Diverging from Dr. Aphra working for Vader, the dumb thot has begun her independent work and has her own comic series now.

I think the comic is pretty good, and in the right place.

**I think it's a pretty interesting story they've got going.

Not gonna lie, Aphra is not as smart as she thinks. I'm waiting for the final showdown with 000 putting Aphra in her rightful place.

They've recently returned Evezan and Ponda, so the story is starting to get heated up.**

2-6, 9, 11, 12, 14, 19, 20 and onwards are good. I'll go through the brief below.

Issue 2-6 her dad revokes her college degree and she has to convince him to restore it.

Screaming citadel release is meh.

Issue 9, 000 is tired of being programmed to obey Aphra, so he messages Vader to come to their location.

Issue 11 and 12 Vader arrives and BT and 000 blackmail Aphra into freeing them, then leaves her.

Issue 14, and onward 000 abuses Aphra and forces her to work for him and BT.

Issue 19 is more lesbian shit, but 000 abuses her some more before her lover rescues her.

20 and onward her lesbian imperial girlfriend imprisons her. Begins her plot to escape.

22 Aphra gets raped by mindprobing tentacles. 000 realizes his memory has been encrypted by Aphra and is pissed.

24 her lesbian lover tells Vader, who is pissed. 000 also arrives, pissed. The new faggot Tam Posla arrives. Everyone is here to push Aphra's shit in for encrypting their files and being a cunt.

25 Vader arrives absolutely furious.

Aphra rapes her girlfriend with mind erasing tentacles. Vader kills BT and arrests her lover.

Posla returns, even more pissed and here to push her shit in.

000 kills Posla, abuses Aphra for the shit she's done, then enslaves her.

Evazan removes his disguise, kidnaps 000 and Aphra, and inserts a proximity bomb inside both of them.

I feel like I'm being gaslit on Star wars so I thought I'd ask if any one else felt the same way. I've been into nerd shit since the early 90s. I remember Star wars being a flash in the pan where no one cared much about it. The movies came and went as popular things do, games sold okay and books sold to the nerd crowd. It was a series which nerds kept afloat but it wasn't something colossal. It was no bigger than Nightmare on Elm Street or Friday the 13th. Big for it's time but nothing sustaining it.

The special editions were announced and made out to be this huge deal. Star wars was going to be back in the cinemas again and it was SUPER HYPE EPIC. But very few people gave a shit. They did okay and the nerd crowd went. It wasn't anything big. It definitely wasn't a legendary return or anything like that.

Then the prequels hit and episode 1 was every where. People went nuts for it because it was the real kick off point for CGI. The story didn't matter, people went for the effects and to enjoy the universe/darth maul. People didn't bitch or say it was bad because it fulfilled it's goals as a 90 minute CGI fest. Pod racing was cool, Maul was cool, Jedi were cool. Even the fish segment was considered pretty awesome.

Attack of the clones came out and it did okay. It wasn't any where near the hype of episode 1 but it was still hyped up. People went to see it to see more Star wars and be entertained with special effects again but special effects weren't as unique as episode 1s so it kind of slid down the hype a bit. People's biggest complaint was the movie ending just as the war kicked off.

Episode 3 didn't generate any where near as much hyper as episode 1 but it outdid episode 2. People wanted to see the jedi fight and while it was more of a "I'll pick it up on DVD" movie it was still well received.

A few years back I stumbled across the RLM videos tearing the prequels apart and it was news to me that people didn't like them. They had been pop corn flicks at the time and liked the same way Antman is now. It was like a whole revision of history was happening because people on the internet made shitty videos about them.

If that's the case then George's influence really helped us dodge a bullet. Vader/Anakin's arc was over, he'd sacrificed himself to protect Luke, defeat the Emperor, and redeem itself. Him coming back, as either a hero or a villain, would completely undermine that. The Emperor coming back on the other hand is completely in keeping with his personality.

I've been thinking about ways to spice up things on the board with the possibility of holding some kind of event on a weekly or monthly basis depending on its appeal. I've mostly just come up with two.

First idea is basically just holding a Hunger Games thread but with a Star Wars theme and outcomes. For example "Triclops gets his arms ripped off by a rogue wookiee assassin".

Second idea is hosting Podracing events. There are several ways this could work.

1: Another fucking hunger games thread but with podracing outcomes.

2: A thread where we all watch a video of a replay I've recorded of either the PS1 or PS2 podracing games. We all take bets/guesses on which NPC is gonna win before the video is posted. Winner gets to gloat or something.

3: Same as 2 except you all vote on which character I play as then watch me fail miserably or take home the gold.

I'm leaning towards the second idea (and its number 2 variant) at the moment, but I'll gladly take some suggestions. Personally I think 2 and the first idea would work way better if I could offer some sort of prize to the winner/one who picks the winning racer, but there's not really much I can do in terms of options or customization for an anon, and the fact that we're all anons means I can't plaster your name, make your name gold or some shit on the board somewhere. Although I guess I could make a custom flag for the winner based on whatever he chooses.

It's a reboot of the character that happens in a different continuity entirely. If you want to avoid anything Disney-related, just avoid the new Thrawn stuff and stick with the original. Stick with books that have the word "LEGENDS" on the cover or books that were released before April 25th 2014. All these books happen in the same timeline/continuity called the expanded universe and that also includes the Lucas saga 1-6. This board is essentially an "expanded universe" board so you'll mostly get EU recommendations.

I also recommend the Republic Commando series since that's what got me hooked.

Look up the Transformers wiki and the Crystal Gems. A few years ago the site got a bunch of Tumblr fags for admins. The worst comes from IDW comics which continues to introduce all sorts of weird shit like tranny Transformers who are obsessed with gender issues and would truly constitutes as love and sex in a Transformer Society. In the new Comics there is a new faction now made up of entirely "female" Transformers (and by that I mean manly-looking Autobots who just call themselves female with some more feminine ones in their ranks) who are colored pink and green. Theyre some kind of spirit vagina worshipping fire cult that have the ability to fuse into larger and more girlier or sometimes androgynous pink Transformers while they chant some sort of creed. All Transformer Wiki articles surrounding them are filled to the brim with obnoxious Steven Universe references that have begun to spread onto other articles unrelated to them. The admins also removed all the more sexist or perverted jokes from the wiki along with all jokes concerning kiss players to the point where they even threatened others who tried to undo such edits. Did I mention there are a bunch of trannies on there now? But even in the end one could just ignore the Transformers wiki but the new Comics are all trash while the movies are mind-numbing. I haven't seen the Bumblebee one but I have little reason to doubt it'll be just as bad as the last ones.

It's not as if similar things haven't happened in the real world, albeit without sapience. No need to have weird experimentation going on, it could just be the product of natural evolution. Well the whole thing about Celestials being responsible for the Corellia system was confirmed in old lore. The purpose of why they did it is unknown I think, but all the planets in there were moved there unnaturally and the species on those planets were not born there. They were relatively "recent" additions (ie less than a million years if I think). So the Selonians could have easily been insects that were genetically altered by either the Celestials or those assholes the Arkanians who messed around with a lot of species, turning even some Xextos into Quermians just to prove how fucking better they were than the primitives with no grander plan in mind unlike the Kwa or the Celestials. Hell even Rakata had better reasons for doing things than those Arkanian assholes.

I think the reasoning for the Celestials was to see if species from different worlds and sectors could co-exist, which they did. But if the Selonians were maybe Killiks, one can only wonder why they would change them, but thinking more on it now, I can easily see those smug Arkanians being behind that part. Fuck Arkanians honestly.
