I’m planning a family reunion and need recommendations for professional photographers who can handle both group shots and candid moments. Have you worked with any services that really nailed it? What should I look out for when booking?

I hired a local photographer for my daughter’s graduation party, and it worked out great. They were flexible and captured some amazing candid shots. I recommend checking community forums or social media groups for recommendations, it’s often better than going straight to big-name companies for smaller events.

For family events, larger companies like Lifetouch https://lifetouch-photography.pissedconsumer.com/review.html might come to mind since they’re well-known for school photos. While I haven’t used them for a reunion, I’ve seen Lifetouch photographers at school-related events, and they do a solid job with group coordination and quick turnaround on prints. That said, for more personalized shots, a freelance photographer or smaller studio might give you more creative flexibility.
