Not that they ever gave any sense of scale on how much anyone actually has except for the "not rebels" being completely fucked by the end for some reason. Why "Rey" is the one is kind of dumb given she has no qualifications or training in PR for that "When has that stopped her before", or any real notable claim to fame aside from pushing some rocks. Does anyone even know she offed Snook specifically? Would expect that be something Leia would do, or Poe since he obviously would do something like that being that he is probably the defacto leader of whats left of them, since Carrie ain't coming back.

See, this is why I'd make the villain of Episode 9 Ben's Evil Twin Sister; Breha was Snoke's apprentice before him and how the wrinkly bastard got his hooks on Ben, but since her Force Powers were weaker and focused mostly on concealment and influence, she was going to get dumped in favor of her Brother's RAW POWAR.
Thus, she rakes up Luke's concerns on Ben's growing Darkness in order to provoke the climatic confrontation they have on that fateful night and slips away in the commotion.
Either Luke kills her brother or, as it happened, both are too soft to actually end it and assume the other killed her, turning her brother and family against one another and driving Ben into Snorkles waiting arms (Like he wanted her to do).
Now that her brother has killed the Supreme Douche, assumed control of the First Order, and reportedly did-in their Uncle THE Luke Skywalker in, all she has to do is assassinate their Mother and assume the role of the Savior of the Galaxy, rallying Leia's Resistance-turned-Rebellion and any Non-First Order Imperial Remnants willing to fight against her Brother's EVIL…
…The reality being she's just going to plunge the Galaxy into it's most destructive Civil War yet, all because everyone kept forgetting about her.

That mystery box bullshit is poisonous. rewrites and reshoots would have been needed to explain why the fuck Han and Leia would leave their kid in slavery. Family members? Nope. Trusted friend that owns a junk shop? Still pretty damn stupid, but once TFA was on the screen there would have been no logical sense she was Solo, although that would have made all of her and Han's scene actually make some sense, at least from Han's point of view. I never imagined Han being father of the year material, but I would never assume he would sell his daughter child daughter into slavery. Is she suppose to be the same age as Kylo? Well that's basically the driving force behind her character, she is always been eclipsed by Ben to the point many forget she even exist!

So Skywalker would never find her spawn? It was all part of the keikaku. She found the portal through time at some point on planet Bedlam and used some wolves as guinea pigs to see if that shit worked. It did and now everything had a wolf theme because wolves ended up at the dawn of time or some shit and Bedlam now became Lothal and the portal became that shitty nexus from Rebels. Then she went back in time to sometime just after the prequels and started manipulating shit a bit for her future keikau, but not too much so that Luke would still be born and she could get a personal revenge. Everything turns out a little bit differently, with events from the original timeline now being just legends born from the fractured and decaying memories of the now lost timeline, which leads to shit like the new comics, novels, Rebels, Rogue One and Solo happening, but the OT remains almost the same except shit that happened between the movies happened differently or were faggier, and the dianoga in the trash compactor is a hippie shaman now. Endor is over, and then Abby makes her move and starts making Luke's life worse and feeds him bullshit to ensure he fucks up his academy, almost kills Kylo and goes into exile, effectively alienating all his loved ones and making sure he never has children. She continues fucking around with the galaxy from the shadows and then makes Rey as her herald to earn the respect and affection of everyone around her now that Luke is out of the picture. She helps Snoke become the evil tyrant and with him as her puppet she makes the First Order to serve as the evil in the galaxy, then she plots everything so all the old heroes (her former foes) die out and only her spawn Rey is left to save the day. Once she becomes supreme hero of the galaxy and the acknowledged chosen one, she'll be beloved by all and thus Abby will be loved by all and have complete control of the galaxy from the shadows and from within Rey. All according to keikaku bullshit.

Well again, Luke never guessed she was evil and thought Kylo killed her along with all the other Padawans, Kylo thought Luke killed her first (because how did you not notice my evil sister, who introduced me to this shady Snoke fella, was EVIL!) and dubbed most of the Padawans to be his "Knights of Ren" when they left Luke's shitty Jedi camp.
Luke tells Leia and Han that Kylo must have killed everyone else, and while Han at least knew his daughter was the eviler of the twins he wouldn't suspect she faked her own disintegration.
Thus the Rebellion heroes Ben killed his sister, Kylo thinks Luke did it, Snoke had no reason to tell him otherwise, while Breha lurks in the shadows and waits to exact her REVENGE on all of them.
The fact of it is Han was closer to Breha and Leia to Ben, which made it easier for each sibling to kill their respective parent.

I say white space, because the idea is like drawing, where white space (or negative space) is used to give the illusion of the full picture of a subject, where in reality there isn't anything there. an example, is Fromsoft's games (the guys who did Demon/Dark Souls) which are heavy into this treatment, so they don't need to push so much time and money into providing a needlessly theatrical experience. Granted, video games and movies are a vastly different experience, but since both involve stories, the principle is identical.
The Mystery Box is the equivalent of that stupid art-award-winning exhibit that only got recognition because it was an empty room with the lights being turned on and off, the art of the mystery box is behind the scenes and something the viewer will never experience.

Even Rian Johnson himself admitted that there were no plans or a developed lore in place past TFA. It was all just mindless mystery box nonsense. The movies are not only trash, but the games are unimaginative and greedy lootbox scams and the Marvel comics are no better than the usual Marvel virtue signalling tripe with an SW sheen except they toned it down from a 9 to an 8 and had some interesting ideas that would've been used better by Dark Horse, like the comics focusing somewhat on the PT period, like the Vader comic (but that only works because there was barely anything that ever covered that period in the old canon). Hell, IDW recently got the rights to make SW comics and most of them are just shitty movie tie-ins that focus on crap characters like Rey, Poe, Finn and Rose, yet strangely enough, the comics that aren't based around those hacks (which sadly they are obligated to do stories for thanks to Marvel/Disney) are surprisingly good and campy, minus all the fighting censorship due to it being aimed at kids and the fact that they censored Amaiza's bodacious outfit (yeah, I said bodacious.
