Good or bad?

Think asatru will ever reach a point of being culturally significant and able to change lives?

Oh, then why are you?inb4 to make you convert

Your assumption that all Christians are the same betrays your history, there were schisms brewing in Germany all the way back with Peter Waldo. Protestants, Orthodox and Catholics all considered each other "pagans" until the Industrial Revolution and only save face now in being nice to one another.

The so called schisms you enumerate of us are primarily by those who don't even believe in the Aesir or anything really. Look at:

https://www.thetroth.org/news/index.html

And laugh, none of their articles are about anything having to do with our stories, they call our stories "literary fantasy", this is so beneath my acceptance I couldn't see them as a different sect as you do with your fellow Christians. Further, Wicca is jewish kabbalah, you can find that out by talking to one for a few minutes.

>>keep at it and I'm sure /asatru/ will crack the double digit unique IP ceiling some day!

Thanks, but for how long 8ch will be allowed to live in this environment of denying hosting to heretic websites, I think that time isn't very long. No matter whether it is, it is out there were the wins and losses can be found, good luck.

>>wipe out European paganism

Christianity was able to convince some Kings to join the Christ club and get in good with Rome. It is reminiscent of today where those in high places have resigned themselves over to the Jewish/Freemason club, the folk kept their lore. Which explains your assertion of Orthodoxy on the rise in Russia, since that is all those people have left. The new-old Thing in /asatru/ isn't to bring peace or be worldwide but as it always has been to the Aryan, give us powers from the Aesir to carve out a Heimat.

Well, duh. The Great Commission is literally one of our rai·son d'ê·tres

>all the way back with Peter Waldo

Peter Waldo literally wasn't alive until after the first Great Schism of 1054. So you're literally saying "there were schisms brewing all the way back to the first Great schism." In other words, you're unwittingly pointing out that there were no major schisms for about 1,000 years in Christianity, whereas, as I said before, the modern pagan revival started in the 70s and literally couldn't even make it out of the 80s without a major schism.

Honestly, what you're saying about the Troth and Wiccans doesn't sound all that different from a Nicene Christian talking about Mormons or Jehovah's witnesses; in other words, the same divisiveness that you pagans often wag your fingers at us for. The third graphic in this post >>17934 calls us out for this at the very bottom, and here you are doing just that. You're literally saying: "Other Pagans, who don't follow the same kind of Paganism as I do, are wrong and heretical." So much for the "Tendency to unity." You're also conveniently leaving out the Theodists, who are a prime example of a conservative pagan group literally schisming themselves out of existence. (considering this fact, I wouldn't be surprised if you weren't aware of them at all.)

Scarcely you do not lie such upon jews, one has to wonder, only the pagan goyim must convert or be lost. The jews get to live among Christians rarely worrying about violence and if any violence occurs are paid in full reparations.

>>Other Pagans, who don't follow the same kind of Paganism as I do, are wrong and heretical

No I'm not, if someone I meet has come to a different understanding with Forsete I wish to know about this and speak with them but if they don't believe in the Aesir at all or condemn it all as fantasy or archetypes then they are simply Atheists like at thetroth.

>>So much for the "Tendency to unity."

Just because I consider them to be Atheists or Christians doesn't mean I want to forcibly convert them to my way, I am only a mortal, small, when considering the powers of Giants and Aesir. How do you think Christians were able to do their long march through the Germanic Pagan systems slowly unraveling them century by century? Smashing an idol here, putting Jesus next to the other deities until slowly the Christians acted and reigned the older system in. We have our patience, like I said before, the ball is in your court to end the jew, just like a 100 years ago and 100 years before that, but you can't and so soon it will reach a point when we must act as a matter for the survival of our gifts from the Aesir.

>>Theodism

I know a bit about it and I've spoken with Theodiskfolk a bit, its members didn't just flee but aspects of it live on in other groups I've encountered. Its not like there was this huge dissolution of a people, it just didn't catch on with Whites. For the most part the large degree of Whites worldwide go to Church, believe Jesus will save them and jews are alright. Your ways are in a position of power, I do not deny that.

Also a bit off topic another site I wouldn't consider "pagan".

High Quality Folkish Heathen Propaganda

I feel a bit saddened by the serious lack of any dedicated, consistent, high-quality asatru propaganda efforts drawing fellow potentially like-minded white europeans to our socio-spiritual cause.

The youtube channel of the Odinic Rite for example has mostly just a few handheld camera videos with no narration or any guiding commentary, save for that one video with the british guy in a black shirt talking about Tolkien for two minutes and stuff.

We may be (at least on paper) among the fastest-growing european spiritual movements today, but we still decidedly lack a unified approach to our multimedia endevaours. We could grow and reach critical mass even faster, but for this to suceed we need to have people producing our media who actually know what they're doing.

ITT let us discuss on how to enhance audiovisual asatru agitation and the likes, also let's think of some pro-white greenpilled heathen hashtags as well while we're at it.

So i want to learn you all kids a lesson in History, You all seem convinced that Paganism asatru is Nordic but let me tell you why that is not.

The Nordic people existed in Scandinavia for over 10 000 years possibly migrating from Atlantis, their religion was the bear cult

The aryans came from Mount Arat, in Turkey, - They spread out and conquered their way into europe and India,

What you all have to note however is that these Aryan invaders and frankly migrants never CONQUERED GERMANIA, And specifically not Scandinavia, they were defeated.

- As varg Explains here

So what does this say, Well that Scandinavia should not be pagan. Its an Immigrant religion, Now not only an Immigrant religion but it also is a direct proof of religious subversion into the European peoples, - let's get more into this.

>Now that we have proven Paganism is not Nordic let us continue

Now secondly, Paganism Asatru, is not Even an Aryan Religion, Let me tell you why that is.

The Aryan Migrations happened 5700 years ago, They spread out And conquered Europe and India as We declared before, Now the funny thing is, That paganism started 3000 Years ago! There's nearly a 2000 year gap! Now what this means is that these people did not get their religious beliefs from the same root of the Indo-European peoples, But the true origins of paganism is far more about subversion than our religious heritage and as a Nordic man, Not heritage.

It comes from Babylon, it is clearly noted that that is when Babylonian Paganism started! In that religion they have Nimrod As Oden, And Ishtar As Freyja,

Now this makes PAGANISM not European, But it is also more JEWISH than Christianity!

For this religion was formPost too long. Click here to view the full text.

>Vargism

The Anatolian hypothesis has been thoroughly BTFO - the Aryans came from the Pontic-Caspian steppe, what is now Ukraine and Russia, and they conquered ALL of Europe, with modern Europeans being descended from them and the pre-Aryan European people in varying ratios. Certain concepts and figures have perennial spiritual value, it shouldn't be eyebrow-raising to notice that two different religions have a sun god and a fertility goddess. When I masturbate I like to visualize the indigenous cultures of asia minor, Iran and India. I picture their way of life: peaceful, agrarian, effeminate, matriarchal and egalitarian. Every generation living identically to its predecessor in idyllic pastoral bliss.

And then I think of the INDO-GERMANIC ARYAN BWC BULLS. TALL. BOLD. BRASH. Piercing eyes bluer than the wine-dark sea. Wearing corslets of shining brass and wielding engraved swords forged by their Chieftains, riding their great war-chariots pulled by swift Stallions. They worship different gods, gods who are like them: Warriors.

They butcher the disgusting protomen and burn their villages and holy places, taking their wives and daughters and despoiling them, planting the next generation of warriors in their eager wombs, utterly destroying their languages and replacing them with this new Indo-Germanic Aryan tongue and a new masculine patriarchal order, ultimately leading to complete assimilation. I ejaculate with them, my vital life force gets forcibly excreted from my body and I collapse, spent.

What's the board opinion about LGBTQ+?

It's a well known fact that pagans in ancient time tolerated homosexuality and even openly engaged in such activities. The Celts, Romans and Greeks were practicing pederasty all the time.

It's also scientifically proven that homosexuality is completely natural. Some scientists say that up to 10% of the population has SSA. (Same Sex Attraction)

So why is modern heathenry/paganism very divided on this matter?

Do you think that some neo-pagans have adopted the homophobic teachings of christianity?

What should be done about it?

The Scandinavians are more closely related to the first Europeans than, say, French or Germans. It shows the mapping of the "first européen '- a 37,000 year-old skeleton.

The skeleton belonged to a man who lived in Kostenki in today's Russia. The survey, which was recently presented in the journal Science, shows that the man is considered to be a European.

From a genetic point of view, he is a European. In fact, he is more closely related to the Danes, Swedes, Finns and Russians, than the French, Germans or Spaniards, says Eske Willerslev, director of the Center for GeoGenetik at the University of Copenhagen and one of the researchers behind the study, the Science Nordic.

The purpose of the survey was to find out when the dividing line between the peoples who became Europeans and Asians occurred. Together with other finds, including a bone from Siberia, scientists believe that this distinction arose sometime between 37 000 and 45 000 years ago.

Is it sacrilegious to make a goddess your waifu? I'm thinking about making Athena or Skaadi mine. What would they think of it? Is fapping to a Goddess desecration or worship?

After all, depictions of deities are idealized forms, as are 2d women, so it makes sense to use a 2d depiction as an icon to venerate a deity. Whereas 3d women represent the real manifestation of femininity, goddesses represent the archetype; that is the physically nonexistent "essence" of femininity towards which women should ideally strive. Real things cannot exist without an archetype since it is the archetype which defines the nature of the real thing, and without the archetype there would be no point of reference by which to define qualities such as masculine or feminine. So actually archetypes are "godheads,'" and often opposing dualities (light vs dark, male vs female, life vs death etc). That in mind, we can then understand shades of gray and intermediate states by comparing them to the spectrum of opposing archetypes. That means goddesses must by nature be devoid of masculine qualities since the represent the purely feminine end of the spectrum, while real women are intermediates with masculine qualities. This is also a theological pointer suggesting gods and godesses must exist, since real people exist than pure archetypes must also exist to qualify them; since real women exist and have feminine qualities this proves femininity exists in the abstract and suggests there must be at least one goddess if not multiple by which to define reality. So goddesses might actually be more real than 3d women

She will take everything from you until you are nothing but a draugr to be used by her father during the final struggle. Be weary since she doesn't always wait until death to visit. Hel will make you do things for her but like I said you won't get anything for doing them. Know she only loves her daddy, and you are not him.

What is your opinion on non-European or non-Norse forms of paganism/polytheism? Do you think of a revival of paganist faiths would have a positive influence on parts of the world other than the west?

Japan's shintoism could be seen as a form of paganism and their society seems to be much more peaceful and traditional than that of other Eastern-Asian nations such as China and both Koreas.

I'm not an expert since I've been getting into this stuff only recently, but Ukko is both the supreme god and the sky god. He is similar to Thor in being a thunder god, but he is also the god of rain and snow, so he's associated with agricultural in some ways. He is seated on a cloud, bears the firmament and carries a rainbow as his bow and also a hammer like Mjölnir. I think he might also have a sword too, this god is armed to the teeth kek.

Granted, I'm just scratching the surface, so if anyone knows more or if I've made a mistake, let me know. I

The Jewish deity can not be pagan, by definition because "pagan" is an insult that refers to all non-Abrahamism.

Another reason why it cannot be Pagan is because it's a constructed religion, not a naturally developed one. You wouldn't call it "Paganism" for the same reasons that Scientology or Buddhism isn't Paganism.

The Jews did have their Pagan gods before, when their religion was passed on orally, but all that was ended by whoever bypassed oral tradition by writing down exactly what the religion was and also declaring the oral version of the religion as unofficial, unreliable and "heretical", a narrow group of people had the power of defining what Judaism was. Later on they repeated the same process in Europe by taking a watered-down version of Judaism (Christianity) and painting the chief Pagan gods (Zeus/Odin/Rod/etc…) as just "Yahweh" and reducing all the other gods into "saints" and "prophets" who supposedly, according to the Christians, already had a long history of serving Yahweh.

I really think that the most "true" morality is that of a man who is so dedicated to quality and bettering that it transcends his self so that he would want others to be the best that they can be too, even his enemies or those who might later become them. naturally its seen by the meek as "evil" as it doesnt cower from suffering in the same way that they do, but listening to the complaints of the meek gets you nowhere good. an ideal world is one without the accusation of evil or one in which people are at their best?

not sure where stuff like this goes, general discussion or OC thread i suppose.

I think this is total bullshit, OP. The reason Paganism was displaced by Christianity in Europe was because of our own weakness. The reason Christianity is also being replaced by Islam or spiritually-barren reddit-tier Judeo-Atheism nowadays is also because of weakness, not because our enemies are strong.

Our enemies don't give a damn about altruism, they are happy to use our weakness as their strength. There is no rational reason to help your enemy and give him the gun with which he will shoot you and the ones you loves just so that you could bask in some fake moral superiority. Also, morality isn't something so one-dimensional that only one trait defines it, don't confuse altruism with something like compassion, it's more compassionate to put a rabid animal out of its misery than to let it run around and harm people, and this applies to certain human animals too.

Diverting altruism toward non-relatives is the first step toward degeneracy and foreign oppression. All striving for a good name is a pointless ego trip if not understood as part of the family history handed down like language, poetry, blood and the sacred customs themselves. Woden is king of the heroic epic and protector of the kin.

>From a random start, ethnocentric strategies dominate other possible strategies (selfish, traitorous, and humanitarian) based on cooperation or non-cooperation with in-group and out-group agents. Here we show that ethnocentrism eventually overcomes its closest competitor, humanitarianism, by exploiting humanitarian cooperation across group boundaries as world population saturates. Selfish and traitorous strategies are self-limiting because such agents do not cooperate with agents sharing the same genes. Traitorous strategies fare even worse than selfish ones because traitors are exploited by ethnocentrics across group boundaries in the same manner as humanitarians are, via unreciprocated cooperation.

It is estimated that up to 75% of persons on the autism spectrum have exhibited echolalia. A symptom of some children with ASD is the struggle to produce spontaneous speech. Studies have shown that in some cases echolalia is used as a coping mechanism allowing a person with autism to contribute to a conversation when unable to produce spontaneous speech.[14] Studies in the 1980s showed that there may be communicative intent with delayed echolalia, "depending on the context in which it occurs";[16] this research on children with autism "raised questions related to behavior modification programs that defended the revocation or replacement of immediate echolalia".[16]

Uta Frith, Prizant and others have interpreted echolalia as evidence of "gestalt" processing in children with autism, including in the acquisition of language.[4] However, a 1990 study on the acquisition of grammar by Tager-Flusberg and Calkins found that echolalia did not facilitate grammatical development in children with autism.[4]
