I'm not sure of any that currently exist but back in the eighties and nineties there was a commune called 'Volksberg' out in California that was set up by Jost Turner (a guy with Asatru connections who was married to Stephen McNallen's sister-in-law who believed in some sort of Norse-Hindu synthesis) and the NS Kindred. It's hard to find much online about Volksberg today, but here are a few things that I do know to get at least an overview of the man behind it:

Back To The Land - by Jost Turner

https://archive.fo/ARemE

The PDF I linked also has a few pages on him and his commune in chapter 13 that I thought was pretty unbiased for an academic work. Just CTRL + F 'Volksberg' and it should take you right to the part I'm talking about.

Great reads about an interesting person/story, thanks anon.

I find his assessment regarding the poor character of the people arriving in his commune to be especially relevant if any similar commune were established today. While not exactly the same I've seen several people on /pol/ claim to have established communes and can only wonder who would willingly move there. Any commune also would likely degenerate into faggotry given the sausage fest I'd imagine any place becoming.

Also any more info about this commune would be great lurkeranons if you have it.

I don't think that's true. I think it's the other way around. Faggotry hunts down sausage fests and enter themselves inside of it like a virus entering a cell.

I was wondering if we could get a dedicated PDF thread going, and have it as either a Sticky, or referred to in the in Master Sticky: >>2 so that it can be quickly and efficiently found by newbies.

We can also have a system where if you want to share a pdf, you start your own Mega account and just share your secure link. Then others can download your pdf to their computer and then upload it to their Mega account, and you can download their pdfs to your computer and then upload them to your Mega accounts.

That way, we can have multiple mirrors of our pdf collections in the event that SHTF, and do so in a secure fashion that is void of open usernames and passwords, and direct sharing of Mega accounts that can be exploited by hacker trolls.

Here's the current collection:

Bought some used and new books last week that all came in the mail, some I already have as ebook but wanted a hardcopy. Some of the used books are in new condition.

Rudiments of Runelore is very good but I'm a little disappointed for how small it is, however, the the quality makes up for the lack of quantity. It discusses the origins of the runes, Old Norse and etymology, some relative history, artifacts found with runic inscriptions, format styles such as the page shown, and rune poems. The end of the book has a good bibliography as well, listing works like Toward a New Runic Grammar by Elmer H. Antonsen from The Nordic Languages & Modern Linguistics of 1970 and The Germanic Languages: Origins & Early Dialectal Interrelations by Hans Frede Nielsen from University of Alabam Press of 1989. I would say this book is very much worth getting.

Reading the Past: Runes is mostly about runic inscriptions found on stones and other artifacts, most shown as photographs and a few as drawings. It's also a thin book but the text is very small, maybe a little too small. It provides some history behind the inscriptions, like how Germanic men carried knives on them so carving names into wood to create labels for goods was actually a practical method at the time, as creating ink for feathers was quite a process. It also compares runes and goes a little in-depth into the meanings of words. The bibliography is small but points to works that look very good, with the main recommendation being Introduction à la runologie by L. Musset from Paris of 1965, a French work. I bought this used for $5 off Amazon with free shipping, so the price is very good.

Chronicles of the Vikings is okay. There isn't much to gain from this as it takes samples from various sagas and then Page throws in his thoughts and explanations. It's like the type of book one would find in an introductory college course or a book that one would buy for somebody that is completely new to the Norse world. It might be a good reference book if you need Post too long. Click here to view the full text.

Was Stonehenge created by Proto-Germanic sailors? New study suggests long-running mystery could be solved

The mystery of Stonehenge may be solved, thanks to a new study that reveals the iconic rock structure may have originated from a single hunter gatherer society in France 7000 years ago.

The iconic prehistoric rock structure in Wiltshire, England has been baffling the world for generations as people struggle to figure out how the massive rock formations appeared in the UK.

A new study suggests the impressive ring of stones was created thanks to a hunter gatherer society in Brittany in northwest France, which first starting building the impressive structures and monuments 7,000 years ago.

How were the Sabaeans Semitic? In both the Torah and Quran the Sabaeans are always described as at odds with and different from Arabs and Semites. Especially if the "Queen of Sheba" is considered a "Sabaean" or just a jewish literally device to speak of the "Land of Saba" then Sabaeans weren't Semitic before race mixing with Semites.

Thoughts? I don't think what we know about specifically German paganism is enough to contend as a real religion. Platonic metaphysics are the perfect entry point into 'getting' religion in itself (there exists divinity beyond the material, mundane senses). How to syncretize Neo-Platonist theology with Germanic themes? I don't know. Discuss.

That already happened centuries ago but the Christian authorities destroyed all that work, I guess you could rebuild it. His name was Georgius Gemistus who was called Plethon and he attended the Council of Florence to bring together the Western and Eastern Churches. Plethon personally professed faith in Zeus the afflicter and Poseidon the reorderer.

"And when I asked Plethon, “Christ’s or Muhammad’s?,” he said, “Neither; but it will not differ much from ancient paganism.” I was so shocked by these words that I hated him ever after and feared him like a poisonous viper, and I could no longer bear to see or hear him." -George Trebizond

And then a year after Plethon's death Constantinople fell because Christians let jews within the walls. Its all so tiresome.

I have faith we have everything we need but go ahead and prove me wrong.

I've often thought about this myself. It seems as though Neoplatonism is functionally identical to the Hindu school of Advaita Vedanta; being that Vedic Hinduism and Heathenry share a common PIE heritage, that might be a good place to start.

Also, STJ has a really good video on the Indo-European conception of reincarnation and the tripartite soul, wherein he references Sallust, a late Neoplatonist. (Vid related.)

It wasn't like there was really a unified pagan religion to begin with. Beliefs and practices varied from land to land and time to time. People like Snorri Sturulson were already familiar with Greek studies as well so it's not like there is a lost knowledge scenario here, as in a Plato equivalent in Germanic lands. Not that there is anything wrong with Plato, but you sound like you're chasing shadows. Germanic paganism was more about magic and spirits than being a Christian-style book-based philosophy and history. The things lost to time were likely just witchcraft techniques and some missing folklore. So I don't see the point in forcing them together when you can study both Norse mythology and classical Greek philosophy on their own. Taking something Greek and swapping out the gods for different gods is basically just Universalism.

Hi, I've been inspired by the music of MBR to look into creating a "runic" based operating system. I'm wondering has anyone given it thought on how to divide up a regular keyboard for runic lettering? Of course such runes like Ti ( T ) and Beorc ( B ) could take the place of Latin characters but what about the order of the runes, such as keeping with a "fuþark" sequence as that is also important.

I've been thinking of using Saxon runes from the "Seax of Beagnoth" as my model for the font.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seax_of_Beagnoth

Now for numbers, I have seen base10 numbers used in late Runnic Calendars (those q's with lines on them) but in the older ones base19 numbers are used due to the lunar cycle.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Runic_calendar

Base19 while effective on a calendar might not be an effective system for numbering and so since the Younger Futhark was already used as part of the base19 system using the Younger Futhark runes as base16 numbers is clear.

Slightly off topic though in the spirit of the thread, the base16 of the Younger Futhark has rattled me for another reason. In Havamal, Odin counts "18" runes but none of the known systems have 18 runes but there is a weird formula where it makes sense. Younger Futhark has 16 runes and Elder Futhark has 24 runes, if you write the base10 number "24" in base16 you get 0x18 (0x10 = 16 and 0x08 =8, 16+8=24). Which I think is weird and is either some kind of multi-century coincidence or the systems were authored that way. I don't know.

Can I still be a Pagan and believe in Asatru?

And I wanted to say thatI think if I get a pure german girlfriend, and we have kids our children will be even more white. And if my children also then have white partners, their children will be even whiter. After some generations they will be completly german, because the turkish genes would be so small that they don't matter.

Heiled dubs

It depends where your allegiance lies.

Turkish doesn't automatically mean subhuman, if you have Germanic traits I assume you don't have enough sandnigger genes to dominate the recessive Aryan ones.

If your alegiance lies with Aryans, you are with us.

If you are practicing muslim faith then escape from its control-system and invoke your Aryan side to dominate your spiritual practice.

I would need a photo of your face to determine if your external features are Aryan, but never post your face on the internet unless you want to get doxxed adn don't respect yourself.

Turkey has important Aryan historical sites and can use perspective on that.

Scientists don't know whaere to place it as Islam is way too young to have had an influence on it.

Research Zoroastrianism perhaps, find out what came before it and connect the dots.

Muslims only took over recently, this isn't what the old bloodlines deserve.

Perhaps you chose this body to do something with it, research the Aryan history of Turkey and make connections other people don't.

Your ancesty is a gift, don't dismiss it for external (material) features like brown hair (many people worthy of being called Aryans had brown hair, I vaguely remember about half of the population? I'm not sure).

I can't judge 100% how aryan you are, I can't give you full disclosre on that.

But feel your aryan side and use it to its full potential.

Your roach side might be useful in some way you might not expect (again, don't throw it away but use it as a gift for something that help Aryans and our struggle)

Never shut out a part of yourself, it WILL backfore.

I myself have may have 12,5-25% jewish ancestry (only proven by rumor, but I think it's actually true).

I can trick people with jewish-like tricks (facial expressions and inPost too long. Click here to view the full text.

Hence why they need to do their LARP fantasies to feel emotions, they do not channel the energy of Aryan Gods and archetypes.

I woke up early this morning and heard the song Odin is my Guide playing in my head when making coffee. It's not on youtube but I found it on bandcamp. The artist is Hymir's Kettle, which I should've looked up before as I've been missing out on some other great music. $7 for the album and it has 14 tracks so I think I will have to buy a copy of that.

Maybe this is the wrong place to ask this, if so please forgive me. Anyway I just purchased this pendant, I like the black sun in the middle, the swastika on the bottom, and the sig rune on the side.

Can anyone explain the other symbols to me? It looks like an unfinished pyramid on the side and I’m not sure what the checkerboard thing is on the top. I appeal to you for help. Thank you.

Top symbol looks like a Japanese crest, there are a few that use a similar symbol, and right side looks made up to me since I can't think of anything matching it besides the letter A. Upper most top is a triquetra, possibly the musubi mitsugashiwa. The swastika is some kind of Anglo-Saxon fylfot variation. Was that pendant made in China? Looks like a random mix.

There are some symbols like that in the Galdrakver manuscript but I doubt some made in China pewter amulet used one of those esoteric references.
