As the MSM turns on President Joe Biden heading into the 2024 election, the Washington Post had an interesting piece on Thursday exploring a little-known connection between the Bidens and the du Pont family, which revolves around a 2001 case in which then-Sen. Joe Biden (D-DE) was voted in as a prominent new member of a prestigious Golf Club in Wilmington, Delaware, founded by a du Pont heiress.

That year, Biden, known for his "Middle-Class Joe" image and modest financial status, joined the exclusive Fieldstone Golf Club, a symbol of prestige and power. This move painted a contrasting picture: a politician aligned with working-class values, yet rubbing shoulders with the state's most affluent family, renowned for their chemical company empire.

At the time, Biden walked a delicate line. On one hand, he campaigned as an Amtrak-riding “Middle-Class Joe” striving to make ends meet, and accurately described himself as “one of the poorest members of Congress” — reporting $221,000 in combined income with his wife that year and $360 in charitable contributions. -WaPo

Elected to the Senate in 1972, he served in Congress alongside Rep. Pierre “Pete” du Pont IV, who later became Delaware’s governor and ran for president. Biden’s close adviser and Senate chief of staff, Ted Kaufman, had worked for DuPont as a plastics engineer.

In 1974, Biden spent $185,000 to buy what he called a “gorgeous ... enormous” mansion built six decades earlier by a du Pont family member in Greenville, Del. In particular, it seems appropriate to revisit a controversial 2009 plea deal offered by then-Attorney General Beau Biden to a du Pont heir accused of raping his own daughter when she was a toddler. Richards was originally charged with two counts of second-degree rape, which carried a minimum of 20 years behind bars. Instead, he pleaded guilty in 2008 to fourth-degree rape, which carries no minimum prison time.

The deal was offered to du Pont heir Robert H. Richards IV, who had confessed to the fourth-degree rape of his 3-year-old daughter. He was spared prison time, a decision that sparked public outrage and scrutiny. Disturbing footage from the early days of the Israel-Hamas war has become a topic of controversy over a month later, as one major Israeli newspaper strongly suggests it shows helicopter footage of Israeli forces firing indiscriminately on civilians "approximately an hour after the onset of the [Hamas] terror attack" on Oct. 7, while media fact checkers - including those dropping 'community notes' on X, insist the clip does not show the IDF firing on concertgoers - and that Israeli forces instead "mainly fired within Kibbutzim at the directive of IDF soldiers on the ground, precisely, as stated in the source, that they couldn't differentiate."

YNet's military correspondent Yoav Zitun described how the first helicopters over the scene were reliant on limited numbers of troops and security personnel on the ground, who were calling in targets to command centers utilizing cell phones and WhatsApp:

"As the pilots struggled to differentiate between terrorists and civilians, the decision was made to prioritize the immediate halt of the influx of Hamas terrorists and the potentially dangerous Gaza mobs breaching the border."

But what's clear from the now widely viewed on-the-ground Oct.7 videos which emerged almost in real time, masses of Israeli concert-goers were running, hiding, and seeking shelter in many directions. Others were whisked away on Hamas motorcycles as kidnappings ensued. But according to the report, Israeli pilots - unable to differentiate targets, unleashed heavy machine gun fire on people below, which may have included concert-goers.

Walmart has unveiled over 100 revamped stores - as part of a $9 billion investment over the past two years to upgrade more than 1,400 of its 4,700 locations nationwide.

The chain is devoting more of its floor and retail space to online grocery pickup and delivery in its modernized stores, and has added new 'dollar shops' next to checkout.

Walmart pharmacies have been moved towards the front of the remodeled stores, the company said in a statement Monday, with new private screening rooms for pharmacist consultations and services.

The retail giant reopened 117 stores in 30 states at a cost of half a billion dollars, in a bid to boost sales.

Hunter Hart, senior vice president at Walmart Realty said: 'Each store is designed to deliver a more modern shopping experience and improve the lives of our associates and customers from the moment they step into the new space.'

Alongside fresh exteriors, signs, more shopping carts and more grab-and-go food and beverage options, other changes include touch-and-feel displays for home goods such as bedding.

Ann Widdecombe has hailed Brexit Britain after Germany praised the UK and risked EU civil war by demanding a renewed trade agreement with Britain.

German finance minister Christian Lindner has sparked an EU civil war by inviting the UK to take new steps on a new and improved trade deal with the bloc.

Lindner even goes as far as to ask Britain to 'call Germany'.

The offer has sparked outrage from some in the EU who say Germany cannot make this offer without member agreement.

Ann Widdecombe commenting on the bid to woo Brexit Britain told Mark Dolan on GB News:" I think it's missing us quite considerably. I think it's missing our contribution. I think it's just missing our general participation.

"But tough luck. And what strikes me about this is Germany wouldn't, out of the goodness of its heart, make offers to Britain for Britain's sake. "This is Germany saying, Oh dear, you know, we're not doing so well out of this Brexit business. Perhaps we should try to swing it a little more our way. I mean, that is effectively what's going on. And yes, we should all be laughing at that."

She added: "My actual fear in all of this is not Germany, it's not the EU. It's Keir Starmer, who has said in terms, and this is probably what has encouraged Germany.

"He said in terms, that he wants to negotiate a better deal. Now, a better deal actually means, the single market or the customs union or further regulation or whatever it might be.

"It's not going to work solely in our favor. We haven't got a particularly good deal at the moment. That's not make it any worse."

British teenage girls feared kidnapped in Gaza as Rishi Sunak confirms six UK nationals killed by Hamas

Two British teenage sisters are feared to have been kidnapped and are among 10 UK nationals still missing following Hamas’ attack on Israel.

Rishi Sunak on Monday confirmed at least six Britons have been killed in the “progrom”, as he told MPs he was increasing aid to the Palestinian people by a third.

Two teenage sisters Noiya, 16, and Yahel, 13, are among those still missing, the BBC reported.

The sisters, whose surname has not been released, are thoughtt to have been kidnapped from Kibbutz Be’eri by Hamas militants before being taken into Gaza, according to the BBC. Their mother is reported to have been killed.

The British family of their mother said she was “a beloved daughter, sister, mother, aunt and friend who enriched the lives of all those lucky enough to have known and loved her”.

“She lived a beautiful life and will be sorely missed by the heartbroken family and friends she leaves behind,” the BBC reports.

The Prime Minister said on Monday the UK must “support absolutely Israel’s right to defend itself” as it targets Hamas, as he called for the immediate release of the around 200 hostages taken by the militant group.

But he also recognised in a Commons statement that the Palestinian people are “victims of Hamas too” as he announced an extra £10 million of aid funding.

With the families of some of the missing watching his statement in Parliament, Mr Sunak recounted that more than 1,400 people were murdered, more than 3,500 wounded and almost 200 taken hostage in Hamas’s attack.

“The elderly, men, women, children, babes in arms, murdered, mutilated, burned alive,” he continued.

“We should call it by its name: it was a pogrom.”

‘Humans can’t live without war’, Christian patriarch laments

The world should still strive to minimize the effects of hostilities, the leader of the Russian Orthodox Church has said

Armed conflicts appear to be an integral part of humanity’s existence, the chief bishop of the Russian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Kirill, said on Thursday. That does not mean the international community cannot or should not seek to minimize the human costs and suffering associated with them, he said at the religious festival ‘Faith & Word’ being held in Moscow Region.

“Unfortunately, one has to admit that humanity appears to beunable to live without war,”the patriarch said, addingthat it is a part of “the corrupt human nature.”People around the world should still strive to overcome those destructive tendencies, the head of the Russian Orthodox Church believes.

”We can and [we] must minimize… harm resulting from hostilities, if they do break out,” the patriarch stated. His words came amid the continuing conflict between Moscow and Kiev and a fresh escalation between Israel and the Gaza-based Palestinian Hamas militant group.

Kirill then said that peoples that share the same faith and beliefs have an even stronger obligation to do so. The church leader was particularly referring to Russians and Ukrainians, who have been locked in a protracted struggle lasting for more than a year and a half. Those two peoples “come from a single baptismal font,” he added.

His speech came just a day after the Ukrainian parliament approved in the first reading a bill aimed at essentially banning the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC) over its links to Moscow.

The U.S. conducted a high-explosive experiment at a nuclear test site in Nevada hours after Russia revoked a ban on atomic-weapons testing, which Moscow said would put it on par with the United States. Wednesday's test used chemicals and radioisotopes to "validate new predictive explosion models" that can help detect atomic blasts in other countries, Bloomberg reported, citing the Department of Energy. "These experiments advance our efforts to develop new technology in support of U.S. nuclear nonproliferation goals," Corey Hinderstein, Deputy Administrator for Defense Nuclear Nonproliferation at the National Nuclear Security Administration, said in a statement.

Adding to the mystery is another bombshell that relates to the events of 9/11. A well-known Twitter account, ‘WallStreetApes,’ recently shared a revealing post and video from Glenn Beck. The post highlights the media’s glaring silence on a document endorsed by 11 former FBI agents and two former CIA agents. This document alleges that the CIA was not only aware of the 9/11 hijackers but actively recruited them and hid their plans from the FBI.

Wow, this news might come as a shock, but believe it or not, some folks have been saying this for decades.

The 82-year-old alleged serial rapist attended his court date sporting a suit with no tie, tinted glasses and with his long white hair tied back.
