I saw that float through an am bread in mid May, while I was still finalizing my board. It wasn't just once, either, they littered that bread with it in different sizes.

OSS pointed it out to me, too. I had only been able to see it after the fact, or else I would have called it out right then.

Last week anons and bakers discussed what's happened to put the board in crisis.

As usual, this is my 2cents.

In a nutshell:

- Rogue baker OSS has been attacking bakers since late last winter.

- Apologized in May, left, then came back in July.

- Started a cycle of creating various problems so he could provide the solution: "hero of the board" gig

- Main idea: /comms/ board is comp'd and traditional bakers are too.

- Used constant spamming & overly-detailed "muh graphics" to sell ideas that had little merit on their own.

- Secretly enlisted the help of FJ to pin baking thread in /qr/

- Gained momentum due to increasing help from shills, bots and possibly /qr/ mgmt (who tried to take out bakers last year)

- Whenever the board starts to 'normalize,' OSS steals bakes, bakes dups, or does both using multiple IPs

- Then SPAMS "comms bakers did it."

Wrap up smear fully operational.

a. FIX THE BREAD

b. TIDY UP THE SHIP

What exactly did Q mean? again, my 2cents:

a. Fix the bread - no more things going in & out of the dough willy-nilly (confusing, destabilizing, no continuity)

* This is mainly the job of bakers

* But shills are making it hard for bakers to bake (they encourage new bakers but then create conditions that make it impossible - then blame others. Finally, OSS comes in a 'rescues' the board with competent baking…..rinse and repeat)

b. Tidy up the ship - cleanup by BO/BVs of bad bread numbers/titles, elimination of dup bakes and other board-level problems like spamming

* Mainly the job of BO/BVs - bc although anyone can steal bakes, make dups, and SPAM and SHILL, only BO/BVs can make edits and deletions

How can that change?

What matters most right now

1. New board (why create it? isn't it disloyal to /qr/?)

* need to prepare another board in case one is requested by Q

* meanwhile, gives somewhere for anons to work wo/constant bombardment by shills

* reminds visitors what a smoothly functioning Q board looks like

2. Staying in touch with what is going on at /qr/ - especially anon questions/concerns

* most anons are still at /qr/ - and Q still posts there (so needed for situational awareness)

* keep up on latest shill tactics & counter them when possible (e.g., call out flat-out lies - like "comms is purposely sabotaging the breads")

* lets us know where anons are at and how we can support them wo/also 'enabling' the shills (that is the difficulty!!)

3. Help anons become more aware of the situation & taking more responsibility for the breads

* they are trying to do this, but have a lot less info than bakers (we been dealing with this situation since April)

* can happen at /qr/, at /mr/, and in classes/forums like baking seminar (anywhere else??)

because it speaks to the issue of why /qr/ is so fucked up right now.

hope this provides some ideas for how to counter it:

CHIEF FALSE IDEAS/ASSUMPTIONS that can be exploited by shills to damage the kitchen

1. Anyone can bake.

In theory, yes. But few do. Among those that do, few remain bakers. Among those who remain, few are available to bake day in and day out. So the numbers of 'core crew' bakers is always small.

2. Baking is easy.

If baking is so easy, why have the bakes been so screwed up for weeks? Because regular bakers seldom bake in /qr/ (bc their dough corrections are repeatedly reversed by shills or bakes are stolen by those with shill backing). If it's so easy, why aren't more anons baking?

3. Bakers shouldn't have baker names.

Why is it better? Better in what way? Lots of anons have names (BO/BVs, ResignationAnon, GMTanon, etc.). None are their real names, just designators that allow us to know the role of the person on the board. Baker names are similar. They allow bakers to communicate clearly during handoffs. Also allow anons to know who is baking. Is that bad? Do anons not want to know who is baking? (I doubt it.)

4. Long-time baking crew won't hand off except to their 'buddies'.

Based on idea that baking is a closed club. Once when shills were saying this, bakers made a special point to ask every single bread if someone else wants to bake. Especially someone new. They never did - even got to be a joke made into a meme about how "lotsa" anons wanted to bake (NOT).

5. It's bad for bakers to plan or have shifts.

Having baker names means bakers can talk to other bakers to let them know when they are available to bake, so we don't end up with unexpected ghost breads at times when Q may post. Shills imply that bakers who can communicate will do so to "takeover the kitchen" (whatever that means).

6. Anons would rather have anon making than know who is baking upfront.

Saying who you are upfront tells anons who is baking. Many like the idea. Why would anons want less transparency?

7. Bakers were forced to produce named pbins or qbins to bake this summer.

No - not forced. But encouraged - yes. In order to prevent WR from sneaking stuff into the dough using anonymous bakes. That problem disappeared when bins were voluntarily used by most bakers when offering handoff. Not a perfect system - if used again, could be worked out in a way that allowed for complete anonymity.

8. Bakers from "comms" have been sabotaging the dough.

Absolutely not. This is just a BIGGEST or the BIG LIES recently told about bakers. Meant to make sure that experienced bakers don't make it into the kitchen.

When baking, I always resisted adding anything to the notables that I thought could be used to discredit us. Things that appeared to be purposeful additions which I could easily imagine becoming the basis for hit pieces against "QAnon".

I believe that is one of the things the current ones baking dislike about /comms.

Some of the current bakers seem to delight in putting stupid stuff and detrimental stuff into the notables.

Which speaks to either their (1) lack of experience in understanding what could be used to discredit Q or (2) demonstrates their motivation to work with MSM to discredit Q & anons.

while i don't disagree with your description, at the minimum, it just means having a running working bread, not dueling spam battles…

and those battles, power struggles brought on by the shilling/bake war/OSS/reasons are in my mind more what is meant by

b) tidy up

since the bread problems are the symptom, and the warring the cause.

since the shilling is relentless, even if anons can be just as stubborn, that's still just an impasse.

we're at an unfortunate necessity to discuss difficult questions of management - and the new board provides an interesting experiment in that regard, because a new, assumedly authoritarian approach is taken, whereas apparently the fully open principle remains active on qr, as only in most extreme/illegal cases does mgmt intervene.

Thing is, i get it, normally i'm with the all open too: for principle, but also because moderation changes the dynamic (basically platform/publisher, same as for social media): if any shill can post what they want on board, then we can't be blamed for the content. Of course we are anyway, but that's still another question.

BUT, after years in this, it seems that there can be appeal to one principle, that parallels Q recommendations of thinking for oneself, and recognizing how vital that is to grasping the finer points of the crumbs as well : the obvious.

What is obvious cannot always easily be proven, if at all. But to a living human mind, the obvious is obvious.

In our situation, to me at least it is obvious that ebot is a nuisance, and so are plenty other less glaring shills. If i were to be moderator, i think i could work with a principle of separation of content and method/quantity: basically shiposting vs spam.

Shiposting: pretty much anything goes, have at it.

Spam: now here's where it gets trickier. But to take an easy example, those fucking redhead from behind 5pics posts that became sigils or something… never figured quite what's going on there, but damn, i'd just blast that so fast.

Sure, they'll hop on with another IP, but good, make em use it. That's what having many BVs is all about, isn't it?

this is still just musings about how to exert a moderation authority with transparency, and even more vitally: legitimacy.

here we have the tradeoff between the "anyone can bake" idea and the fact that when "anyone can bake," shills bake too.

Sometimes it's not a big problem - occasional shill bakes happen.

But WR was pushing an agenda and pushing hard.

That's how bakers came this spring to trying to be able to recognize who wanted to bake when they offered.

I think anons liked knowing this too although it would be hard to admit because shills always jump you saying "name-fagging".

Take my comments and observations for what they are worth, hopefully constructive.

I am anon-anon, just someone who never posted on any of the chan boards until Q research. You seem to be a group that wants to keep the board running smoothly, although some proposals in this thread do concern me.

1. I think it is important to keep QR as a neutral environment where anon contributors from all over the worlds can come and feel productive. After getting over the initial revulsion of the typical daily distractions and shill crap, it is essential that anons feel like they can make a difference and advance the research and causes outlined by Q.

2. As a neutral environment, QR must avoid at all costs seeming like a 'club', or a faction, or a group of buddies who just landed here from /pol/ or wherever. That is why there is extreme reaction to the anime bakers. But it is also why there is extreme reaction to "comms" bakers. Most of us don't know WTF Comms is, but if this other person is calling you out as the problem, then he just created an awareness. "You mean there is a group of bakers who hand off breads to each other? THAT sounds suspicious." I think you can see the problem here, if you look at it from anon-anon perspective. Admittedly it is our own fault for not understanding bakes. For all I know, Comms could be the glue holding everything together. If you are, then you need to consider the optics here.

3. Comms bakers, lets assume you are the good guys, but you have effectively invited this outsider person to attack your weakness. Every time you refer to each other as KB, or FB, or Doc, or whoever…you have broken the invisible trust. Now anon-anons can see that there are indeed a group of 'buddies' having outside comms with each other, making plans about the board. Even if they are good plans, but how would anons know that? It comes across as subversion, even if it is well intended. Advice = PLEASE stop referring to each other in the breads, you are just creating a rash of shit. Keep neutral, keep anon.

4. One of you seems to be recommending a new board where 'real' anons can gather, and leave QR behind to collect all the shills and continue as the shit-show it has turned into. As anon-anon, I COULD NOT DISAGREE MORE. Q Research is Q's board. NO outside comms. It is the place intended for the collected research. Splitting into something new is cool, hey I'm sure there are lots of other boards. But aligning with QR in any way would in fact hurt QR. Ask yourselves if you really want to do that, before considering yourselves as the 'good guys' in this situation.

5. Lately there have been non-stop attempts at changing the QR graphic. Is this a Comms effort? And if so, why on earth would you want to piss off most anons who want to see this graphic unchanged? If it is not a Comms effort, are you doing anything to help push the original graphic? Baked on gerbil's endchan board. Disappeared after replatforming then reappeared with inflated ego late this summer, threw in with OSS. I was there two nights ago when battle raged about the image - this baker completely ignored anons who wanted the image reverted to the original. Now he's changing it every time he bakes - truly appalling, it's the destruction of an important symbol for the board.

Each of us can each do only what it is within our power to do. Some bakers created a clean board because that is what bakers know how to do. Perhaps a simple way that you could communicate with each other without seeming like a 'faction', is to post your image rather than namefagging. I've noticed "KB" posts his little Bee image. I think it is subtle enough that most anons won't catch it, but those of you who happen to be posting in the bread will catch it.

Of course your outside infiltrator guy will catch it too, and then start bitching about it. But we just think he is a shill so he gets ignored. He does a good job of painting /comms as evil, so don't give him ammunition is what I'm saying.

Ten Tips for Notables

rev. 11-5-2020

GENERALLY

1. Maintain a separate Notepad++ file for notables (don't insert directly in the pastebin file).

Enables you to note missing sauce, put in "iffy" notes at the end (waiting for a nom), etc.

2. Post about four times during the bread, (early, middle, last call, final).

Don't stick anything iffy in at the last moment, make sure anons can vet it first.

3. Make notables easy to find with RED TEXT and BOLD.

Especially important if you may have to ghost–next baker needs heavy formatting to locate important info like notes.

4. Link notes to dough post if you have to ghost.

Same reason as above.

DECIDING WHAT TO NOTABLE

5. Look for anon noms, they are usually notable.

"Usually" because shills nom too. So do trolls. If not sure, ask for a 2nd nom or say what's missing.''

6. For noms wo/a description (usually anon diagrams, etc.), ask for one.

It's anons' responsibility to summarize a main point.'

7. Look for newsy articles

If necessary, edit the title to be more neutral (not insulting) or shorter if wordy (or add important details if missing).

8. Look for special reports: planefags, boatfags, Resignations in the News, etc.

Anons seldom nom these, except for RA's stuff if they don't see it in Notes.

9. If there is too much news & bred is fast…

…focus mainly on nommed posts, breaking news (if verified), news re Q concerns (CP, etc.).

10. Check for two things: dates and whether it's been notabled (in qresear.ch).

Easy during slow breads, hard during fast ones. Dates take priority. But if you forget, anons or shills will always let you know.
