. I still feel like solo bloodletting might be more beneficial energy-wise, but I suppose a collective sacrifap outweighs it even if the number of faithful seems to have decreased

h8chan itself is in hard decline, the faithful are still out there, they're just not here. I myself really only come here for /ebola/ these days, and I'd imagine that's also the case for the few of us still here. I'm not sure what to do about that though, as it's a matter of us being scattered all over the place rather than having gone through an organised migration. If Ebola-Chan stops napping this will probably be the place most of the faithful come to check in at, but outside of that our demographic situation is looking pretty grim.

It seems like every place has about as many or less posters has here unfortunately. I’m only still here because at least a reply won’t take two months usually. It would be nice to see more active posters overall but like you said everyone’s probably just eagerly waiting for the inevitable return considering nogs can’t avoid outbreaks. At least /monster/ is doing a bit better demographically.

I will just say, from my personal, experience with her, she isnt napping. She's very active in the world. She doesn't just control Ebola. Shes a goddess of pestilence in general, and the rapid fertility of pestilence (think of the reproduction process of viruses, and bacteria. Watch whats going on in the world more closely and watch for the synchronicities. That listeria outbreak that came from Africa recently that had the media freaked out? That was one of her many doings. Don't be down about inactivity. Trust me, she is fucking powerful, and is growing.

Since I got some free time, I picked up this project again… Now I can't decide on the color of the winged blood drop. I cut out black and white, either would be sewn in with golden thread (twice, so you'd only see a single, complete line and the little swirl would be there as well. Connections at the wangs will go, too, just there for convenience for now.

What do you guys think. While, black, another color, something under the symbol?

They don't sell by the half yard(meter) there? I know there are some shops in the UK that do over ebay, so you could look there without getting raped on shipping. Usually $1-8 a half depending on the quality of the fabric. I like Kaufman for solid color cotton sheets like this , for example:

A yard and a meter are close to 1:1, I meant get a half meter, which isn't a that much excess really being only a foot and a half long and three feet wide. Surely more economical than shelling out for pillow cases, especially with EU markups.

Could even use the excess pink to put together a couple of small banners for your shrine.

Am I a terribly indecisive procrastinator? Perhaps.

All I could find where several meter long fabric rolls, but this here caught me eye.

Pretty. Also has the benefit that since the edges of the fabric tend to come apart a bit after I cut, the fully part hides it. But I'm not sure about the colors. The red looks much better on the photo, it's actually a very bright cherry red. Plus I do have red at home.

Now I know that pink was requested as background color, but the light pink also looks pretty good. So I shall ask again.
