When you are asked a question, why don't you try answering the question?

People are not stupid. We can tell when you're dancing around the issue instead of answering the question.

When you're asked, are people better off now or doing Donald Trump's president presidency? When you're asked about the border or your policies on immigration, answer the question.

- We don't care about your middle class upbringing

- We don't care that your mama had to save up to buy a house

- We don't care about your summer job at McDonald's

- We don't care about the lawns of the neighborhood that you lived in and how everybody took care of that lawn

That does not matter to me, and it doesn't matter to anybody else. I want you to answer the question because if people my mind is already made up too, Kamala, because I can see right through you and I know that you're fake.

But for somebody else whose mind is not made up, let me just help you out. Answer the question so that they can decide between you and your opponent. I don't know if you're just trying to paint him as the villain and try to skate by to be the like you, the hero or the nice person. We don't care about that because being a hero and voting for the nice person is not what pays the bills. You understand what I'm saying?

We can see through you. And now that fake black accent that you keep doing, girl, you need to stop because you know good and well that you ain't got no black accent. You know good and well that you was born in Sam you from San Francisco and in Canada. Where you get that black accent from? Stop doing that trying to be relatable.

This does not make you relatable. It makes you look fake. And those of us like me, we can see through that. We can see through that.

We can see through every interview that you do that instead of being that set of answering the questions that are on the minds of the millions of American people who have the power to elect you to the highest office in the land, you're dancing around the issue, and you wanna talk about how you was born a middle class kid and how your mother had to save up to buy a house.

In response Chicago's teachers have been instructed to pass every illegal alien with at least a 70% - this sort of 'social promotion' is robbing these children of an education. God only knows what these children went through to get across the border - now they're being robbed of an education. If we're not going to give them a basic education we ought to send them and their parents back home. The fact is that these kids will likely remain in the United States for the rest of their lives - we ought to be teaching them to read, write, and do basic math.

Perhaps recognizing how offensive such ties will be to voters concerned over future terrorist attacks on this country by radical Muslims professing allegiance to Sharia law, the Clinton campaign on Monday tried to downplay Ms. Abedin’s involvement in the Journal and the Muslim Brotherhood.

The Clinton surrogate group Media Matters claimed predictably there was “no evidence” that Ms. Abedin or her family had ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, and that Trump campaign staffers who spoke of these ties were conspiracy theorists.

To debunk the evidence, Media Matters pointed to a Snopes.com “fact-check” piece that cited as its sole source… Senator John McCain. This is the same John McCain who met Libyan militia leader Abdelkarim Belhaj, a known al Qaeda associate, and saluted him as “my hero” during a 2011 visit to Benghazi.

An irate McDonald’s customer took to Reddit to voice their dissatisfaction with the chain’s updated presentation of its “large” French Fries.

On Thursday, u/CrewCamel posted a photo showing a Big Mac container and what appears to be McDonald’s patented paper bag of small fries. “Here’s what a “large fries” looks like at my McDonald’s in 2024,” the post read. “I ordered a $14 Big Mac meal in the SF Bay Area and received this.”

Many users suggested the restaurant had mixed up the order, but they didn’t seem to notice that “Large Fries” was stamped on the bag in large red letters. “The fact that it's on there at all possibly means that people were ordering large fries, getting this, and then complaining that they got the wrong size afterward,” u/AsherFischell said. “Yep. That is EXACTLY why that is there,” u/DoublyTheWhale concurred.

For those thinking that the modified size was exclusive to California, think again. “I did that at the McDonald’s at O’Hare airport,” one commenter revealed. “Couldn’t believe that was a large.”

While the true reason for the revised packaging remains unclear, it could be part of the company’s efforts towards compostable packaging. McDonald’s didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment from Men’s Journal seeking clarification about the new bags and the regions in which they are in use. Whether the amount of fires inside has changed, as customers claim, was not immediately clear.

It seems the change has actually been in effect in certain areas for some time, but it’s only recently come to consumers' attention. A Reddit thread from two years ago claimed that “McDonald’s is reducing the size of their fries,” offering a picture of a bag stamped with “Medium Fries” as proof.

A thread posted six months ago to r/shrinkflation appears to offer some context for the switch. “They just changed their fry containers from the red cardboard containers to paper fry bags like their small fries. The large is just slightly bigger than the small…wayyyy less fries when poured out than even an underfilled large [box]. Claim that it’s for sustainability. Saves them shipping weight and conveniently decreases large and medium fry sizes by 30–40 percent by the looks of it.”

Republicans teased legislation that would require proof of citizenship to register to vote.

The vote will take place this week and would keep the federal government open through December 20.

Luis Armando Albino was 6 years old when he was abducted from a park in West Oakland where he had been playing with his older brother in 1951. Now, more than 70 years later, Albino has been found.

The Mercury News first reported this week that Albino's niece in Oakland, using DNA testing and newspaper clippings — and with assistance from police, the FBI and the Justice Department — found her uncle living on the East Coast.

Albino is a retired firefighter and Marine Corps veteran who served two tours of duty in Vietnam, and himself a father and grandfather, according to his niece, Alida Alequin, a 63-year-old Oakland resident who found Albino and reunited him with his family.

Albino and five of his siblings, brought by their mother from Puerto Rico, had just moved to Oakland the summer before his abduction in February 1951.

He was playing with his 10-year-old brother, Roger, at Jefferson Square Park at 7th Street and what is now Martin Luther King Jr. Way near the family’s home when a woman lured him away by promising to buy him candy, according to coverage by the Oakland Tribune at the time. She then flew him to the East Coast, where he eventually ended up with a couple who raised him as their son, Alequin said.

In June, Albino reunited with his family in California. Alequin recounted her family's experience and her search for Albino. She said that Albino's mother, Antonia, had always thought about Albino up until her death in 2005. She kept a newspaper clipping of the article about his kidnapping in her wallet, and a photo of Albino hung in the living room, Alequin said.

"She always had hope that he would come home," Alequin told The Times.

In 2020 Alequin took a DNA test for fun, and it resulted in a 22% match with the man who eventually turned out to be her long-lost uncle. But she didn't realize immediately that it could be him.

Earlier this year while reminiscing about the family with her daughters, Alequin had a spark of inspiration: "I started to name all my mom's siblings, and when I got to the youngest, Luis, the baby, I paused in the middle of the sentence. I can't explain what I felt but I said, 'I don't think this person I found on Ancestry was some half-brother like I first thought. I think he was the brother that was kidnapped.' "

She said that evening she and her daughters "started searching the internet like crazy." They found pictures that made them sure the man they were looking at was their missing uncle.

Alequin took the information to Oakland authorities, who agreed to look into the lead. With the help of law enforcement, Alequin persisted in her search and her uncle was eventually located on the East Coast.

He provided a DNA sample that proved his identity.

When Albino reunited with his family in California, "it was a lot of long tight hugs and tears, and then we sat down and we just talked," Alequin said.

Albino and his brother Roger, who had been there the day he was kidnapped, bonded over their experience in the military, Roger having been an Air Force veteran. They spoke about their childhood, and their lives after the abduction, she said.

Alequin said that her uncle had some memories of the abduction and his trip to the East Coast, but when he questioned adults in his life, they did not give him answers. Albino wants to keep some of his experiences private and didn't want to speak to the media, she said.

Albino's brother, Roger, died shortly after they reunited this summer. Albino is planning another visit to California next year, Alequin said.

Nothing says 'Merica more than Air Force officials providing an update on the Northrop Grumman B-21 Raider program. The latest update shows the stealth bomber is undergoing continued flight testing, including a "fatigue testing campaign." This bomber is slated to replace the backbone of the USAF's flexible global strike capability, comprised of the Rockwell B-1 Lancer and the Northrop B-2 Spirit bombers.

On Wednesday, Gen. Thomas Bussiere, commander of the Air Force Global Strike Command; Maj. Gen. Jason Armagost, commander of the Eighth Air Force and Joint-Global Strike Operations Center; William Bailey, director of the Department of the Air Force Rapid Capabilities Office; and Thomas Jones, president of the Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems sector, were all panelists at the Air and Space Force Association's Air, Space, and Cyber Conference.

The group provided crucial updates on the B-21 program:

Bailey and Jones provided updates about how the B-21 program is progressing.

"We're really starting to strike up quite a cadence [and] generate two flight test flights in a given week," Jones said. "When we started this journey, we made a vow that we were going to design this system to be a daily flyer. It's been a phenomenal year of progress, and we hope to continue that through the next year."

The panelists also described a significant milestone in which the B-21 completed its static test on the G-1 asset, a ground-based test article used to evaluate the structural integrity of the aircraft. This test was essential to "confirming the structural design of the aircraft is sound and validated confidence in the digital models," Bailey said.

The aircraft is now going through a fatigue testing campaign.

Armagost discussed how the B-21 program is preparing for the delivery of the aircraft to Ellsworth Air Force Base, South Dakota, to include laying the foundation for AFGSC squadrons to be sufficiently equipped, trained, and certified for aircraft delivery, while Bailey spoke to the teamwork that has been essential to the program's development.

"We're very clear as a team what the priorities are day after day," Bailey said. "That collaboration between operators and acquirers has been a key component of this success … that has got to be a consideration [in Great Power Competition]."

Bussiere addressed current strategic threats posed by adversaries and the necessity of the bomber force, and the future capabilities the B-21 will provide, to keep pace with those threats.

"We are the free world's only bomber force. We're probably not going to see a decreased demand signal from our regional combatant commands on bomber task forces," Bussiere added. "That demand signal, in my opinion, is only going to go up in the years ahead. As we transition from legacy to new, the B-21 fleet will provide great comfort to our allies and should provide great pause to any potential adversary."

He added, "Nobody on the planet can do what we're doing right now. Nobody on the planet can build an exquisite, technologically-advanced platform like the B-21, and quite frankly, nobody on the planet can hold at risk what we can hold at risk at a time and place of our choosing."

Bailey echoed Bussiere's comments about the adaptability of the B-21 systems, which were "designed with flexibility in mind."

"Agility and flexibility — they can't just be buzzwords. These are the kind of things that you need to be able to demonstrate over time. Why? Because it's going to be changing on you, and we've had the benefit of

The leader of the Democratic minority in the House of Representatives, Hakeem Jeffries, said that his party would consider the proposal.

"Congress is now on a bipartisan path to avoid a government shutdown that would hurt everyday Americans," Jeffries stressed.
