>the biggest sin Plagueis makes is it confirms and legitimizes, rather than debunk and invalidates, the dumb as dogshit concept of Anakin's birth being set up by Palps and Las Plagas.

It's not that simple. Anakin is sort of a self-defense mechanism of the force that was destined to be unleashed if shit was about to go down (and since Anakin is part of a prophecy, that means Palpatine etc everyone are all part of some predetermined destiny we cannot understand). The time of his birth also coincides with the aggressive Sith rituals/meditation/experiments Palpatine and Plagueis were trying out. There are multiple reasons for Anakins birth and the whole event is structured in a way where everything fits into place. Anakin exists because he needs to. Palpatine exists because he needs to. Plagueis exists because he needs to. Everything happens because it needs to. The EU just makes it seem like there's an element of causality to all of it (as if you were observing the whole thing as an inhabitant of that fictional universe). The truth is though, everything is pretty much set in stone. Always in motion, the future is not. The future is set in stone, one way or the other. Anakin is a result of ancient Je'daii meme magic.

A more active villain throughout the prequels would have been an improvement. Maul, Dooku, or Grevious could have all filled such a role, but I'd like Grevious for it just because he isn't a sith lord/force sensitive. Going to disagree on having the Clone Wars start in episode 1 though. TPM could have used some tweaks but was overall a good intro into the prequel trilogy

I don't remember if Palpatine is said to feel guilty about his mother and the others though, but it's implied to have just been part of his berserking. The worst part about that shit is that it's so damn predictable. Any time I watch a movie now with some kind of gruff masculine-sounding character who's fully armored with a helmet, my immediate thought is "welp, that's obviously going to be revealed to be a woman at some point." And I'm right every time. These faggots seriously think that they're pulling some kind of revolutionary character decision when they do it, but that "OH WOW CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT GUY WAS A GIRL" reveal really loses all its steam when you can tell it's coming from the first appearance of a character. When I saw Solo and that character (Enfys Nest? really? I seriously don't remember any character's name from that movie) appeared, within two seconds I pegged her as a woman.

Attention any Hollywood idiots that may have stumbled into this thread: you're not being new, you're not being original, you're just reusing the most tired pandering in recent memory. You're not fighting the status quo, you are the status quo. Quit being boring.

Can someone provide an official timeline of when all the battles and events of the Clone Wars took place? Because I was going through all the material published in regards to that period and there's no way in hell that all of that shit took place in 3 years. Especially when you consider how many of these battles/major events involved Anakin and/or Obi-Wan.

It'd make more sense if it was like 5 or 6 years but sure as shit not 3.

They are coupled with a rebuttal from another rabbi. The purpose is to train the reader how to talk through this stuff in order to get elitists who don't know how to live in diaspora to STFU, and it's not a text that was designed to be user-friendly. Is there any point in liking Star Wars anymore? Call me a cynical shitlord, but I'm growing more and more disillusioned every day. We all know everything now is run by Disney and we know how bad that is, but even looking backward to the Expanded Universe I'm starting to see many of the "old guard" nowadays propagating pro-Disney support, shilling for Disney on social media, and pushing the same leftist oral diarrhea on the fans and the franchise, and lemme say it, I don't care what someone's politics are, but when they're shoved in my face? Nah man.

I just don't feel any enjoyment anymore. The future of Star Wars is a void, and looking back a lot of what used to be good isn't good now. Is there any good reason to not just give up and stop caring?

How's it feel to be outdone by Taung-aboos and a cult that didn't even have force powers? Those Pius Dea guys had galactic domination for a millenia more than you have. Face it, the Republic was already destined to become the Empire- with or without your involvement.

>How's it working out for you having muuns control your banks, Biths control your media, Jedi policing your "republic", wookies and trannydoshans chimping out in your streets, your children dying in battles with the Diversity Alliance, Sand people raiding your colonies, and your own people being prisoners on their own planets, cuck?

The outer rim and the unknown regions are unironically the best place to be. Get a giant orbital defense cannon, and the pirates won't bother with such a hard target, especially if you side with the Hutts or other rim powers. Besides, some of them are already showing an interest in the core worlds and Republic space, even some from the far outside.

Looks like the Bluray sells are dipping fast for The Last Jedi ever since the whole Kelly Tran controversy over Twitter where Disney majors like Rian Johnson, Chuck Wendig and even Mark Hamill started dissing fans and its been met with a lot of backlash. Even major sites are attacking the fans and SW is going through the grinder. What could this mean for Lucasfilm in the long run? Have they shot themselves in the foot with a 12 gauge?

Does anyone else look at Anakin and think "He's just like me?".

I get that it's alphabetical, but the default should be a neutral option. Ive posted under Alderaan without intending to.

And what could serve as a neutral flag then? Alderaan seems pretty neutral, especially since its fucking dead. Or should gungan be the default since its funnier? Or maybe the symbol of the stormtrooper corps since that's our fucking default name anyway.

Think he means neutral as in no flag at all. Personally, my vote is to keep it as is as it's produced some nice OC.

Looks like Paul S. Kemp following in the footsteps of Rian Johnson and John Boyega and whoever wrote Solo to shit on the fans. You would think Disney would put these guys on a leash (even if putting it on Boyega would conjure up racist imagery).

At this point, Disney is reminding me of Bioware right after they released Dragon Age 2. Same attitude towards fans and everything.

After Soylo tanked at the box office there's now a second script written for Ep 9.

>Starts 5 years later, Rey has turned the Galaxy against Kylo and the opening scene is his last stand.

>She takes him to Jedi temple at capital planet which has a secret dark temple below. She asks Kylo to join him, he realizes Snoke was a spirit who possesses people and is now possessing Rey. Why wrinkly guy from 8&9 didnt matter just a body. Rey is nobody, all her powers came from Snoke.

>Kylo escapes and much of the movie is a "fugitive chase" film. Luke's ghost helps him, revealing failure to be Kylos most important lesson.

>Phasma is back, leads fleet with Rey's lover Poe against her, amends with Finn.

>Final battle on Vader's castle world. Kylo led by awesome concept of Vader/Anakin ghost who changes based on shade/light. Learns "the balance". Forges Vader and blue Anakin/Luke sabres into one. Fights Rey until she has the power to purge Snoke from love for him. Rebuild grey Jedi order, establish galactic order with no central rule. Sets stage for whatever stories they want to tell next.

>Execs want Billy Dee back for a great cameo i wont spoil but nothing is negotiated. Will include specific "i don't roll that way" hetero comment.

Are the contracts already signed and everything? Depending on how IX does, they might rethink their decisions on that. Right? Presidential bid or no, surely Iger and the stockholders must be getting sick of Kennedy's shit by now.
