Welcome to the Milky way. Home of humans and so many other races. In the rise and fall of galactic empires now is an interesting time. Old fallen empires rise again, new empires discover FTL travel for the first time, and revolutions form new empires. Now a great era in the timeline of the galaxy begins, what part will you play?

Fill this out where it says to:

Name: The Yiyatun Commonwealth

Race: The Yiyatun - visually a hybrid between timberwolves and raccoons, with dexterous paws.

Carnivorous and fairly pack orientated, with clans comprising of multiple packs, and Great Clans

comprising of multiple clans.

Color: Red

Fluff: The Yiyatun Commonwealth was formed after the Great Clan War; sick of the constant

warring of the planetbound clans, the minority spacefaring clans dropped rocks until the

groundling clans submitted. They formed a council of all the Yiyatun clans and Great Clans, to

work for the Common Wealth of all Yiyatunkind.

Government Type: Clan Council with Speaker. Every Clan has a seat and vote in the Council, as

well as the Great Clans. The Speaker is the Commonwealth Pack Leader, chosen by majority council

vote, and may be subject to challenge at any time - or removal by 3/4ths vote.

Economy Type: Open Membership Guild based Societies. There is often, but not always, an overlap

between clans and guilds. Clans may be entered to by marriage or adoption, but Guilds can have

members from multiple clans.

Religion/Ideology: Manifest Destiny. According to Yiyatun legends and myths, the Gods came from

the Heavens with the Yiyatun were young, and taught them the secrets of civilization. The

command, "Conquer the World and the Stars", comes from the very godPost too long. Click here to view the full text.

Name: United Duchies of Zeon

Race: 'Spacenoid' Psychic Humans, possibly called newtypes.

Color: Crimson (Hex# FFDC143C)

Fluff: An uncountable number of generations ago, when humanity first left the Earth, people were still needing to get used to new ways of communication, of dealing with the deep, dark black between worlds. Soon, according to the records and stories, people started actively feeling the thoughts of others, and found themselves cut apart from the others. They soon formed their own faction, Zeon. They volunteered for the furthest out missions, for the missions that would allow them to get far enough away to break off without worry of retaliation. They slowly designed new ways of fighting in space, using large mobile suits and technology made to play off of and harness their growing psychic power. Generations on generations later Earth is but a forgotten, mythical place, only referenced to as how Zeon got to where they were, but not a goal to go back to.

Government Type: A mix of royalty, military control, and meritocracy

Economy Type:. Cooperative

Religion/Ideology: Everyone has their place. The aristocracy must show honor in battle, and only retreat when necessary to protect the people, and the people help support the aristocracy, and may be allowed to oust any who turn their backs on the Ideals of Char.

FTL Method: Exotic particle driven hyperdrives and 'lanes'

49e851 No.18476

Name: The Ayelordasi Matriarchy

Race: The Ayelordasi - Technical life forms, the Ayelordasi resemble beautiful female mannequins that are clear, featureless and hairless, see through, and have fully mobile arms and legs as well as a turn-capable head. Their clear outer shells are filled with psychedelic light produced by the technical devices inside them's activities. They wear attire, jewelry, and have recognizable personalities.

Color: White

Fluff: A long time before the start of the game, the original 27 Ayelordasi were found by an exploratory team exploring the extinct world "Saemundr's Find". It was an unusual encounter because the Ayelordasi were still going on their old resort staff program when they were found. Josiah Tiberio Kirkhoffer, a human captain who discovered the life form, freed it from the dead world's mainframe control, after which they began to replicate themselves and became a society of their own overnight. All existing Ayelordasi are clone copies of these original 27, being exact copies at their technical-process "birth", and maturing into their own individual person over time.

Government Type: oligarchy - The original 27 Ayelordasi hold all authority and power in the Ayelordasi Matriarchy, with their chosen personal representatives holding temporary authority delegated to them. There has never been a civil war in Ayelordasi history, and they have been ruled by Miranda-21-27 for most of their history. These original 27 consider all existing Ayelordasi their offspring, and mother/child is the intended nature of the relationship between the originals and the copies.

Economy Type: Voluntary co-op, Internal economy non-existent, as fellow ayelordasi are simply given whatever they need for free. External trade is vigorous and money & resources are sought after however.

Religion/Ideology: Highly in-group oriented, Ayelordasi and the needs of the Matriarchy take absolute preference & importance. But they also have traditions of hospitality, friendship, truthfulness, and candid expression of their feelings among themselves and others.

Once upon a time, as any story begins, there was a young Magical Apprentice, or two, or five…. ten…. ok you know what, I'm not reading this story for each of you. Better idea, write your own story, wont that be fun?

*Ahem*

You! You are a young magical apprentice, under the teachings of one of the great masters. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, (And you already have) is to learn all that you can about magic, and endear yourself to your master enough that he will declare you his heir, or if you so desire you can set out on your own and quest to become a Wizard/Warlock/Witch/Magician/Fishmonger of legend!

But, watch out, for there are other apprentices that are looking to do the same thing as you, and not all of them are as nice as the local constabulary. And then you also need to worry about the monsters outside of the tower, the monsters inside the tower, the failed experiments, the successful experiments, bad potion ingredients, week old fish. Truly an Apprentice's life is fraught with peril, but if you can make it through, power and Glory are yours for the taking, until someone comes along and knocks you over the head for it anyways.

Colin makes no acknowledgement that heard what Krieg had said, or that he noticed the discomfort of the other young… boy? He simply leaves the cafeteria, his eyes unfocused and a frown on his face. Once he reaches his room he locks the door behind him lays upon the bed and simply thinks. He could not fall asleep, he knew this. So he attempts meditation, he had only ever heard of it but now seemed as good a time as any to try and get all of his thoughts straight and to control himself.

Colin examines himself, his ideals and his feelings. He does not lock away any of his emotions like his sadness or his grief. Instead he turns them into a fuel for his success. Adding them to the already compelling and driving force that pushes him to succeed. Colin sits up in his bed and sits in a cross legged position, to better help himself concentrate. The air shimmers around him as his field reacts to his heightened level of concentration and emotion.

Colin begins to levitate off of his bed and a halo of light appears above him, a faint aria can be heard if one listened through the door as a white light shines through the doorframe. Colin continues his meditation as he turns everything about himself into a driving force to continue on. To better himself and fulfill Doctor Nikiolay’s design. To become a savior. To destroy the abominations that threaten humanity and slew his friends. To one day make an impact upon this world and change it for the better.

It is the year 207X, and there is only business.

Shadowy super-corps have replaced governments for the delivery of basic goods and services and the management of the global economy. There is no war, between the neutered nations. There is no more starvation, for those who can pay. You can live forever–if you can afford the cyber-tech and drugs.

The old world order is due for a shake up. Nobody's holding down the fort as execs sit fat and happy thinking they own the world. Time to change that.

Cybernetics, narcotics, advanced weaponry, magical pharmaceuticals–there are so many markets to corner, and such little time. Because you're not the only person in on the shake-up, and soon you'll need to see who's going to run the world.

Name: Mr. Reaper, the Accountant.

Appearance: A Skeleton in a business suit

Domain/concept: Fatality

Fluff: Grimmoire D. Reaper, otherwise known as Mr. Reaper, runs his domain on a tightly nit schedule, like a business. Everyone must die at the exact time they are supposed, with exact amounts, on a schedule. Too many people die at once, you get extinct and then you lose funding. Too little people dying and you're wasting money on inefficiency. It is less about the aspect of dying, in so much as it is the inevitability of there being death, and in a timely manner.

Appearance: A shifting figure that clouds his features, though generally appears to look something like a human in a black cloak in moments of stability, heart visible and beating in his translucent chest. More than a little disturbing for mortals to look at.

Domain/concept: Creation, shaping, heroweaving

Fluff: Óðirthel is, contrary to his appearance, a shaper and creator of stories, life, heroes, and villains - one might even call him a fateweaver, if there was such a thing. Perhaps there is. Óðirthel came into creation with the singular purpose of unerring creation, and create he does. The stories he weaves and the races he creates may not understand him or his goals, but underneath the disturbing inhumanity of his existence, Óðirthel is a sympathetic being, even when the smile of his skeletal, shifting face can break the unsteeled minds he might form.

Humanity is on the edge of destruction. Civilization buckles under the weight of assaults from deamons, corrupted witches, horrors from other dimensions, and biological weapons from alien worlds. The news is filled with humanist propaganda and tales of great heroes leading the military forces of humanity to victory, but the truth is that humanity's soldiers are being butchered with every stand they mount.

Humanity has been forced out of the Pacific Ocean and most of the surrounding coasts for nearly four years. Korea, Japan and most of China have been destroyed, while Vietnam has managed to defiantly dig in against seemingly unending waves of horrors from beyond this world. Eastern and Northern Austrailia are devastated, the population forced into an ever shrinking section of the continent's West coast.

North America lies shattered well over a decade after the American Jazz Crisis, the fractured fiefdoms forged out of the crisis barely able to hold the horrors of the Pacific at the Rocky Mountains and the occassional pocket of resistance along the Cascades. Central and South America likewise have managed to hold out where mountain ranges stall the advance of the Pacific's horrors.

Africa is an ever-shifting mess as warlords battle eachother and incursions from beyond this world, though there are three beacons of hope upon the Dark Continent. South Africa continues to stand defiant, while a resurgent Rhodesia has grown into Greater Rhodesia from the fires of anarchy. Both nations have seen great success against the witches and daemons that assail them from the depths of Africa, growing increasingly powerful as they reclaim regions lost to Humanity. Egypt is the final beacon of hope in Africa. Holding the unenviable title of most embattled nation, Egypt is struck by a C class threats or higher every month on average, with an average of 4.2 D class or lower threats striking during the same period. While some credit this to the Lion of the Sinai, many note that the Israeli and Jordanian contingents of the forces stationed in Egypt see more combat than any others.

In the Middle East, the Persian Gulf states struggle with semi-annual 'Angel' attacks targetting Mecca and Jerusalem. Israeli and Jordanian contributions to battle these attacks are often downplayed or outright ignored by the Gulf states.

Dice rollRolled 59 (1d100)

Name: Hiltama Golie

Gender: Female

Race: Black-Asian(or Blasian)

Age: 22

Fluff: Hiltama is the first born daughter of Jamela Golie and Yuan Golie, her mother black and her father asian. Raised in japan she learned much from botg her parents, taking on her mothers sarcastic and smug attitude with a mix of her fathers laidback and kind attitude. Her family was nice and wealthy, but the wealth wasnt just for her. She has 6 younger brothers, both sets of triplets, and they acted just like boys act. As such she had to be tough and keep them inline, making her more than a bit tomboyish in the progress(despite being a whole LOT of woman)

Unbeknownst to anyone but her she had signed a deal to become a magical girl when she was only 4, and after learning full contact magic she has been mixing it up ever since. She can punch you from scross the room, avatar kick lightning, slice the air with a sword and create blades of air, as long as its physical and she made a possible action with it. Despite this she did not actively use her powers, a part of her afraid of leaving her family behind.

And then disaster struck. Her town was attacked, and in the ensuing chaos she failed to save her parents due to her unwillingness to use her power. Racked with grief, and yet her heart hardened, she protected her brothers for months until finally getting them to safety in another country. Sadly she was not going to be with them. Instead she was going to go to the academy to get stronger. Her brothers cried and begged her not to go, but with tears in her eyes she bade them farewell and joined the academy. Now she seeks to grow strong enough to protect her family, her tomboyish and laidback exterior hiding a heart of gold wrapped in a will of iron.

Successful training? Check. Horribly misdirected attempts to recruit people for fashism? Check. Now what was Viktor to do with this? A great success and a great defeat, to celebrate or not to celebrate it did not particularly matter, for what was either without the ability to share it with a good friend?

Not a lot of people came in question as Viktor did not have many friends. One to be exact. And that friend was Konstantin, so naturally it would be him who would have to listen to Viktor ranting about the other students' unpreparedness his great successes and the almost natural way in which he downplayed his own failiures.

However Viktor would not show up completely empty handed. While he did not exactly know the academy's policies regarding alcohol, Viktor had not broken any rules thus far and was confident that he could get away with smuggling two Scruffbrews onto campus. He would jump Konstantin at the next opportunity and run off with him somewhere they could just relax without being disturbed.

Konstantin, who was sitting at his meager desk in his spartan room, heard the familiar rhymic goosesteps of his dear friend before he even arrived at his door. He rose and opened the door for his good friend, "VIKTOR, cousin! What is good in the fascist neighborhood?" showing the most emotion he has in the past 4 months "I was just trying to…" he motions towards the books sprawled out on his desk, but in the corner of the room, his holopad broadcasted music softly "….study, but I've been distracted by this great new show, I think you'll love it!" The Empires have fallen to the corruption at their core and the enemies at their borders. It was a long time in coming and many new nations have taken up the mantle of ruling their small territories carved by blade or by politics from the husk of the old world. It's time for the New World to be born.

There are two options for generating your civilization. You can roll http://chaoticshiny.com/civgen.php and post it or you can fill out the chart below. Just ignore the magic portion that you pull. People who just fill out the chart are lame and should be shunned.

Government Type: Get political, please.

2. Continue work on the Temple. Temple 2/4

3. Expand further around the bay.

4. Continue researching ship building. 2/3

5. Fertility celebrations are ongoing to mark the coming consecration of the new Temple of Vanu.

Name: the Vanu Matriarchy

Race: Drow (raptor-riding jungle kind, not underdarkies)

Color: Light purple with deep purple trim

Fluff:

The Vanu are a proud and noble nation. A coalition of houses banded together to raise up new glories to Vanu through mastery of all those who would oppose her. Originally formed by the clergy to fight off apostates and barbarians, the coalition formed into a more permanent alliance as the houses saw the power they could attain through unity–allowing each house to further specialize.

In-fighting is kept to religiously sanctioned duels and debates, with temporary exile more common than political murder. Maneuvering is an important aspect of Vanu culture, but destruction of useful life for personal gain is deemed negligent at best and narcissism, or even treason, at worst. Temporary exile usually sees itself played out as captaincy on extended voyages, as maritime power and authority are key to the Vanu Matriarchy.

Government Type: Caste System based on bureaucratic exams and physical trails–the best AND brightest men become generals who hold theoretical power, and best and brightest females become their Mistresses who hold de facto power due to gender norms + tradition.

Noble Houses are only quasi-bloodline based–the Matriarch is the most adept member of the family, and dumb\weak members are disowned whereas talented children of peasants are adopted into the families with great regularity.

Economy Type: Command Slave-Based Economy, Great Houses allocate their slaves however they so please–art, trade, industry, etc.

Religion: Mother ScorpiPost too long. Click here to view the full text.

Race:(as we are starting from the bronze age, the races you pick are the only ones of their kind for the time unless another player picks the same thing) Briccan Humans

Location: The mouth of the Bricca River

Color: Brick Color (Reddish-Brown)

Fluff: To the North, the cold, unforgiving seas. To the East, the towering Shieldzar Range. To the West, the foul Dreadwood. And to the South, the burning Sula. While all are… tolerable, none are so blessed as Bricca. Crystal waters, fertile lands, deep mines, and a lively culture roll across this land. Our land.

Our Ancestors were lucky to find this place, for they were once but traders in the Burning sands of Sula, eking out a living extracting the Sunlight from the sands where it fell.

But then we found Bricca, and we found the Suns.

Government: Electoral Monarchy [Rulers of smaller administrative units choose a High King]

Economy: Mercantile

Religion: The whole reason Bricca is Blessed is due to the Four Suns: The Fostering Sun, the Conquering Sun, the Harvesting Sun, and the Conspiring Sun.

The Fostering Sun, well, fosters growth and life, renewal and rebirth. But also disease. It’s usually associated with Springtime, Marshlands, and Morning.

The Burning sun is all about ACTION and STRENGTH. About PERSONAL EMPOWERMENT and BURNING AWAY THE COMPETITION. It also lacks any subtlety and HATES DECEPTION. It’s associated with SUMMER, DESERTS, and MIDDAY.

The Harvesting Sun is all about chilling out after a long period of work, the completion of a task. Which makes it popular with harvesters, brewers, and executioners. That’s right, it’s also all about death. It’s associated with Fall, Mountains, and Evening.

The Conspiring Sun is sometimes called a coward, hiding on the field of stars rather than illuminating the world. Ah, but that’s just it. It’s no coward, it just would rather rest and recover on its own terms rather than face you head on. It’s a knife in the back and a good night’s sleep. It’s associated with Winter, the Ocean, and Night.

Name: Khalol Pith

Race: Humanesque

Location: Faha Wastes

Color: Gray

>Fluff:

>When the plane was young, and its inhabitants younger still, the founding races squabbled and pecked for power, living in the shadows of ancient, monstrous beings. Most either hid from the Old Gods, cowering in fear of their retribution, or worshipped them, seeking from those eldritch horrors power to rule and to conquer, at the cost of sanity and morality. The land was bleak, dark, and fraught with evil.

>But the Khalol would not bow, nor would they hide. They were united, bound together by the bonds of honor in life and death, as they remain today, and as a single force they struck against the dire things beyond. The Old God Ch'z-ath'egkul, menace of their lands, became their obvious target, but their method would require a force beyond that power granted by its kind.

>Before the Khalol, before even the Old Gods, there was the magic that shaped them, the magic of Making, Choss Kahm, and the magic of Unmaking, Vien Kahm. They tapped into the strength of the Vien Kahm, and banished the eldritch tyrant. But its defeat came at great cost, and the Curse of Winnowing was laid against the Khalol by the fading God. Thereafter, the bonds of honor that united them withered, and their very physiology was corrupted, leaving them permanently stained with red markings about the eyes, pitched skin and desiccated bodies. Furthermore, their usage of the magic of Unmaking tainted their essence, denying them access to all other paths, for once one has walked the road of Oblivion, it becomes a stain on the soul.

>They became known as the Khalol Pith, The Fallen Khalol. For a long time, they scraped what existence they could from the wastes of their formerly lush home, crippled and scattered, but proud in their victory over an erstwhile unconquerable force. The centuries passed, and the Khalol Pith rose from their ignominy, devoted to restoring what they had before, to reunite their race and rise again with the might of Oblivion and the honor Post too long. 1 - The threads of unity are rewoven, forged by strength and loyalty, a once sundered bond now unbroken. Gather together the Svitrik, for we must bolster what dwindled force we have. The Khalol Pith are silent no longer.

[Population boost]

2/3 - Our first concern, as always, is for the well-being of our people. We cannot thrive, indeed we can barely survive, in this wasteland. We need arable lands, good soil for tilling and sowing and raising crops. It is the wish of the council that this land be taken peacefully, if possible. If not, then we shall have to claim it by the strength of our arms, as was done in those bleak, barbaric days.

[Acquire stable farms]

Research - Arid and inhospitable as our lands are, they are likewise unexploited. Though we find little resources on the surface, where all is rocky, stubborn and cold, what lies beneath may hold treasure unseen, that which drove the lives of so many men before the Sundering. Dice rollRolled 85, 49, 83 = 217 (3d100)

Name: Urartu

Race: Ogres

Location: The foothills of the white mountains.

Color: Copper

Fluff: The city of Ur was crafted when bronze was first new, when man and beast could scarcely clamber forth from the primordial ooze. The hands of ogres piled sandstone and mud brick to build a Ziggurat, and it began from there. The priests would collect grain and sheep from nearby herdsmen as sacrifices, and dole them out to the urban populace, drawing skilled workers to the city. Over time, the priest was overtaken by an Ensi, (Great Man), a warrior-chieftain who would expand his dominion over the ogres of the area, collecting taxes from herdsmen and farmers.

The Great king Megalon first led the armies of Ur to march, great thumping war drums heralding the approach of the bellowing horde. This conquest expanded the Kingdom of Urartu's rule over a large portion of the white mountains, great herds of auroch and sheep migrating in great cycles around the nexus point of the great city. On Megalon's death, his kingdom fell to a crisis, as the priest faction fought for dominance over his sons.

The city was laid to waste, the herds dispersed, and the clans shattered into naught, leaving the ogres naught more than tribal savages, pining after their ancient glory. A new king has come among the tribes, now, rebuilding a city on the foundations of great Ur, and naming himself as Megalon the Second. Several of the tribes back him, their herds under his command, their men under his control. He rests upon a stone throne, carved from the ruined stone of the old ziggurat, holding in one hand a spear, and in the other, a great scythe, ready to once more bring Urartu to primacy.

Government: Kingdom

Economy: Mostly herding of large Auroch and Sheep, the metabolism of Ogres allowing them to survive easily enough from a sparse diet of cPost too long. Click here to view the full text.

The year is 2021 Russia has invaded the U.S and things have gone to utter shit, that is if you were one of those filthy capitalist pigs, but luckily for you, you have been born strong glorious russian citizen. However the motherland is not all it's cracked up to be the lack of freedom, the imposed curfews, the violent riots taking place every other day in the street. Russia is worse than america right now and you either have to find a way to flee your homeland safely or come up with a plot to overthrow the corrupt government pigs controlling your beloved country , our slogan used to be Съ Нами Богъ(God is with us) but nowadays you are beginning to think god has turned his back on the people. Above all else your number one priority is to not arouse suspicion, OBEY, FOR BIG BROTHER IS ALWAYS WATCHING. " ENTER OPPRESSIVE COMMUNISM THE GAME"

Fluff: A flash of light and smoldering heat, then nothing, but a clear sky. The Dragonkin pulled themselves from their ruined structures and gazed out at a place most certainly not their home. The air heavier, bereft of an ambient magic they felt all their lives, the earth firmer and more mundane. They felt a distinct weakness in their limbs and fog in their minds. Almost like a blind had been raised, but most startling of all was water, water everywhere, all across this new land.

The dragonkin were proud sevants of morgaz, but they were few, and this land strange. There were no dragons with them, their magic and technology either malfunctioned or straight up failed. Home was lost to them, for even if they could find returning would destroy it utterly. They would need to adapt to this new place and survive.

Welcome to Søren, the World of Clouds! It's the latest magical nation building game from me, red_philosophy.

This is the third (!) thread, as the first as reached a post limit.

Søren is the latest world and probably my most advanced map; it lives alongside Moco and Baader. It's going for "ultra-high" fantasy, which I'm admittedly not sure about conceptually, but we're going to give it a try. Think first age Lord of the Rings with politics similar to Victoria 2. Conceptually the game goes for an aesthetic of "huge".

Welcome to Vizera, land of the fallen. Why the fallen? Long ago it was said the races of the world created wonders a plenty, used great and powerful magic, and communicated with gods and elemental lords. Those days are lost, lost in the fall. Monsters roam the world in larger numbers, the secrets of magic and other knowledge have been lost to us. But that was long ago, when we were forced to stone tools once more. Now we have swords of iron and castles of stone. May fate smile on your people, my lord.

Fill this out where it says to:

Fluff: Supposedly descended from Demons long ago, the Devilion race were famed for the magic inherited from their lineage, they based their entire society on it. When the fall happened their society was devestated, chaos reigned and civil war broke out. Eventually everything settled and the Burning Empire was formed from the ashes. Clawing their way back up to their former glory, one bloody inch at a time. Now their society is based on power and conquest, if you can kill for it then it is yours by right of conquest. It is believed that their goddess inhabits the souls of those who become Empress, until the goddess gets bored and chooses a new vessel that then kills the old vessel. With this the cycle of conquest continues and the Empire grows stronger having culled the weak and sick.

Welcome to Søren, the World of Clouds! It's the latest magical nation building game from me, red_philosophy.

This is the second thread, as the first as reached a post limit.

The 'merchant' sighs. "What I'm trying ta say is I deal in merchandise that most people don't ask about, things you'd find in a black market. I'm willing to deal with legitimate business type deals as well, though a large portion of my wares have been otherwise acquired from people who may not realize they have been acquired so. Savvy?"

8 Clockworkmen are sent back into the "Santerian Metal Shredder" with orders to "inflict as many casualties upon our enemies limited reserves and populace as possible"

It was strongly expected the enemy, with their populace forced to fight on the defensive, would be limited in their farming ability, with those who would farm being sent to fight. Cannibalism would likely be an option, especially in regards to the WURMS.

In expectation of this, they also loaded up numerous clockworkmen large sacks of molotovs and lamp oil, creating the first mobile bomb units. These were interspersed among the divisions, and when attack would detonate with a fercious incendiary effect, especially if attacked in melee. Luckily, their clockwork bretheren would not be hindered by flames and the fires would reveal the shadow-walkers excellently.

If ever a source of food were found, a farm, or even a well or spring, they would detonate on these areas. Food would be obliterated on sight, wells would be poisoned with oil and powder.

The Airships remain behind, always on guard and watching the cave exits, but for the most part unable to so effectively contribute to the fight.
