Not sure what is happening in France, but a quick search shows that in 2017 Pavel Durov was selected as a WEF Young Global Leader. Since then, his name has been scrubbed from the WEF and YGL websites.

A South Korean research team analyzing semen samples from a healthy man who took 3 doses of the Pfizer shot in 2022 has discovered nanobots living amongst his sperm.

This very recently filed whistleblower complaint is to stop the federal government from grossly violating the U.S. constitution when it comes to to conducting U.S. elections by mail-in ballots. It is in direct violation of the constitution. This was filed in federal court last 24 and the docket # can be found on the picture for those interested in reviewing this vital filing. For instance, the U.S. Postal Service should NOT/NOT be in the business of handling ballots (PERIOD!). This will likely go to the USSC because lower courts do not have the courage to deal with it, but it will change the way we vote in America. We have to fix this grossly corrupted election system.

Last week, the parents of 150 students from Stoughton Public Schools, a school district outside of Boston, were informed that a lack of funding and a shortage of buses and drivers have left them without school bus service. According to the Boston Herald, the news comes at the same time that the state has started paying for the buses of students of more than 200 migrant families. A letter sent to parents from Superintendent of Schools Joseph Baeta read, “Finalizing the bus routes and the list of students riding the bus is one of the signs the start of the school year is near.”

I. When Did The Crisis Begin?

Lots of writers in the resistance try to figure out when the crisis began – the crisis being that global monopoly capitalism is trying to enslave the entire developed world via chronic illness.

Obviously, the problem began well before SARS-CoV-2 was released in 2019.

Many people in the Resistance point to the 1986 National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act as the start of the crisis. But the Central Intelligence Agency (“CIA”) has been running the country at least since the assassination of John F. Kennedy in 1963.

Perhaps the crisis began when the US imported Nazi and Japanese bioweapons scientists after World War II?

Others pinpoint the start of the crisis to the creation of the Federal Reserve and the imposition of the federal income tax in 1913 that enabled the US to become a modern global empire.

I’ve argued before that covid is just the continuation of global conquest, colonisation, and empire that began in 1492.

Perhaps the problem began when we stopped being hunter-gatherers and first became farmers (to make beer, according to one leading theory).

When one works through a wide range of different possible points of origins one can make a strong case that the problem goes back to original sin. It’s the flaw that is unique to humans amongst all of the other animals – we are conscious of the difference between good and evil and yet we often choose evil. I actually think this is the correct answer – the problem goes all the way back to the problem of sin itself.

Footage shared online shows armed officers and a police dog approaching an apartment block on North End Road around 9.30pm. Seconds later, a series of loud bangs and bright flashes erupted as the team forced entry into the building.

Using a critical nickname for U.S. President Joe Biden, journalist and podcast host Emma Vigeland said on social media Friday, "Genocide Joe's swan song is to institutionally entrench our support for Israel and make it as difficult as possible to disentangle it, which the old fool views as romantic and righteous."

Over the past 10-plus months, the Biden administration has approved more than 100 arms sales to Israel worth billions of dollars. Earlier this month, the administration greenlighted a new $20 billion arms package for Israel.

The announcement of the package—which includes dozens of F-15 fighter jets, tens of thousands of 120mm mortar shells, over 32,700 tank shells, and 30 advanced missiles—came just days after Israeli forces used at least one U.S. bomb in an airstrike on a Gaza school where forcibly displaced Palestinians were sheltering, killing more than 100 people including women and children.

As criticism mounted over Israel's assault and siege on Gaza—which has left a reported more than 144,000 Palestinians dead, maimed, or missing and has flattened most of the coastal enclave while stoking deadly famine and the spread of preventable diseases including polio—Resnick helped expedite the flow of U.S. arms to the key Middle Eastern ally.

She also worked with the hardline government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who International Criminal Court Prosecutor Karim Khan wants to arrest for alleged war crimes including "extermination," to allow private citizens to donate equipment to the Israel Defense Forces.

Annelle Sheline, a former State Department official who resigned earlier this year over Biden's support for Israel amid a war for which the key ally is on trial for genocide at the International Court of Justice, told HuffPost that Resnick's appointment "reflects a doubling down on the administration's determination to continue to provide unconditional material support for Israel's genocidal campaign against civilians in Gaza."

American University of Beirut history professor Zeead Yaghi decried the Biden administration's appointment of "a literal arms dealer."

Last month, the Biden administration ended a two-month pause on the shipment of 500-pound bombs to Israel despite the frequent use of U.S.-supplied weapons by Israeli forces to commit alleged war crimes and genocide in Gaza. Biden has suspended transfers of 500- and 2,000-pound bombs manufactured by aerospace giant Boeing over fears the devastating munitions would be used in airstrikes on Rafah, the southern Gaza city where more than a million Palestinians had sought refuge.

Israel has dropped at least hundreds of 2,000-pound bombs—which the U.S. military avoids using in civilian areas because they can destroy entire city blocks—on Gaza, including in an October 31 attack on the densely populated Jabalia refugee camp that killed more than 120 civilians.

The U.S. is by far Israel's biggest arms supplier, providing around 70% of Israeli arms imports, according to the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute.

Fresh Tiger Stripes on Saturn's Enceladus

Do underground oceans vent through canyons on Saturn's moon Enceladus? Long features dubbed tiger stripes are known to be spewing ice from the moon's icy interior into space, creating a cloud of fine ice particles over the moon's South Pole and creating Saturn's mysterious E-ring. Evidence for this has come from the robot Cassini spacecraft that orbited Saturn from 2004 to 2017. Pictured here, a high resolution image of Enceladus is shown from a close flyby. The unusual surface features dubbed tiger stripes are visible in false-color blue. Why Enceladus is active remains a mystery, as the neighboring moon Mimas, approximately the same size, appears quite dead. An analysis of ejected ice grains has yielded evidence that complex organic molecules exist inside Enceladus. These large carbon-rich molecules bolster but do not prove that oceans under Enceladus' surface could contain life.

On social media and Fox News, Trump applauded Kemp for his leadership in Georgia — a complete turnaround from the years of bashing and ridicule over the governor’s refusal to help him overturn the 2020 election results.

Moments earlier, Kemp appeared on the network, telling host Sean Hannity that he supports Trump and will do whatever he can to make sure Georgia’s 16 electoral votes go to the Republicans.

“We gotta win,” Kemp told Hannity. “We gotta win from the top of the ticket on down. We need to send Donald Trump back to the White House. We need to retake the Senate. We need to hold the House.”

This time last year, or even a few weeks ago, mutual respect between the governor and Trump would have sounded far-fetched to Republicans in Georgia. The former president supported a primary challenger against Kemp in 2022, though the governor sailed to victory with nearly 74% of the vote.

More recently, Kemp scolded the former presidentfor resorting to “petty personal insults” about his wife in a Truth Social post on Aug. 3, in which Trump said, “I don’t want her Endorsement and I don’t want his.” Kemp warned Trump to stop “attacking fellow Republicans, or dwelling on the past,” and “leave my family out of it.”

How the easing of tensions will affect Republicans’ chances of winning Georgia remains to be seen. The governor could use his vast political organization to spur GOP turnout. So far, Kemp’s organization is only operating in a handful of state legislative contests.

But it has been welcomed by Republicans worried that the feud would help sabotage a winnable state for Trump.

“A unified party in Georgia has a much better chance of winning. Sounds obvious, but it wasn’t totally obvious to Trump until last night,” said Republican strategist John Feehery, who called the warm words “good enough.”

Though Trump and Kemp “don’t love each other,” Feehery told the Washington Examiner, they have a shared interest in putting it out of public view.

“What changed is Trump is now sympatico with Kemp, which I think makes Kemp a more credible messenger to Trump supporters in Georgia,” Feehery said….

“Georgia Republicans have learned the lesson before that Trump’s attack-anybody-even-my-own-side style can cost them seats,” Doug Heye, a former spokesman for the Republican National Convention, told the Washington Examiner. “Not doing that should be blindingly obvious, but not with Trump.”

But Alec Poitevint, a former Georgia Republican Party chairman who is involved with Kemp’s political group, saidTrump had until the fall to make amends.

“There’s a historical basis about elections that say that once you get past Labor Day, you need to have things in order. And I think what’s going on here is, Republicans in Georgia, we’re getting our house in order,” said Poitevint, who told the Washington Examiner that he heard about a “positive approach” to Kemp and Trump’s relationship last week and received confirmation of the truce on Monday, ==before the pair publicly extended the olive branch on Thursday.

Poitevint saidhe was happy to see two people whom he has an “extremely high opinion” of finding a “different level of purpose here” and predicted it will put Democrats on edge in what used to be a reliably Republican state.

The former president will likely need to rely on Kemp’s appeal with independent and conservative voters turned off by Trump’s rhetoric.

“I can assure you that having the Trump organization and the Kemp organization working together creates a real problem for Democrats, because we can deliver Georgia with that combination,” Poitevint said.

A nail in the coffin for Democrats?

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) had been one of the leading voices among Georgia Republicans imploring Kemp and Trump to fix their relationship as the 2024 election grew closer. He urged the men to “repair the damage” on Fox News Sundaylast month with the White House at stake.

In a post to X on Thursday praising Kemp’s “full-throated endorsement” of Trump, Graham called game over for Democrats.

“To my Democratic friends: As the song goes, this is The Night The Lights Went Out In Georgia…for you,” Graham wrote. “Well done, Governor @BrianKempGA.”

Both sides of the aisle acknowledge that the truce will help Republicans, but it is unclear how much. Democratic strategist Brad Bannon said other factors are at play that keep Georgia trending blue, including Democratic support from black voters, who make up over 30% of the state’s population, according to the 2020 census.

“Yeah, I think it helped Trump a little bit,” Bannon said. “Whether it will help him enough to recover the state, I think that’s a question mark.”

Trump and establishment wings of GOP at peace — for now

At the Republican National Convention, a sense of unity and camaraderie was in the air as Republicans gathered to formally nominate Trump and Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH) as their presidential ticket.

It was a stark contrast to sentiments within the party over the last year, as Congress has been plagued with GOP spats overspending, the House speakership, foreign aid, and endorsements of candidates other than Trump.

Democrats for the longest time have just needed to sit back and watch as Republicans fought among themselves. However, Democrats experienced their own fracturing when a wave of lawmakers called on President Joe Biden to step aside. After nearly a month of contention following Biden’s lackluster June 27 debate, Biden withdrew his candidacy and endorsed Harris to succeed him. Harris was formally nominated on Wednesday.

Now, with both parties seemingly united, Republicans in particular will need to keep a handle on the infighting, not just for the White House but also to win majorities in the House and Senate.

Jamie Palmer, chair of the Floyd County GOP, said a truce between Kemp and Trump will help reconcile the party, particularly between the establishment and Trump wings of the GOP.

“This is really big for the Republican Party, to see those two together,” Palmer told the Washington Examiner.

Palmer, whose county is represented by firebrand Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), said he would love to see his congresswoman onstage with Kemp, Trump, and Vance.He said Kemp and Vance continuing to show they are on the same page about the election will be imperative for get-out-the-vote initiatives.

“You know, people may have their issues personally with President Trump and some of his actions, but this is bigger than that,” Palmer said. “This is getting back control of this country, and I think it leads with President Trump and his agenda. I think Kemp’s help with that, the state of Georgia is going to be very key.”

Poitevint echoed Palmer, arguing that the 2024 election in Georgia will come down to policy, and a Kemp-Trump partnership will help communicate that message to voters, even to Democrats and independents who have “walking around sense.”

“The Harris ticket is ultimately not in line with the normal Georgians,” Poitevint said. “And I think that Kemp and Trump working together, that we will help define who she is and and what she stands for, and that’ll be effective.”

Not all Republicans think the Republican Party is as unified as it could be.Buddy Parker Jr., an RNC state delegate, said Kemp and Trump need to do some appearances together in order to show the state they are burying the hatchet.

Parker said the truce did and did not surprise him; an avid Trump supporter, he said he appreciated Kemp’s work for Georgia but thought the governor could have done more when it came to past elections and voting integrity — something the state has wrestled with for a long time. He was not happy with Trump, though, when the former president went after Kemp’s wife, arguing you “don’t put your dirty laundry out there for everybody to see.”

However, Parker said, now is not the time to dwell on grievances.

“If we’ve got problems in the Republican Party, which we do, just like anything, let’s fight them after this election, let’s get something done and get President Trump back in there, because we don’t — I think this country is in sad, sad shape,” Parker told the Washington Examiner.

Poitevint said the truce between Kemp and Trump could be the game-changer for Republicans in Georgia.

“I think it sends a signal to everyone, it’s time to come home. Get lined up. Let’s go to work,” he said.

In a post to Truth Social on Friday, Trump said, “My Administration will be great for women and their reproductive rights.”

Pence blasted the former president, saying he used the “language of the Left.”

“The Trump-Pence administration stood for life without apology for four years,” Pence told theNational Review(anti Trump republucans). “The former President’s use of the language of the Left, pledging that his administration would be ‘great for women and their reproductive rights’ should be concerning for millions of pro-life Americans.”

“Republicans should embrace the language of life, not the language of those who support abortion on demand. The pro-life movement must stand with the vulnerable, the mothers and the babies. We must never accept retreat on the fight for life,” he added.

Pence also expressed “disappointment” in July when the Republican Party softened its stance on abortion.

“Unfortunately, this platform is part of a broader retreat in our party, trying to remain vague for political expedience,” he said. “But history shows that those who stand without apology for life and make their case to the American people are rewarded at the ballot box. that covers about a 5 year period, but it does not take into account now many kids go missing each year domestically as well. The numbers for that re estimated at about 260k a year, 200 of that is said to be parents in custody battles, still leaves 60k that are legit taken.

That means that domestically about 300k have gone missing over the same time frame. over 100k a year combined with illegal and naturalized.

According to the authors, the incidence of long covid in kids was “strikingly low”, occurring in just 0.4% of young patients. Symptoms of infection in kids typically resolve within two weeks, they added.

But those reassuring findings hinged on several errors in the analysis that made the incidence of long COVID in children look less than a third of what the researchers should have reported.

Per the retraction notice, signed by senior author Piush Mandhane:

"Since publication, we have identified methodological (analytical) errors in our original report that impacted our estimate of the prevalence of post–COVID-19 condition (PCC) in children and adolescents and our reported associations between pre- and post–COVID-19 symptoms.

One coding error led to the miscategorization of children for whom data were missing to be considered asymptomatic. Another error led to the exclusion of 15 children because of a mistaken date cut-off.

In addition, we originally reported a study sample of children between 8 and 13 years of age. We subsequently identified participants with COVID-19 (cases) who were recruited between 1 and 7.49 years and 14.5 and 19 years of age. These participants were included in the original PCC analysis. We had concluded that the incidence of PCC was 0.4% (1/271). In correcting these errors, we found that the incidence of PCC was 1.4% (4/286).

The researchers also identified coding errors affecting their analysis of symptoms before and after infection, and in the duration of fevers.

In correcting these errors, we found that pre–COVID-19 headache, fever, and fatigue were associated with post–COVID-19 symptoms of the same. However, pre–COVID-19 cough, rhinitis, and sore throat were not associated with post–COVID-19 symptoms of the same."

The notice concludes with an apology to the readers and editors of the journal, and states all seven authors agreed with the decision to retract the work.

Blake Murdoch, of the University of Alberta Health Law Institute – which you may recognize as the same university as the authors of the article – was co-author of a January 2024 letter to JAMA Pediatrics pointing out several flaws in the Hahn paper. Murdoch told us he and his colleagues were glad to see the retraction. With a caveat:

No, this does not address the concerns we raised, these are in fact additional errors! Dr. Mandhane’s retraction note chalked it up to coding errors, which certainly seem to exist, but there is no mention of the basic errors in the manuscript we laid out in our letter, such as changing the definition of PCC between the Introduction and Methods as I discuss in an old tweet thread. Also, the study authors’ response letter to us seemingly attempted to claim they used components of a definition of long covid that was not published until after the study was completed. …

Perhaps the authors are attempting to save face by focusing on the coding errors rather than the egregious and obvious methodological problems, such as claiming to use the WHO definition of PCC but then inventing their own.

Mandhane did not respond to a request for comment.

The retraction is the latest of more than 400 involving papers about COVID-19, by our count.

Hundreds of paper planes symbolizing the logo of Telegram have been brought by supporters of Pavel Durov to the French embassy in Moscow, in a demonstration of support for the messaging platform’s CEO in response to his detention in Paris.

The Russian entrepreneur, who is also a citizen of France, the UAE, and Saint Kitts and Nevis, was taken into custody at Paris-Le Bourget Airport on Saturday andis set to appear in court on Sunday evening, according to French media. The country’s authorities had reportedly issued an arrest warrant for Durov, arguing that insufficient moderation allows for Telegram to be widely used by criminals.

On Sunday, Durov’s supporters gathered near the French embassy and covered the shrubs around it with paper airplanes. Deputy Speaker of theRussian State Duma Vladislav Davankov was among those who participated in the rally.

The top state official had previously demanded the immediate release of the social media platform’s founder, arguingthat his “arrest could be politically motivated and used to gain access to the personal information of Telegram users.”

Durov’s detention has triggered a wave of indignation in Russia and abroad. US tech billionaireElon Muskbecame one of the first globally known figures to react;he has launched the hashtag #FreePavel, and suggested that rising international pressure on freedom of speech could worsen.

The head of Russia’s Safe Internet League,Ekaterina Mizulina, has suggested that the French authorities hadn’t acted independentlyin their decision to detain Telegram’s CEO,calling the move “a continuation of the US sanctions policy.”

US investor David Sacks went further, insisting that Washington has violated its own constitutional freedoms by forcing its NATO ally France to arrest Durov.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said earlier that Moscow has sent an official letter to Parisdemanding consular access to Telegram’s founder.

Moscow’s embassy in Paris has insisted that French authorities explain the reasons for Durov’s arrest, and relayed that it is in contact with Durov’s lawyer.

Durov was born in Leningrad (now St Petersburg) in 1984. He left Russia in the mid-2010s and has since mainly lived in the UAE. In 2021, he was granted French citizenship. Last month, Durov wrote on his Telegram channel that the messaging platform had reached 950 million active monthly users.

The arrest of Telegram founder Pavel Durov in France is a warning to online platforms that stand up to censorship, American journalist and political commentator Tucker Carlson has said.

The Russian tech entrepreneur was detained at Paris-Le Bourget Airport on Saturday and will appear in court on Sunday evening. French authorities had reportedly issued an arrest warrant against him, arguing that insufficient moderation allows for Telegram to be widely used by criminals.

The news of Durov’s apparent prosecution has raised concerns online, including suggestions that it could be politically motivated.

“Pavel Durov left Russia when the government tried to control his social media company, Telegram. But in the end, it wasn’t Putin who arrested him for allowing the public to exercise free speech,” Carlson wrote on X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday. “==It was a Western country, a Biden administration ally and enthusiastic NATO member, that locked him away.”

Durov’s arrest is“a living warning to any platform owner who refuses to censor the truth at the behest of governments and intel agencies,” Carlson argued. “Darkness is descending fast on the formerly free world.”

Carlson recorded a rare interview with Durov in April, in which the Telegram owner spoke about his disagreements with the Russian government, as well as the pressure he faced in the US. Telegram was launched in 2013 and currently has more than 950 million active monthly users. Durov is a native of St. Petersburg, Russia, but has been mostly been living in the UAE since the mid-2010s. He became a French and an Emirati citizen in 2021.

When the French Revolution began in 1789, France faced financial, social, and political upheaval. The country had amassed significant debt due to its involvement in the Seven Years’ War and the American Revolution, the high expenses of maintaining a large military and extensive navy, and extravagant spending by the French monarchy. Before the French Revolution, the French Franc was the global reserve currency. However, due to fiscal mismanagement, the nation experienced hyperinflation, food shortages, civil insurrection, and the loss of its reserve currency status.

During the French Revolution, different political groups, called clubs, vied for control to establish a new republic and abolish the monarchy. The Jacobins, a radical ultra-left-wing organization led by charismatic Maximilien Robespierre, became the most dominant and powerful faction. The Jacobins abolished traditions, customs, and religion to achieve equality and created new cultural norms. Jacobins used re-education and progressive reasoning to achieve egalitarianism—a false religion of virtue. When that failed, they resorted to violence. The Jacobin movement is the precursor of Marxism.

The Jacobins, known for their radical policies, implemented an egalitarian economic interventionism. This policy involved setting prices and rationing goods, leading to hyperinflation. They also rejected Catholicism and established new religious cults, such as the Cult of Reason and the Cult of the Supreme Being. The Jacobins even reset the calendar, renaming months and days and instituting a ten-day week.

NASA will return Boeing’s Starliner to Earth without astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams aboard the spacecraft, the agency announced Saturday.

The uncrewed return allows NASA and Boeing to continue gathering testing data on Starliner during its upcoming flight home, while also not accepting more risk than necessary for its crew.

Wilmore and Williams, who flew to the International Space Station in June aboard NASA’s Boeing Crew Flight Test, have been busy supporting station research, maintenance, and Starliner system testing and data analysis, among other activities.

“Spaceflight is risky, even at its safest and most routine. A test flight, by nature, is neither safe, nor routine.

The decision to keep Butch and Suni aboard the International Space Station and bring Boeing’s Starliner home uncrewed is the result of our commitment to safety: our core value and our North Star,” said NASA Administrator Bill Nelson.

“I’m grateful to both the NASA and Boeing teams for all their incredible and detailed work.”

Wilmore and Williams will continue their work formally as part of the Expedition 71/72 crew through February 2025.

They will fly home aboard a Dragon spacecraft with two other crew members assigned to the agency’s SpaceX Crew-9 mission.

Starliner is expected to depart from the space station and make a safe, controlled autonomous re-entry and landing in early September.

NASA and Boeing identified helium leaks and experienced issues with the spacecraft reaction control thrusters on June 6 as Starliner approached the space station.

Since then, engineering teams have completed a significant amount of work, including reviewing a collection of data, conducting flight and ground testing, hosting independent reviews with agency propulsion experts, and developing various return contingency plans.

The uncertainty and lack of expert concurrence does not meet the agency’s safety and performance requirements for human spaceflight, thus prompting NASA leadership to move the astronauts to the Crew-9 mission.

“Decisions like this are never easy, but I want to commend our NASA and Boeing teams for their thorough analysis, transparent discussions, and focus on safety during the Crew Flight Test,” said Ken Bowersox, associate administrator for NASA’s Space Operations Mission Directorate.

“We’ve learned a lot about the spacecraft during its journey to the station and its docked operations.

We also will continue to gather more data about Starliner during the uncrewed return and improve the system for future flights to the space station.”

Starliner is designed to operate autonomously and previously completed two uncrewed flights. NASA and Boeing will work together to adjust end-of-mission planning and Starliner’s systems to set up for the uncrewed return in the coming weeks.

Starliner must return to Earth before the Crew-9 mission launches to ensure a docking port is available on station.

“Starliner is a very capable spacecraft and, ultimately, this comes down to needing a higher level of certainty to perform a crewed return,” said Steve Stich, manager of NASA’s Commercial Crew Program.

“The NASA and Boeing teams have completed a tremendous amount of testing and analysis, and this flight test is providing critical information on Starliner’s performance in space.

Our efforts will help prepare for the uncrewed return and will greatly benefit future corrective actions for the spacecraft.”

NASA’s Commercial Crew Program requires spacecraft fly a crewed test flight to prove the system is ready for regular flights to and from the space station.

Following Starliner’s return, the agency will review all mission-related data to inform what additional actions are required to meet NASA’s certification requirements.

The agency’s SpaceX Crew-9 mission, originally slated with four crew members, will launch no earlier than Tuesday, Sept. 24.

The agency will share more information about the Crew-9 complement when details are finalized.

Bonkers Plan Calls for Making Elon Musk Head of NASA

SpaceX CEO Elon Musk and former president Donald Trump's relationship has been rocky, to say the least. The pair have butted heads for years.

But now that Musk has somehow emerged as Trump's number-one fan, the situation is looking dramatically different.

When asked by Reuters earlier this week whether he would consider appointing Musk to a cabinet or advisory role, Trump had a straightforward answer.

"He's a very smart guy," he said. "I certainly would, if he would do it, I certainly would. He's a brilliant guy."

Musk appeared to be amused by the suggestion, tweeting "I am willing to serve" in response.

An AI-generated picture appended to the tweet imagined the mercurial CEO as the head of the fictitious "Department of Government Efficiency."

To some, that wouldn't be going far enough. In a divisive opinion piece published in the Wall Street Journal, historian and author Arthur Herman argued that Musk should be made the head of — no, we are not kidding — NASA.

"The right choice for Mr. Musk’s talents and vision is obvious," Herman wrote.

Needless to say, it's a harebrained idea that could doom the space agency.

For one, Musk's well-documented hatred of government intervention — despite his space venture relying on billions of dollars worth of government contracts — should disqualify him.

And even ignoring the preposterous conflict of interest of running the agency responsible for bankrolling SpaceX, there's the sheer lack of time he'd be able to commit to running NASA.

Musk is already spread incredibly thin across his ventures, and he's garnered a reputation for poor time management, causing some of his ventures to atrophy while his attention is taken up by micromanaging other businesses.

In other words, Musk has far too much on his plate already — so appointing him to a high-up government position likely wouldn't end well.

According to Herman, Musk would "breathe new life into an agency struggling to rediscover its sense of national purpose."

But whether NASA even needs to do that remains debatable.

The agency has pushed hard in its renewed efforts to return humans to the Moon as part of its Artemis program and has been rallying behind the development of cutting-edge space observation technologies, like the agency's groundbreaking James Webb Space Telescope.

Herman also cites the ongoing Starliner crisis as a reason for NASA being "in shambles."

"NASA staff are weighed down by a bureaucratic agenda that seems more interested in meeting diversity, equity and inclusion requirements than advancing America in space," he wrote, referencing a common regressive talking point.

Needless to say, arguing that the space agency's downfall is due to its DEI practices is downright racist and highlights the kind of rhetoric Musk himself has used during his own racist tirades on X-formerly-Twitter.

While it's fair to say that NASA has been bogged down by bureaucracy, pinning its failings on its DEI practices perhaps highlights Herman's real intentions: pushing a private industry-first and highly politicized, pro-Trump agenda.

Is Musk really the man for the job, who could "inspire a new generation of explorers and entrepreneurs," as Herman suggests?

Given his abhorrent behavior and impulsive way of thinking, Musk could prove highly destabilizing if he were in charge of the space agency.

And that's the very last thing NASA needs right now: a polarizing figure that would prove far more of a source of distraction than some much-needed consistency in leadership.

Besides, Musk's mocking tone in his recent tweet about being "willing to serve" suggests he'd be unlikely to accept such an offer anyway.

Fred Outten, President and Founder of ASEP (Acknowledging Special Events and Projects), announced today that “NASA’s Legendary mathematician, Katherine Johnson, has been selected to receive ASEP’s ‘Humanitarian of All Mankind (HOAM)’ Award (posthumously).”

Katherine Johnson, (b. 8/26/1918) who sadly passed away on February 24, 2020, would have turned 106 years old on August 26, 2024.

“As we reflect on the life of Katherine Johnson, known as the Woman of the 20th Century, we are reminded of her incredible contribution to this nation and especially to the U.S. Space program as one of the many African American women who faced racial discrimination, known as the Human Computers, in the early days of the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics (NACA), renamed as the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), at the Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia,” Outten said.

A brilliant African American mathematician, Katherine Johnson was a child protégé who reached high school at age 10, entered college at age 15, and graduated summa cum laude with Bachelor of Science degrees in mathematics and French at age 18.

She started her career as a teacher and even chose to make uniforms for the school’s majorettes because the hand-me-downs from the white schools were in such ruined condition.

She was asked and accepted the challenge of being one of the three “Negro” students (and the only woman) to integrate West Virginia University’s graduate program.

She later began her stellar 33-year career in aviation and aerospace upon her arrival at NACA in 1953. It is said that the Wright Brothers’ and Katherine Johnson’s contributions to aviation are forever linked.

Perhaps one of Katherine Johnson’s most extraordinary, yet hidden, pioneering contributions to aviation history is her research in 1954, that helped to prevent wake turbulence accidents at a time of the need to address crowded air safety concerns stemming from an accident that involved a small Piper propeller plane that unexpectedly simply fell out of the sky and crashed to the ground.

Her months of lengthy and tedious research and other similar investigations ultimately led to permanent changes in air traffic regulations mandating minimum distances between flight paths to prevent wake turbulence accidents.

Katherine Johnson’s research has saved countless lives nationally and globally to this day every time one boards an airplane!

At NASA, Katherine Johnson’s unprecedented mathematical calculations of orbital mechanics, calculating trajectories, were critical to the success of the first and subsequent U.S.-crewed spaceflights, including for the Apollo missions.

By 1958, Johnson had contributed to “Notes on Space Technology,” the space agency’s first comprehensive reference document on space flight. By 1959, she had prepared a trajectory analysis for a crewed suborbital flight.

In 1960, she co-authored the research report, “Determination of Azimuth Angle at Burnout for Placing a Satellite Over a Selected Earth Position,” laying out the equations that would form the basis of that crewed orbital space flight of John Glenn’s Friendship 7 mission on February 20, 1962. Katherine was asked to verify the calculations when electronic computers at NASA were used to calculate the orbit.

Glenn personally asked that Johnson hand-check the trajectory equations input into the IBM 7090 computer. Glenn is quoted, “Get the girl to check the numbers.”

If she says the numbers are good, he told them, I’m ready to go, thereby trusting Katherine’s calculations over the computer system!

Prior to John Glenn’s orbital flight, Katherine Johnson calculated the trajectory for Alan Shepard’s Freedom 7 mission, the second person and first American spaceflight on May 5, 1961.

Research Shows Claims of Cattle Emissions Causing Climate Change Are Overblown

Researchers at the University of Nebraska are studying the effect of cattle on climate change. Whereas other research is only concerned with greenhouse gases expelled from cattle, the University of Nebraska also focuses carbon capture that is helped out by grazing and manure and can far outweigh the emissions from cattle.

There has been a lot of talk lately about cows and the role their flatulence plays in climate change.

But many cattle producers will tell you, that’s a load of bull.

“Any cattle producer will probably smirk when they hear that as far as the methane released by cows affecting global warming,” said Austin Schweitzer, who runs the cow-calf operations Schweitzer Angus.

Research into cattle emissions has mostly focused on the emissions from the cows themselves but new research happening at the University of Nebraska is focusing on the pastures where cattle graze and the role it can play in carbon capture.

“They have not accounted for the capture part, they only account for methane being lost and everything else is in balance. It turns out that’s not really true,” said Galen Erickson, a researcher at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

When it comes to greenhouse gasses you have emissions and capture.

Animals produce CO2, but the soil and plants that grow in it can capture CO2.

Erickson’s team has found that capture — helped out by grazing and manure — can far outweigh the emissions from cattle.

“With adequate precipitation, we are seeing that grasslands can take up more CO2 and carbon in the soil and plants, that offsets the CO2 that cattle are producing but it also offsets the methane,” said Erickson.

Did you feel it? Did you hear it?

Unconfirmed reports have been doing the rounds of a possible meteorite or satellite that hit close to the Patensie area, causing people to think there might have been an earthquake.

According to Weather Guru, a Facebook page run by Garth Sampson, a former employee of the South African Weather Service, although it’s unclear exactly what happened, it was definitely not an earthquake.

Residents in the Mossel Bay area said they had heard two loud bang noises this morning, as dit another resident in Great Brak.

Weather Guru said: “My rainfall group in the Langkloof started reporting what sounded like an earthquake.

Later reports came through of what seems to look like a meteor or satellite.

It apparently hit in the Patensie area.”

He said a video had been doing rounds on many groups and was sent to Weather Guru by Tsitsikamaboertjie from Assagaaibosch.

The man behind the guerrilla attack on Planned Parenthood — nearly three years in the making, with hundreds of hours of secret recordings — says he always planned to build his campaign one video at a time.

And his strategy is playing out exactly as intended.

David Daleiden, founder of the Center for Medical Progress, wanted to ensure the sting videos accusing the women’s health organization of illegally profiting from the sale of fetal tissue had staying power beyond the “contemporary 24-hour news cycle.”

The eight tapes already made public have galvanized the anti-abortion movement and put federal and state funding for Planned Parenthood on the chopping block. Probes of the group are underway in Congress and several states. And conservatives on the Hill are threatening to shut down the federal government if their demand for cuts are ignored.

Daleiden signaled to POLITICO on Tuesday, shortly after the latest tape was posted online, that he has four more videos to release, “give or take” — and he’ll leak them one at a time, perhaps every week, hoping to sustain the political and media firestorm. That schedule would take the controversy right up to the Sept. 30 deadline for Congress to pass a government spending bill.

“For a topic this complex and multilayered, it’s important that each piece of evidence have a chance to be examined individually and so the current presentation format is geared towards that,” Daleiden wrote in an email. The public would never have the attention span to absorb a single, “multiterabyte data dump,” he wrote.

Some had predicted diminishing returns if the shock value of the videos wore off, the group was discredited or the tapes simply stopped coming. But to the consternation of Planned Parenthood and its allies, that has yet to happen despite their insistence that the videos are full of distortions.

The women’s health provider has explicitly denied any illegal activity, saying it legally donates fetal tissue for medical research only after receiving patient consent. In a statement late Tuesday, it castigated CMP’s campaign.

In an attempt to allay the fears of potential supporters in the grocery industry who see economic disaster in Vice President Kamala Harris’ food price control plan, surrogates are suggesting it’s a moot point.

After Harris released her plans for price controls across economic sectors, "Kamunism" trended on X. The fiscal policy has also been referred to by former President and Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump as "communist." However, Republicans are not the only ones who see scarcity on the shelves with Harris’s plans. The grocery store industry and even some economists usually sympathetic to Democrats are also alarmed, Politico reported.

According to unnamed Democrats in Congress and Congressional aides, neither price controls nor price gouging bills will sail into law anytime soon. The sources claimed this is all about talking points and trying to convince voters that even though Harris was the second part of the Biden-Harris administration, she is trying to shift the blame for inflation from President Joe Biden to corporations.

“It’s clear to me these are very general, very lofty goals,” said one of the anonymous Democratic lawmakers. Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D-MI) agreed with that sentiment, telling NBC News’ Meet the Press that people shouldn’t be reading too much into what has been put out there,” because Harris is just talking in “broad strokes.”

The Harris plan would also require a degree of antitrust busting that would not move easily through either the House or Senate, Politico noted. “I honestly still don’t know how this would work,” another unnamed Democrat in Congress told the outlet.

Some analysts are wondering just where Harris is getting her policy advice that increasingly favors government control – from food prices to housing. Since she started to talk about “price gouging” instead of price controls, the Harris campaign has insisted this won’t necessitate broad emergency powers that could be aimed at any corporation deemed to be making too much money. Instead, it would only target “bad actors."

Harris' economic advisor Brian Nelson spoke about the “price gouging” plan at the Democratic National Convention and tried to disarm critics by assuring the public that the federal government would only intervene to stop “price gouging” in a national emergency.

“She’s going to work with Congress to ensure that it is directed at bad actors, bad activity,” Nelson said. “It’s not meant to set prices or price levels or anything like that. And that is not the way current state laws around price gouging are.” However, not only could the Harris advisor not clarify what would constitute an emergency, but he could not cite any examples of corporations who are guilty of “price gouging.”

“That’s why I think it’s not a serious policy,” a food industry source told Politico.

“I’m sure it polls well,” the person said. “But it’s an obvious effort to deflect blame from her administration on inflation.” Grocery stores are already operating at low profit levels and the thought that they are fueling inflation after the trillions spent by the Biden-Harris administration on imagined Covid relief and questionable infrastructure bills strikes grocery store owners as both unfair and mendacious.

The Biden Regime is striking back against RFK Jr. after he endorsed President Trump.

The New York Post reported Sunday that the RFK Jr. will no longer have Secret Service protection because had suspended his candidacy, despite the fact he remains on the ballot in 40 out of 50 states.

Recall that RFK Jr. on Friday said that he was only withdrawing from the race in 10 swing states, which would decide the election between President Trump and Kamala Harris. He still wants his fans residing in safe red and blue states to continue to vote for him.

Moreover, RFK Jr. will soon join Trump on the campaign trail. Given that two high-profile individuals will appear together across the country, more, not less, Secret Service security is imperative.

This is especially true when one considers the fact Trump came within a centimeter of getting assassinated last month, and another maniac wanted to end the 45th president’s life in Arizona this week. The chances of someone wanting to put a bullet in Kennedy just WENT UP because he endorsed the Democrats’ most loathed man.

Polling also shows that RFK Jr. withdrawing from the swing states significantly boosts Trump’s chances of defeating Harris and returning to the White House.

Make no mistake: this move was not about the Secret Service wanting to save a few dollars. This is about petty vengeance due.

As The Gateway Pundit readers previously reported, Kennedy publicly and privately lobbied for Secret Service protection for MONTHS due to several security scares. He correctly noted that political motivations were behind the delay in receiving it.

Trump stepped forward and demanded the regime correct this injustice. The White House finally acceded to the public outcry and gave him the protection he so richly deserves right after the Trump assassination attempt.

While RFK Jr. did not mention this fact as a key reason for his endorsing Trump, he has consistently thanked Trump for looking out for him.

Now, the Regime is perfectly content with leaving RFK Jr. out to dry despite the inevitable dangers he will surely encounter.

Russia is demanding answers following the arrest Pavel Durov, the billionaire co-founder and CEO of messaging app Telegram. He was detained by French authorities at the Bourget airport outside of Paris Saturday evening after arriving in his private jet.

The Russian embassy in Paris has demanded that the French government explain itself, and has so far said that French authorities are being uncooperative. The latest reports say Durov is expected to appear before a judge Sunday evening.

The embassy said of the 39-year-old Russian-born billionaire that "as soon as the news of Durov’s arrest broke, we immediately addressed the French authorities for clarification on the reasons for it and demanded that they ensure the protection of his rights and provide consular access to him."

He not only has Russian citizenship by virtue of his birth there, but also holds dual citizenship in France and the UAE.

Russian diplomats say there has been no reply from Paris: "The French side has so far been avoiding cooperation on this issue," a statement said. Russian lawmakers have gone so far as to say he is now a "political prisoner".

Russian member of parliament Maria Butina said on Sunday, "Pavel Durov is a political prisoner - a victim of a witch-hunt by the West.

"The arrest of Pavel Durov means there is no freedom of speech - it means that freedom of speech in Europe is dead," she continued. "Now basically they have a hostage and they will try to blackmail Russia, they will try to blackmail all the users of Telegram and not only try to get control but also try to block the network here in Russia."

Additionally, deputy speaker of Russian parliament, Vladislav Davankov, described that the tech entrepreneur's arrest "could be politically motivated and used to gain access to the personal information of Telegram users."

And Dmitry Medvedev, who is the deputy head of Russia's Security Council, said Durov is being targeted because he's Russian. "He miscalculated," Medvedev said. "For all our common enemies now, he is Russian – and therefore unpredictable and dangerous." Medvedev asserted, "Durov should finally realize that one cannot chose one's the fatherland."

One interesting angle is that the app, well-known for being highly secure as it provides end-to-end encryption, is widely used among the Russian military, as well as the common population.
