I do Hapkido (even though my master is a hippie, we still learn the basics). I mostly do that for general fitness, though.

For defence, I always carry a concealed knife in my jacket, and I can draw and stab in <1s.

Wing chun is a rip off. I don't know how good its techniques are, but it's fucking expensive to climb the ranks because only the association is allowed to test you and the exams cost a couple thousand bucks quickly if you rise the belt ranks.

hey, Tdk instructor here, if you really want to learn the basics of Tdk just know that first and foremost its supposed to be a "military" martial art, meaning that mastering a few techniques and body conditioning is more important than flashy moves or breaking boards (modern day tdk is not such thing), if you are not interested in the sport or becoming a "full" time practitioner just remember that in traditional martial arts conditioning an technique are more important than some other aspects, if you are interested in learning self defense and want to truly cover your bases, start with boxing and some grappling art (wrestling or judo, then bjj), do that for a few years or at the least 6 months, then change style

REMEMBER THE ONLY THING YOU NEED IS TO KEEP PRACTICING, NEVER STOP

Find a Bikram Yoga place near you and go regularly. That's the one where it's 90 minutes in 105 degree Fahrenheit and 40% humidity. It will unfuck your posture real quick and get your whole body in insanely great shape. And everyone there is incredibly attractive.

Farmer's walks have fixed my posture. Any heavy objects will do, as long as you can hold them comfortably. The key thing is to push your chest up and squeeze your shoulder blades together. This will progressively undo your natural slouch, so you won't have to keep stopping to correct your posture like >>149741 recommended.

Do 3 sets of 100 ft walks, rest 3-5 minutes in between. It doesn't have to be a straight line btw, I walk around a table (~30 ft perimeter, so 3 laps and change satisfies). If you have the equipment, try to do linear progression with it. If not, just carry the heaviest stuff you've got and keep trying until you can get 3x100'. Some say to do it every day, I only do it after a workout.

I highly recommend book called '' Deskbound: Standing Up to a Sitting World 'by Kelly Starrett, Juliet Starrett. This book is fucking awesome! I read it a month ago, because my brother who is a physiotherapist recommended me to do so, and now my posture is really good. Thanks to that book you will understand why a lot of people have really bad posture and why sitting is your enemy! I really really really fucking really recommend Kelly Sttarret's books. Its very important to understand just how fewer calories the average body needs than what most people think. The body doesn't need anywhere near close as many calories as you probably consume. Really, its arguable that we even need 2000, let a lone 2500-3700 calories typical for most fast food meals. Food is a fuel for the body's metabolism. When we live to eat instead of eating to live, it becomes just as self-destructive as a any other substance abuse. Granted, if you're lifting and doing various other exercises, you will require more food to fuel yourself with; but know just how much you really need and don't over-do it.

>Consume fewer calories than you metabolize, lose weight

>Eat proper meals with proteins while lifting, gain muscle mass

>Drinking water with salts (aka Snake Juice) will keep your body metabolizing fat for fuel during the absence of food

Your knees get destroyed with it unless you have decent carpets. Consider some yoga mat, or even a towel at your knees, because this will fucking hurt otherwise, and not in a good way.

There seem to be some exercise variantions without your knees on the floor, but I am yet to try them.

What I'd be interested to know is how long after a fast/ crash diet your strength has fully recovered, because if it's just two months or so, sure why not? Why not fast? It has some health benefits on the immune system, metabolism, the liver. At least so I've heard.

This advice is wrong.

No one has any business doing bicep curls unless they can already do 15 full unassisted pull-ups.

If you can't do that, then focus on assisted pull-ups (rubber band or counterweight to help you do the full motion).

Of course do other back exercises too like rows (wide and narrow grip) and both grips on pullups as well.

Your biceps will get plenty big just from working your back. Most of those guys in the gym isolating their biceps don't know what they are doing.

Everything that you do, to help you develop your overall strength, benefits you in some way or another. There are super shortcuts, so I will go ahead and type up some tips if you really want to go that route. I'll include all the drug tips too (Steroids) since that seems to be what you want to know about.

SUPER WEIGHT LOSS

(FAST / EASY / SAFE / PAINLESS)

First, drop all the fat. The easiest, quickest way to do that is to see a weight-loss doctor and get a prescription of hCG (the drops that go under your tongue). He will also give you a prescription for a hunger pill like phentermine. It will be super cheap.

Using that drug you can safely and painlessly lose 1-2 pounds of pure fat every single day for a month or two straight. You will have to eat a low calorie diet, and you will have to drink bubble water the whole time (like Perrier) to keep your stomach full, but you will feel fine with no hunger suffering. (Due to the drugs and the bubble water). You will also piss a lot which is good because otherwise your body will salvage the fat metabolites and reincorporate them back into your body again as fat. Better to piss them out.

DIET WHILE ON hCG:

You'll have an egg for breakfast (or 3 egg whites), an orange for lunch, some broccoli and chicken (or fish) for dinner, and one other fruit snack like some strawberries. There are two methods

A.) the safest and more proven way to have a longer banana is mirco-tearing.
