A simpler builder as I wait for people to post in Reforged. Second priority. System rules below:

http://pastebin.com/hDMENCEw

The year is 706 AUC, a year that might be eventually declared forty-eight years before the birth of Christ. The brilliant orator and esteemed general Gaius Julius Caesar has proclaimed himself the Dictator of Rome after besting his rival Pompey at the battle of Dyrrhachium, striding triumphantly into Rome. The Senate have granted him a Triumph, in name for his military victories in Gaul and Egypt. They are the most spectacular ceremonies the world has ever seen. A Gaul Chieftain earns his freedom by gutting four lions with nothing more than a bronze dagger - a Luperci from the College of Pontiffs tears a full Contubernium limb from limb with naught but his mind and invocations to the Wolves of Rome - A Minotaur gouges the eyes of a troll until the mighty beast finally ceases movement - Two manned Triremes clash on the flooded field of Mars.

The spectacle is the most magnificent performance Rome has ever assembled - and, by extension, that of the world's as well. Far below the glorious stand where Caesar himself, flanked by his loyal friends in Mark Antony, Brutus, and Octavian, a shadowy face watches, in the jam-packed, noisy stands of the poor. A man shouts of Decadence as one of the sparring Greeks impales a valiant slave with a trident, prompting the men around to boo his words out before returning to the ear-shattering din of cheers. Reluctantly, the shadowed face is made to tear itself away from the glorious spectacle. This visit to Rome was temporary, and the figure cannot afford to stay to watch the conclusion of Caesar's Triumph. A ship leaves for the far-flung colony it calls home - where a Class IV Arena, three degrees separated from the venerable grounds of Rome, awaits.

Slinking out of the crowd, a hood is pulled back, a face no longer in shadow. Who is underneath?

What a surprise, he's Irish. (As far as I remember, it's been a while since I made one.)

Name: Incaendium (Birth Name: Straif)

Gender: Male

Fluff: The peoples of Britannia are seldom seen in continental Europe. This is due, in part, to the fact that it hasn't been conquered yet. Even then, only a few will set foot upon the land to the West. This is a shame, for the isle is fertile, green, and an ideal source of slaves and grain. However, there are a select few from the British Islands who travel to the continent in search of fame, power, or wealth. Incaendium is one of these travelers. Hailing from the warrior tribe which Ptolemy would dub the Eblani, between the rivers Liffey and Boyne, Incaendium went first to Britannia, in wanderlust, where he traveled the land over, from the land of the Picti in the North, to the land of the Damonii in the south. From there, he made his way to Gallia, where he was encountered by the returning forces of the victorious Caesar. Knowing that even with the prowess in combat which living in a warrior culture instilled in him, he could not resist any more than a few Roman soldiers, he was taken as another slave, and given his epithet, Incaendium, the Latin word for a wildfire, for his wild and red hair. After Caesar entered Rome, the slaves of his train were given away, or sold. Incaendium was given as an exotic gift to an equestrian family, who he served dutifully as a manual slave for a time. There, he learned a few words of Latin, in addition to his native Gaeilge Ársa. One day, not too long ago, he was accompanying one of his masters into town, escorting him to a fine, upstanding establishment with many classy women residing within. The pair were accosted by a pair of robbers, carrying long knives. The equestrian (in disguise, to protect his reputation), did not have his sword with him, and his slave was unarmed. However, Incaendium grabbed a nearby fence picket, and forcefully tore it from the ground. He hurled the stake at one of the assailants, piercing his breast, before charging at the other, bowling him over, and beating him to death. After the shake up, the equestrian decided that a better profession for his slave would be as a gladiator. In a matter of days, the gael was shipped off to the nearest class IV arena, to earn his master coin, and himself fame, or even freedomPost too long. Click here to view the full text.

For years, harsh and unforgiving Primal World has kept any intelligent life that manages to take hold in isolated pockets, while beasts that are bigger, stronger, and more deadly roam the land unhindered, but no longer. Some of the intelligent beings of Primal World have formed small but powerful city-states, and have begun expanding their influence through the mountains, jungles, savannas, and grasslands of their world. What's more, scouts have told the people of their cities tales of ancient, all-powerful beings, offering great power to those that share their ideals. Will you help to preserve the Primal World's natural state, bend it to your will, or ignore these Ancients, and forge your own path?

Not even a hundred years ago the Tolnari empire was prominent across the continent. Across the continent soldiers patrolled roads and protected trade from monsters. Arts, sciences, and magic were studied and put to use. The Tolnari pushed for conquest upon all fronts, bringing slaves and wealth to the empire. That was until they ran out of fronts to colonize or conquer. The nobles of the empire fell into decadence, the people and the slaves suffered, and the army demanded more and more wealth. It did not take long for order in the empire to collapse as multiple factions tore at each other for their own goals, whether power or freedom. With soldiers drawn to fight across the continent monsters retook their old hunting grounds and trade slowed.

Cities burned, knowledge lost to the fires. In the end all that was left were many of the cities that stayed neutral, tribes that were formerly oppressed, and others who stayed out of the fighting. The empire fell, and the world began to rebuild. Now new kingdoms rise and lost knowledge shall be found again. Will you rise, or fall to ruin?

The year is 1550. Spring.

Once, the clans of Japan cooperated, more or less peacefully, with the laws of the Emperor– and more importantly, with the laws of the Ashikaga Shogunate. In recent decades, however, the over-mighty clans have ceased to listen to the dictates and ramblings of the vestigal shogunate, and Japan's many warlords have given little more than lip service. Five years ago, the Ashikaga were driven from Kyoto entirely, reduced to exiled puppets… until now.

Ashikaga Yoshiteru has returned from exile, and his loyal supporters have bloodlessly taken back Kyoto. Yoshiteru wants the humble and gracious daimyo of Japan to know one thing above all– the Ashikaga hold the reins of power, and their word is law.

Some lords and samurai have fallen in line and obey the dictates of the Shogun. Others refuse to suspend their bids for power and prestige, continuing to war with their neighbors. And some, it is said, quietly and not in the Shogun's presence, want to take Kyoto for themselves, and seize control of Japan accordingly.

In the next fifty years, Japan's future will be decided. What part you play, how you will be remembered– that is up to you.

DAIMYO NAME: Kinami Naoko

CLAN: Kinami, nominal vassals of the Ashikaga Shogunate

BACKGROUND: Naoko has only recently come into adulthood. Fourteen years old and still scarcely more than a boy, he owes his position of Daimyo to his aging uncle - a man who has protected the young heir nigh obsessively for eight long years ever since the young lord's father died under suspicious circumstances.

Largely sheltered inside his family's stronghold, Naoko has not yet learned how to be an especially effective leader of men - but having been present at court for more of his life than not, he is a darling to courtiers as far away as the Kyoto and Kyushu, having received and treated with all sorts of dignitaries passing through his family's territory as they make their way inland from the coast. His grip on the diplomatic rituals of the Japanese nobility may well be second to none, and some of the best tutors money can buy have found themselves endeared to the young Daimyo's wide-eyed willingness to learn what they have to impart, whether that be numeracy, accounting, agriculture, architecture or the fine arts of calligraphy and poetry.

As he grows older, however, he becomes increasingly aware that not all outside the castle walls is as peaceful as his doting uncle and blissfully ignorant courtiers would have him believe. Clashes between nobles threaten to consume the entire island nation in destructive bloodshed, and while Naoko hopes to uncover what happened to his father all those years ago, his court - and especially his uncle - hope just to weather the coming storm.

DOMAINS: Kii

FORCES:

FAMILY: Uncle (Kinami Masaru) - Though the older of two brothers, Masaru was passed over for Naoko's father due to a long-forgotten dishonour and a disinclination for rulership. BATTLE OF INABA: EARLY WINTER, 1556. INABA CHIKAYOSHI VERSUS YAMATO KATATAKE

CHIKAYOSHI: 1,442 General's Bodyguard, 56 Katana Cavalry, 31 Yari cavalry, 92 Katana Samurai, 150 Bow Samurai, 169 Ashigaru Spears. CAVALRY ADVANTAGE: NEGATED. MORALE: CONCERNED

27-2-4 = 21

21 TOTAL

YAMATO KATATAKE: 2,994.4 TOTAL. MISSILE ADVANTAGE: OVERWHELMING. NUMBERS ADVANTAGE: OVERWHELMING. FORCE ADVANTAGE: OVERWHELMING. MORALE: EAGER.

63+10-4+2+8+8+12 = 99

99 VS 21

It is a slaughter, quick and simple. The Yamato encircle the retreating Inaba and close in for a swift and savage strike. As the light dies, so do the Inaba defenders: culled by the score by arrows, crushed beneath hooves and chariot wheels, skewered by spears and laid low by blinding lashes of the sword. To their credit, they expect no quarter and fight to the last, even if such a last stand consists of flailing helplessly against a bristling wall of gore-slicked yari.

In perhaps ten minutes it is all over. The Inaba lay dead. And a clear road to their capital presents itself.

YAMATO: lose 60 ashigaru spears. Lose 2 Chariots. Lose 20 Ashigaru Bows.

TRAITS: [Untempered] - Naoko is young– some may quietly argue that he is too young. While this means that his foes will grow fat on hubris and have much to lever against him, this also means that he has quite a bit of untapped potential. Researching all abilities is easier for you. May 16th 2017. It was a normal day in LA. The sun was shining, the waves crashed upon the beach, President Man Guy was giving a speech, and the people are still crazy. That was until the sky fell, and the mist came. Around the world and across the news, until the power went out. Large asteroids crashed across the world and the world was enveloped by a mist. Many who were trapped outside collapsed, and either died or were changed. You were one of those trapped outside, but you did not die in the mist. You awake in the streets paved by shattered glass and cracked concrete. The power is out and bodies lay strewn about.

Arron was about to speak but with this new information he goes back to mumbling to himself before Tinna slaps him out of it. "Now is NOT the time to be spacing out Arron!" "Sorry, sorry. There should be aerosol in a supply closet for the janitors, as for lighters." Arron simply reaches into his pocket and produces a lighter "My major can be a bit stressful."

The end times are upon the United States of America, and soon upon the whole world. The country's greatest heroes and villains have fallen against an ironclad evil– a legion of robotic, laser-toting skeletons led by the insidious Skeleton Prime. Much of the country has fallen into its grip– few capable of standing up to this horrid foe still remain.

That is where YOU come in. You are a superhero, a supervillain, a super-whatever– and because of your pitiful, overlooked, D-List status, you were not targeted by the Skeleton forces nor asked to fly into battle against them. And so you have survived.

Now, with the League of Righteousness dead and most of D.O.O.M slain or AWOL, it is YOUR time to rise up, defeat the Cyber Skeleton Legions, and claim that sweet, sweet superhuman street cred for your own.

CHARACTER SHEET

Name: The name the superhuman community and the news know you by. Secret identity optional.

Age: Approximate, as needed.

Origin Story: How YOU became a superhuman/alien/dog, and the basis for your superpowers and super-equipment.

Blood Type: Fill this out.

Signature Color: Pick a color. One that I can actually access in MSPaint. You may want to wait until the map-wipe for this.

Domain: Doctor Doom has Latveria, Batman has Gotham. You have your own domain, represented by your Signature Color. The bigger your domain, the more resources you can draw upon, but the harder it is to defend.

Superpowers: Determined by Fluff/Origin Story.

Equipment: Determined by Fluff.

Followers: Determined by Fluff.

Renown: Starts at D-List

With a trembling surge of magic, the spirit tore open a scremaing portal to the nether-realm, uncovering a hellish landscape of screaming demons, flayed bodies, churning lava and cracking whips. But it was not Hell that it went; rather, it was to the astral plane, a whirling dreamscape of white sands, lavender skies and undulating currents of raw magical power. Here, similar to the Chaos Wilds, magic ran free… he would have an easy font of power from which to draw upon more powerful spells, so that he could, perhaps, recuperate… regroup…

"Enough."

An object of pure, icy pain plunged itself into the spirit's host, gripping hard at the heart– or, rather, at the spirit's own essence. It looked in terror to see Prime, purple eyes glinting maliciously in the strange light, his magical arm firmly embedded in the flesh and blood of its host. Try as it might to weave a spell, force a movement, squeak out a noise, it was no use; it could only watch with dread as Prime slowly, painfully peeled it away from the magical bonds keeping it within its home of blood and bone.

"You disappoint me. Had you truly expected to subvert my powers with such a pathetic trick? I walk with the strongest magi on Earth." A shuddering wave of white light as the spirit was torn fully from its host, hoisted into the air in its true form, a vaguely humanoid vestige of whirling chaos.

"None can oppose me. Certainly not you." Prime lazily flicked the wrist of his other hand, still hidden beneath his cloak, and the battered, gasping form of spirit's former host stopped with a sickening crunch emanating from his skull. "And soon, I will expand my dominion across the multiverse. All dimensions, all shards, all will kneel before Prime.

"It is such a shame," Prime hissed, magical energy gathering in his clenched fist, "that you will not -exist- to bear witness."

As the skeletal hit-squad opened up on Pulse, there was a great shuddering and cracking from the earth. Dragoon tore great spikes of stone and dirt from the ground, skewering all Skeletal combatants even as Pulse laid down a withering wave of energy, safe from behind his energy shield. On cue, Pulse's team and Dragoon's survivors took places behind barricades and palisades of rock and metal, letting loose a deluge of powers and bullets onto both Q2 and the few remaining Skeleton Praetorians that had not collapsed into slag from Pulse's energy blasts.

As the Supreme Overcommander raised his trumpet to his "lips", he found himself wrapped up tight in the Hell-Rider's chain. With an uproarious laugh, the demonic bruiser swung his skeletal victim around like a wrecking ball, slamming him this way and that into debris and oncoming shards of stone and earth. He nimbly danced around oncoming blasts of psionic force and sonic screams, and only grinned at Q2's increasingly erratic resistance.

Amid the confusing jumble of powers and pain, Pulse's eyes widened as he conjured up his most powerful blast yet. He sent this one hurtling right towards Hell-Rider, a crackling bolt of white destruction, and the demon-man saw what he was going for. With a chuckle, he uppercut Q2 high into the air and brought him down, hard, towards the ground, slamming into Pulse's blast an instant before meeting with the spike-covered earth, creating a magnificent explosion of white light and dust.

Hell-Rider shook dirt off of his form and reeled Q2 in. The machine was half-melted, with hints of blackened bone showing beneath cybernetics and molten gold. His eyes flickered feebly, and when the chain coil relaxed around him he only fell to the blasted remnants of his knees, unaPost too long. Click here to view the full text.

The Empire of Loar ended one-hundred and fifty-one years ago, to the day, or so surviving histories say. Southern rebels, enraged by continued abuses of power, waged a great and terrible War on the Empire of Loar, and at the end of four years of carnage, unleashed a strange and terrible magic that turned the once-verdant fields of Loar into a lifeless desert that poisoned all that ventured there. But they had vastly underestimated the strength of their spell: the rebels, too, were consumed by the terrible power of Flux.

Without the Empire's legions to build roads, without the Empire's farms to supply food, without the Empire's magistrates to keep order, the continent devolved into a hundred years of famine and warfare. Only now have the former subjugated states built up just enough of their own strength to rightfully call themselves "nations." Only now is there hope for the future, even as whispers abound of ships of metal sighted off of the coasts and strange white-cloaked figures that ambush and drag away those venturing too close to the Wasting Sands. Even the great and terrible ancient beasts of the land feebly stir, sensing, perhaps, that, very soon, history will be made…

NATION NAME: Free States of Goblonia

RACE: Goblins, a short weak cowardly green skinned race that breed like rabbits.

LORE: The Free States of Goblonia are a variety of small goblin clans banded together for protection against those who would enslave and raid them. In the times of Loar the Goblin race where used heavily for slave labor and cannon fodder for the imperial armies due to their massive growth rate, the imperial war machine was said to have been fueled with the blood of goblins. In the years following the Flux the goblins flourished without without the oppressive regime the goblins flourished banding together in many clans spread across the land. The industry of the goblins drew many raiders across the land wishing to reap their fertile land and subjugate the goblins. The first elected Grand Marshal of the Free States of Goblonia, William Thule is a hard goblin borne of countless battles against slavers and other malevolent forces. NATION NAME: The City State of Domino

RACE: Human

LORE: All that stood tall all that was great is now tarnished and shattered. The wise among us are certain; the Empire was lost before the Flux took its toll. The accord of imperial power brought low by sabotage or worse; Abuse. They say they lost the traditions that preserved purpose in form and restraint in power that makes a worthy Nation.

The city-state of Domino which had started as a humble colony of scholars and entrepreneurs would survive the years of carnage and famine and work to rebuild its strength by rehabilitating the surrounding countryside and nurturing the development of fellow men who flee the destruction brought by the Flux then repaying the people of Domino with loyalty. The wise and the powerful would for many years council the citizens of Domino and the vassal tribes who flocked to the city that held the promise of health and strength until such a time they would be blessed with leadership needed to reform their strength to make it suitable for grander purpose.

LEADER: Bob

Wyrdsign: The Puzzle-Solver. Bob's puzzle gave him strange powers of insight and charisma. You gain a +5 to researching magic and spellcasting, and public order penalties are lessened.

Bob had tended his magic to a deeply tanned man shrouded in a white cloak who in lieu of payment offered a strange puzzle box containing many pieces made of solid dust of a golden hue. LORE: http://pastebin.com/wjSELP47

LEADER: http://pastebin.com/vAhK372e

The Khan - Ashira's cunning and brutality know few equals. +15 to Personal Combats, +5 to raiding and scavenging.

BASIC RESOURCES: Food 8, Dust 5, Wood 10, 3 Stone, 2 Lesser Metals

SPECIFIED RESOURCES:

MILITARY: 250 Khanate Nomads (T1 Cavalry), 388 Khanate Hunters (T1 Bows) (638, -1 Food/Turn)

HEROES:

SETTLEMENTS: Loaranda T1 Nomad Settlement - Foodstores (+1 Food/Turn)

TECHNOLOGIES: Cavalry I, Bows I, Foraging II, Raiding I, Horse Archery I

MAGIC: Runic

WYRDSIGNS: The Corrupted - No mortal race was ever meant to walk the Wasting Sands, and though cunning has kept the Khandom alive, it cannot keep them untouched. The Khandom's people are resistant to disease, poison and corruption, magical or otherwise, and know how to make food last. You consume 1 food for every 700 units you have.

The Scourges - The Khandom has no concept of peace or civility. Others have things that they need to survive, and so, they will take those things, either from their deserted homes or their bloodied corpses. You gain a +10 to raiding and pillaging, and your "settlement" is mobile. However, it, and any other settlements you construct, can only be upgraded to Tier 2.

CORRUPTION - Flux Poisoning, Level 1

1. Archers in an army have never been about being accurate. Its nice if it is, but for an archer, the point is to make as many shots as possible, as poPost too long. Click here to view the full text.

Tales have been told of a planet, rich in resources which, up until now, was only frequented by space pirates hiding momentarily from fleets and warships. Perhaps you were sent by your nation to colonize this planet for your King. Maybe you've fled here to start your own nation to escape a prosecution. Maybe you just like the thought of adventure. Whatever you're reasoning, you have arrived on this planet.

Independent nations are free to do as they wish however they are on their own when it comes to building, expanding and surviving.

Colonies are supported by an already developed interplanetary nation (controlled by the GM) and can request food, water and military help among other things however, they may also be required to perform tasks or pay taxes to this nation. If the requests of the nation is ignored or refused, they may send troops to retake the colony

Please state where you plan on landing on the planet

Will probably check the thread a couple times a day and will update when all current players have posted for the rounf

Nation Name: Most Holy Expedition of Seli II

Colour: Yellow

Race/s: The Dren'ka

Race Fluff: The Dren'ka are a reptilian race from a hot world covered in mostly jungles, deserts, or arid land depending on how close you were from local water supplies. The Dren'ka are omnivores with retractable claws mainly used for climbing to reach fruit in the tall jungle trees of their homeworld. They have two legs with feet holding an X pattern of toes strong enough to grip around tree trunks and two arms with hands similar to human hands with 3 fingers and a thumb. They have a tail mainly used to maintain balance but with some practice individuals can use their tail to grip items weakly.

Nation Fluff: The Holy Star Ascencion is the theocratic oligarchy of the Dren'ka with the seat of power remaining on their homeworld of Dren. Due to a twist of fate an early faith of the Dren'ka believed that all stars were gods and their sun was just the god of their world, giving life to all things. With scientific exploration into space their faith was only redoubled. The faith pushed and converted until it was the dominant faith of the world. Most things, mostly weapons and technology not seen every day, dealing with light or plasma were starting to be considered holy as light itself was a blessing from the gods. After the discovery of Light Crystals the use of hard light weapons and shielding tech became the go to armaments of the faithful, while some still looked into plasma or laser based systems. Soon though the FTL drive was invented and the world was quickly unified in the light, some by force. Now the Dren'ka spread through the galaxy, settling words to spread the faith and gather resources.

The colony on Seli II is only one such colony.

2. Enduring plants could make for some interesting fibre if extracted. Dr. D would investigate the plants components further. Perhaps he could find some properties he could then apply to another animal, plant or even sentient species.

3. Start writing a Journal about the planet and its various species and plants. Surely it would come in handy in the long run. There would be no need for a lengthy introduction of himself as Dr. D did not plan on publicating it.

Nation Name: United Electorate of Dominions

Race: Human

Location: Positive 18

Background: The UED is a reactionary government. While Light Elementals had always existed only in the past hundred years had mankind developed the means to actually speak with them. What followed was literally magic. Humanity convinced the elementals to teach it how to utilize the connection with pure energy that the Plane had that had given birth to such creatures. By harnessing Light itself Humanity was gifted with the power that it had lacked. Weapons, tools, magic, and transportation were all changed by the discovery. Light - once harnessed into Luxum - could provide heat, project death, move goods, and banish the night. Fragmented nations warred with each other in bloody conflicts, and it was only by the realization that they would cause their own destruction that they set aside their arms and founded the UED - a republic where each Governor is granted an equal vote in affairs. Not long after the formation of the UED Light Magic was taken a step further from intercontinental travel to inter-planar. This was the biggest achievement and the final test of the UED. The flag would be planted on new Planes, new races would be met, and new Dominions added to the Electorate.

Even with its many political and arcanotech developments there was little changing the nature of Man. Where battles had been fought with large formations of soldiers they were now fought with word and with coin. The biggest political jockeying was always for the favor of the Elementals, who still maintained the largest Light sources for maximum luxum and thus maximum power. In the Electorate warfare is politics.

Race: Titans of Earth and Stone

Location: Positive 19

Background: +19, The Weeping Plane, is a blighted plane, a swelteringly hot ball of desert land and gray stone seas, without a drop of water or single trace of organic life across its geometric surface, instead enveloped in eternal storms of withering sand. Yet on +19, inbetween great jutted 'megafauna' of enormous crystal spires, maddening rock formations and incomprehensible mountains, a life of its own flourishes. Ten thousand years ago, from the Great Mountain of the Earth, a great structure of Stone and Crystal arose. This was Azak-Eil, First among Gods. Azak-Eil walked the empty lands of The Weeping Plane for three centuries before from its unbreakable from was birthed a figure of minute stature, and then thirty more; from these the tribe of Azak-Eil was formed.

The smaller creatures, dubbed the Attendants, provided many useful services to Azak-Eil. They strengthened his form, spoke to him of philosophy and science, and discovered many good things from the infinite stone of the Weeping Plane - a source which seemed to never diminish, for the eternal sandstorms grew the mountains and megastructures to ever-greater heights. Eventually, the rites of creation that had created Azak-Eil himself were discovered; from this derived the Tribe of Bov, the Tribe of Uzon Ytz, the Tribe of Ophon and the Tribe of Kru-Grol. Over three thousand years, the tribes of these five mighty titans hewed an impenetrable citadel upon the Great Mountain of the Earth, spawning many smaller Titans within their tribes. Yet the tribes had an emptiness in their soul. They felt no desire to fight one another, but their speech and discoveries seemed hollow, stained, uncertain, as though something was tearing at the peace and serenity they should rightfully feel in building their citadels and herding their tribes. It was Ophon, the Wisest Among Them, that realized why this was, and why the Weeping Plane wept so with its eternal storms; the fabric of reality must be tainted. On a quest to dPost too long. Its native inhabitants are the gnolls, a savage nation of hyenas twisted into humanoid form by their dark god, Yeenoghu, the demon prince of their kind. Numbering in the millions on their home continent, their cruelty and savagery is offset only by their own fearful nature and lack of industry, existing as a brutal theocracy from which they are directly controlled by the dark lord from the top down. His high priest is the only individual capable of setting these brutes in line, and areas that escape their gaze tend to devolve into savagery.

There was once a colony of human outsiders who lived on this world, giving the planet its name and trying their best to make the most of their new home, apparently unable or unwilling to return from wherever they came. Though unimaginably advanced compared to the natives, the deck was stacked against those who would intrude upon Yeenoghu's lair, and a century of war followed as humanity struggled to adapt to an environment where the very metals of the ground sought their misfortune, each year leading to more and more outposts being overrun and sacrificed on the altar by the demon's servants. The Endymion Galaxy, home to hundreds of species and thousands of habitable worlds. The Council of Civilized Worlds and Fleets or CCWF have for centuries presided over it's disparate and at times fractious member worlds for mutual prosperity to a greater or lesser degree.

All that changed roughly a decade when the Dris'tarr, extragalatic invaders, came to Endymion. They conquered planets uncaring about the original inhabitants, enslaving or killing them as they went. The massive bureaucracies of the CCWF were slow moving and few had a clear picture of the situation as reports from the fringe systems were unclear. Thus the Dris' Tarr continued only marginally slowed taking more and more systems. Few people and races cared unless they were close to proximity, after all only the fringes were affected, nonetheless the invaders pushed deeper. Then a second front was opened and the people began to panic. These monsters had more than one fleet, and there were coordinating to take as much territory as possible. The CCWF began to move, most of it's member states mobilizing for war, something they were unused too, for it had been absent for a long time, and stagnation had set in.

The CCWF tried it's best to stop the forces, but their small peacekeeping fleet was annihilated at battle of Aceldama, due to commander hubris and overall shoddy tactics. This panicking the populace even more, as shortly thereafter a third invasion theatre opened in earnest. The Dris'Tarr slowly but inexorably crushing races and fleet piecemeal before moving on to the next target. For several months it seemed all was lost.

The tipping point was at the battle of Drakhisia. A Solarian fringe colony, Drakhisia was of little import on the galactic scale, but it was held be a ancient and venerable race. The Solarians had not been idle in the years since the Dris'Tarr showed themselves, They had been mobilizing like the younger races, and had been taking their old warfleet out of mothballs. Their warfleet met the first invasion fleet of the enemy, their strongest, fastest and best, and turned the battle in a slaughterhouse. The Solarians were still unused to war after such a long sojourn, but they had enough ships and technology to give the invaders a true fight, the first real one they haPost too long. The Defiance is nearly gutted and will require a near total rebuild, while a new drive system is needed for the Red Lightning. Given that the prototypes was at this juncture unique, a more conventional engine would be necessary.

The Fleet is for the moment licking it's wounds, the lion's share of the salvage given to the Ken'Gar to placate them for the loss of their fleet.

The 478th held off the probe Helena station with minimal losses.

Contact has been lost with the Marano Colonies. The Dris'tar seem to have landed at several ruin sites and utterly destroyed most of the settlements on planet.

The 478th is en route to deny them any assets.

The 13th, bloodied, demoralized and nearly broken are allowed time to rest and prepare.

Homeworlds Notified: Beteje (Summercat), Ultia (Morgoth), Kontia (Tansen)

Morgoth Gains: Vilified: People really dislike you for some reason. A LOT.

The Red Lightning will either need to send for a new engine or somehow buy one before repairs can be completed.

The Resolute Defiance will take some time to repair, However the Ultians will both be footing the bill and lending expertise to the endeavor. However if the Midloathians want the cruiser's "Phalanx shield" operational they will need to secure techs of their own for it, as the technology is completely foreign to others in the theatre.

Conventional repairs

Red Lightning 2 turns

Resolute Defiance 10 Turns

Captain Name: Captain Amman-15

Captain Fluff: The fifteenth Amman, or void drone, of the captain level. She was specifically picked out by older Captain Amman and a Geneticist drone. She was then thrust into his study to command a ship under the tutelage of her elder with the aid of all the knowledge of voidcraft, tactics, and military doctrine available. Upon her tenth year of life she was put into the combat simulations where she showed spectacular results against a variety of threats both solo and in team based simulations. It was noted by the Commander drones that she had a tendancy to attempt to keep her comrades alive even when the simulation was designed to cause a certain amount of casualties, or even a suicide run. Upon her graduation she was put in charge of a ship suited for this purcurluar quirk in personality.

Race: Giltrazzi, a hive based insectoid species. They have a highly structured society based on the type of drone that is born, which is further enhanced by the use of genetic engineering to create new types of drones including those more suitible for living in void craft. Mainly use pheremons to communicate. Drones carry the common look of being quadrapedal with two arms, black carapace, multi-lensed eyes and furry antenna.

Ship Name: HCS Ion Doctor

Ship Fluff: A Light Cruiser focused on the carrying, maintenance, and deployment of drone fighters and support drones used to keep the ships of the fleet in top shape.

Class: Light Carrier

Armament: 1 Laser Array

Defenses: Medium armor, PDF array. 1 Medium Shield Emitter

Auxillaries: 3 Fighter wings, 2 Bomber wings, 1 Recovery wing

Bonuses and Eccentricities:

+/-No Drone Left Behind!: You gain bonuses to repairing and recovery of ships and their personnel, however you cannot willingly leave someone behind, ever.

+Replaceable: Your combat drones and pilots are easily replaced, asPost too long. Click here to view the full text.

Captain Name: Yrlix-Vran

Class: Destroyer

Armament: 1 Missile Launcher, 1 Laser Array, 1 Coilgun

Defenses: Medium Armor, Medium Shield

Auxillaries: Electronic warfare Suite

Bonuses and Eccentricities:

+/-Mind not your Own: Marshons have a direct line to the best and brightest in their race. Bolstering their efforts on good rolls. However the process is not without baggage, and can manifest in horrific flashbacks.

-Lazy: Your commander is a lazy shit. Rolls out of combat suffer for it.

+Odd profile: Your ship is harder to hit because of it's odd shape.

Rolled 68, 59 = 127 (2d100)

1. Yrlix-Vran orders the ship to go rescuing escape pods.

Both to rescue allies and capture some enemies.

"You fucks ever seen a female Dris'tarr? Well, me either. Let's go see if they have any in some escape pods floating around.

Do they even have females?"

2. Yrlix-Vran sends a message home detailing the, in no small words, "utter incompetence" of the fleet leader and the disaster of their first battle.

But since there's nothing better for him to but stay the course, he asks for a fancy new Gyroscopic Drive for the ship to make turns and evasions faster. Dodging things seems to have been quite useful in escaping the battle unscathed.

The sun sets over the nameless mountain. The shortest day giving way to the longest night.

The perfect time for a new troll to first open their eyes.

It'll be a month before the sun will rear its head again and the days will start getting longer, you've got until then to find yourself a shelter to protect yourself against its petrifying rays.

But first, post your build.

Race: (The type of troll you are. This of course has an effect on the chances certain actions will fail or succeed)

Domain: (Your favorite environment. Remember that maneaters get two of them.)

Power source: (What you're going to need to do to get stronger. The bigger you are the more it takes to grow)

Fluff: (What's your personality like? Do you enjoy indulging in your power source? What are your hopes for the immediate and far-off future?)

Forget about the choices of worlds in the image, that doesn't apply here. You all share the same mountain.

Things to keep track off in the future. Posted with the starting amount.

Size: 0 (It's all relative of course. A gnome with size 0 is way smaller than a maneater with size 0, if anything it denotes how much you've grown)

Corruption effects: none (remember that as maneater you choose three effects to begin with)

Words of Power: none (you will be notified when you get one)

The nameless mountain has a nameless river. It flows from the icy tops through the clouds and past rocks and trees, around the areas of exposed magma and chasms and into the sea. It is sometimes crossed by the people of the valley, superstitious and fearful people that hate trolls. Less hostile are the furtive dwarves that live underground, also fearful of the sunlight. They are willing to trade and make deals with trolls, although not fairly.

Overall it's an untamed land, the tiny villages of the valley people and the mines of the dwarves are interspersed among broad wildlands. This is where the trolls live. You're one of those trolls and you're going to meet othPost too long. Click here to view the full text.

Maria wants to make the house bigger? House renovation is not a casual thing. Still, the living space is expanded by moving the furniture around a bit. Maria also tries to supress her natural instincts for peacekeeping reasons, she can't fully indulge and it supresses her growth. She won't be able to keep this up forever though, trolls must follow their source of power.

Hex agitates his coworkers, it does lead to scheming and plotting between the dwarves. Eventually Hex has a sabotage of equipment to report to the foreman. It doesn't lead to an increase in standing though, he's coming across as a bit of a snitch. The lack of trust between the dwarves will continue over the coming months.

Axotoul lets a select few of trusted and vulnerable mates into his hideout, they're rather grateful and will continue to be of use to him in the future.

That is, the ones that weren't squashed by a witch hunter on the fifth night of plundering the shoreside. Gnomes are vulnerable, humans are paranoid this season, combine that with a bit of bad luck and you lose half your followers.

Fluff: Fire is born. It burns. It shines. It dies. Fire given life by malice or stupidity holds the same mind as its elemental predecessors, free of the magical shackles that once created it. Svaf does not know what he is, merely that he is. To be is to destroy. Svaf knows not but destruction, with every atom in his body aching to see ruination and flame. It must be so.

I SHOULD THINK TO NOT DESTROY THE WHOLE OF THIS WORLD, BUT RATHER LEAVE IT HARDENED, STRONGER, PRODUCING OF WORTHIER CHALLENGES AND STRONGER PEOPLE! I WILL DESTROY THIS WEAK, COMPLACENT CAMP, AND THOSE WHO GO FROM ITS ASHES SHALL BE FIGHTERS WHERE THERE WERE ONCE CHILDREN.

Svaf smashes his own encampement. It was never much of a structure, just some branches to shield himself from the sun and he doesn't feel the satisfied tingle he gets from real destruction. Still, he does it rather well and feels pleased with himself for torching the place. He even scares off some gnomes trying to perform a dar ritual. If only there were some humans to send scattering.

There are humans nearby though, after spending the day halfway down the road he is close enough to see the telltale marks. There's a settlement nearby, he could make it there in one night during the next month, but he'd have to find a place to spend the day there, the twelth month is the long night, then he could probably move freely.

The 11th month is upon us, the witching month is past us and nobody had the bad luck to encounter ghosts or personally come face to face with a witch hunter and now the favorite time for trolls is coming. The 11th month still has short bouts of daylight but the twelth and first month are the long night. In this season humans stay holed up in their houses and trolls freely roam. You might meet some.

Race: Gnome

Domain: Sea

Power source: Fame

Fluff: Watching the docks pull into the harbor in the early morning was without doubt the favorite pass time of the School. We watched in awe as the pink skins dumbed their harvest onto the wooden floor frenzying for what fell into the water. We watched with baited breath as the days catch hit the dock waiting for it to spill over, yet today there was little. The look of hunger on the pink ones face much like all those wandering the docks that morning, my school laughed as one of the older gnomes swam up to steal some. Oh the look of anger on the fisherman’s face when his cache dwindled as we continued to pick at his meager harvest, oh how enjoyable it was to play with them…

As we no longer wished to challenege the humans until we grew in number we looked to the gulls that called the cliff face home for food. I would show the others my prowess and scale the cliffs to loot there nests and bring down a bird or two.

Welcome to Neo York, the year is 2156, and the world is in shambles. Mankind has taken everything that has been given to him and squandered it in pursuit of his own personal desires. Though many tried, and some succeeded, in stemming the decay of civilization, the world we are in now is very different than the one that existed a mere 150 years ago. The Resource Wars of the late 2050’s saw much of the countryside of many nations reduced to wasteland, and thus mankind found themselves confined to the great archology-cities that they built in the early 2020’s, a green movement briefly taking hold in the wake of an unprecedented volcanic activity around the globe. These Archologies, dormant for years, now hold the bulk of Humanity as the world heals from the scars of war. This time of healing was too long for some, and thus humanity looked to the stars in the late 2080’s. Now the rich bide their time on Earth, eager to finally settle their affairs and leave for the colonies. Or spend their time in the great floating cities anchored to the space elevators in high orbit around the disfigured Earth. The middle class and the poor being left behind to deal with the sins of their forefathers. This is where you come in, whatever or whoever you are. Neo York is one of the many archology-cities of North America, but it is by far the worst in terms of crime and corruption. The rich watch from their Floating city suspended above Manhattan, the Mega-corps’ offices located in Manhattan proper, where salarymen work their lives away for a mere chance to ascend to the realm above, and once there, further on to new, unmarred worlds. In the Bronx the middle class roils and riots as they are pressed on both sides from the poor and the gangs of Brooklyn and Queens, ever hungry as the disgusting nutrient paste they receive once in a blue moon runs dry, and tired of constant raids from the Neo York PD, and the ever encroaching gang wars from the south. Staten Island fares hardly better, some semblance of order is had there, but it lies solely in the whims of the Criminal syndicates that control the Island, manipulating the lesser gangs to keep the brutal NYPD distracted and away from them as they plot their own way to get off this hell hole. In the mean-time the common man struggles to come up with things to keep them from getting bored to death. As such once dangerous practices like street racing, widespread recreational drug use, and even casual street Post too long. Click here to view the full text.

Name: Jess E. Nightsoil

Fluff: Every so often, the conservative arguments put forward about the nature of human evil and freedom hold merit. Every so often, an example of such feared assertions can be found, and those examples do much to support the most draconian impositions on human life – faced with such trauma caused by such creatures, human liberty must yield and all things good are left a shattered mess of violated tears. Indeed, such men, if they might be called men, are are hard to find, but they do exist: men like Jess E. Nightsoil are of sort. They are evil. Pure evil. but in no simple way that is simple or average – men such as him traumatize societies and cause them to question their own blood, doubt their faith, fear for their children, and hate their fellow man. Perhaps it is right for them to question these things: men such as Jess are inexplicable, awful, and persistent. They have no cause, and no solution. They frighten all souls. They are pointless in their viciousness. Utterly pointless.

Welcome my friends to Majewl; a world torn between the forces of man and dark forces of the Wild King. Our story begins long ago at the beginning of the world, the first of races were born pure and free except for one. The race of man was corrupted with darkness and greed. Though some were pure and noble man had a darkness in his heart, the ever growing lust for power. As magic was still raw in the world a single human attempted to bind it all to himself twisting his form to match the corrupted soul and the Wild King was born. The Wild King used his foul magics to corrupt the world and enslave all other life. Eventually a hero rose among the humans who would sacrifice himself to slay the Wild King and end his blight upon the world. On the site of the hero’s death a Order of Knights was founded “The Order of the Martyr” who are dedicated to the destruction of evil and protection of the realm. Hundreds of years have passed since then and humans have flourished spreading across the world with knowledge of the Wild King having passed into legend. With the decline in belief in the Wild King and magic the Order has become a dumping ground for embarrassing second sons and noble bastards. A shell of the once noble order which dominated the Outer Kingdom the Order limps along with Castle Heilger serving as their single remaining holding.

These opulent and decadent times have been ended with the horrifying news, THE WILD KING RIDES AGAIN. Dark forces rising from the deep southern swamps of the continent and ripping into the Outer Kingdom sacking and burning everything they touch. However, Castle Heilger resting place of the Hero acts as a shield; his holy spirit reaching out and stopping any incursion of the Wild King’s forces into the Inner Kingdom. His forces now march towards the Castle staffed by the declining order. Will you hold long enough to allow the forces of good to rally or be washed away by wave of darkness.
