Grievous was the man, amongst those weak faggots he was the only onw who would fit in 40k

Grievous really got the bitch treatment in TCW. The most humiliating moment was when he was defeated by Jar Jar… I don't know why Filoni had such a hate boner for the guy.

I actually think they made Grievous too powerful in Genndy Wars. While the voice is, in my opinion, better than in Episode III, in the same film, he doesn't really present as much danger to say Obi-Wan as he did in the cartoon series. He murdered at least 4 Jedi and nearly murdered Ki-Adi-Mundi, who I would like to believe is on par or better than Obi-Wan in terms of fighting ability.
TCW did completely ruin his character, and it was such a missed opportunity too. I like to believe that he was a foil to Anakin, as both were warriors who fought to save their loved ones, but were tragically manipulated into becoming monsters trapped in cybernetic bodies. There was an amazing potential for Anakin to become obsessed with hunting Grievous to end the war, becoming more and more over the course of the show into the man he is in Episode III. But nope he is a complete joke and can't do anything not only undermining his character in TCW but also the actual film.

He definitely was too powerful, but so was everyone else in GW, and that could easily be toned down in other media. TCW toned the fights down a bit but they also made Grievous absolutely pathetic. They could've at least kept his personality and coolness factor. Instead he's just Dr. Claw+Skeletor but without even the likeability factor. Only time he ever won at anything in TCW was when he stabbed a pitiful mon calamari padawan and that was at the cost of his own house and everything he owned. He deserved better than being a joke. Even in ROTS he still had an element of coolness and his weakness there was explained in GW as being caused by Windu damaging his chest cavity. In TCW there's no reason given. He was apparently always a coward and a weakling who was weak due to being a cyborg and was just everyone's bitch

However the last one has the added bonus of being more expressive. Although everything is technically more expressive than Buckley's work.

Nice quads Thrawn, but we're missing a shipment of Ysalamiri. Some idiot Jedi kids keep pestering our customers with their stupid space magic. Skywalker should be more careful about who he trains.

What? Those are masks too. Grievous' species hide their faces behind war masks. His cyborg face plate was designed after his old mask.

He should have been in the prequels from the start honestly and had him better built up as a villain. You could probably have him slot into most of Dooku's roles and fit the boots just as easily if not better
the prequels as a whole should have kickstarted the clone wars in 1

A more active villain throughout the prequels would have been an improvement. Maul, Dooku, or Grevious could have all filled such a role, but I'd like Grevious for it just because he isn't a sith lord/force sensitive. Going to disagree on having the Clone Wars start in episode 1 though. TPM could have used some tweaks but was overall a good intro into the prequel trilogy
