Yeah, Bandcamp is scummy shit, most likely copyright infringement is the reason, but the "problematic" edgy content might be another. One thing I know is that both Nile's and mine were deleted at the same day. They got in their terms of service that they can terminate you any time for any reason and they don't have to tell you why, which they love to copy & paste if you plan to complain them in an email (nowadays they don't even reply).

Happened to another shitpost project of me and my friends' 2 months before ARF that has been running since 2016-ish, a whole lot tamer than ARF both in edgyness and copyright shit, so I don't really know what makes them delete, maybe the lack of revenue?

I gave the BO account to one of the ARF people. I haven't really been an imageboard person for a few years now so now seem like a good time to stop being the BO. Bye or whatever.

1. Keep posts music related. Music critics/journalism are okay.

2. Self promotion doesn't deserve its own thread. Otherwise, the board would be flooded with it. Post your Bandcamp stuff in the Bandcamp thread here >>34317 and your SoundCloud stuff in the SoundCloud thread here >>97953. If it isn't on Bandcamp or SoundCloud, post it in either of those threads anyway. They tend to be the only ones used frequently enough to warrant threads.

3. If you want to ask a question but it won't generate discussion, post it in the questions that don't deserve their own thread thread here >>80813. This is to stop the board from being littered with threads nobody wants to reply to. This includes identifying the song in a webm/mp4, identifying the genre of something, and requests. This list will grow and shrink the more users complain about things. Complaints about moderation or suggestions for the board don't deserve their own threads either, unless they're extremely important. They go in the meta thread here >>79867.

4. NSFW album covers [including gore] etc are okay, but put them under spoilers.

5.All lolicon/shotacon or anything that breaks the dost test is banned

6. No duplicate threads or spam.

I just started really getting into synthwave music.

Thus far these are some of my favorite tracks:

The Midnight - 'Days of Thunder' and 'Gloria"

(Embed)

Le Cassette - 'This Is All We Know'

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rVpN7JVMQKg

Thought Beings - 'Hazy'

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rwC1f5J3Tcg

Timecop1983 - 'Let's Talk'

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mkQ6H21QBXE

What are some good synthwave songs you would recommend?

Songs were written under the direct influence of early PiL, Killing Joke, Bauhaus & Swans to name a few. So pathetically lo-fi in sound "quality" (tracks were laid down on an 8-inch/4-track cassette deck, meaning the presence of actual tape-hiss) that it makes most Black Metal sound high fidelity by comparison. Total shit in fact. Avoid at all costs! Don't say you weren't warned.

Blissfully distorted, angst-ridden industrial sounds coming to you straight from the death factory. Recorded under the influence of:

>Throbbing Gristle

>DAF

>Big Black

Amongst others. If anon were to be forced at gunpoint to listen to one single, stand-alone track & one track only, I would suggest "Khiva". The others: Take 'em or leave 'em. That is all. End of transmission.

first of all, i cannot stress enough i dont want a link to what im about to ask about. i may be an emotional masochist, but this crosses a new line that im not willing to cross, and also may be highly illegal material. im only here to ask for any information anyone may have on this.

me and my friend were talking about "everywhere at the end of time", an ambient/noise album about the stages of dementia (which is now one of my favorite projects.) he brought up a couple of other albums, one of which being "buyers market" by peter soto and the other one without a name.

he said the the album sampled child porn. now, this peaked my morbid curiosity, not enough to listen (and im sure that i could never find a link to this on the surface web anyways, and im not in the slightest interested in listening to the material itself), but i want to know more about this album. i wanna know things like what exactly its about, who made it and what this sampling of child porn is really meant to represent or if its just something meant to shock. is there anyone here that can give me any information at all?

everywhere at the end of time is just a showing stages of dementia and for those having the sampled cp need to have sounds of kids, which isn't really there in the album.

Also if you just look up Buyer's Market, you find out that it's mostly interviews with sexual abusers, murder, serial killers, and Pedos, but i'm sure the album itself doesn't have that type of stuff. I think your friend is just misremembering or saw a rumor due to the subject matter.

That's basically the whole loop memes used to go the previous decade. Once normalfags co-opted it, it was dropped.

Sadly nowadays nobody can't create original content so they end up dragging a meme into unfathomable ways. This has happened with frog and sadman, they're the best example of this.
