What principles cause the Malakis to interpret the evidence as indicating that the saliva of a dog is not necessarily impure in and of itself? Alternatively what is it about the evidence that causes Hanafis and Shafiis to disagree when there is nothing explicitly indicating their opinion despite all modern schools accepting qiyas to my knowledge?

Literally just qiyas, dhahiris also don't consider the saliva of dogs to be najis.

Abu Hurayrah RA said: The Messenger of Allaah PBUH said: “The purification of the vessel of one of you, if a dog licks it, is to wash it seven times, the first time with soil.” [Sahih Muslim 279]

‘Abd-Allaah ibn al-Mughaffal said: The Messenger of Allaah PBUH said: “If a dog licks the vessel of one of you, let him wash it seven times and rub it with soil the eighth time.” [Sahih Muslim 280]

These hadith have to do with a vessel that a person would eat or drink from afterwards. To say that the saliva of dogs is najis and not just something that is harmful for humans to indirectly injest is subject to different interpretations.

Please I am desperately in need of guidance, I am a new revert who is bisexual. I have tried for a long time to make it go away but have failed. During the summer women go around half naked which makes things harder as they're a distraction that makes me feel repulsed by my feelings. I also feel like sisters in the Masjid may judge me for not walking or dressing feminine enough. I just feel disappointed in myself and wonder why I had to be born like this.

<Muslim (2900) narrated from Naafi‘ ibn ‘Utbah who said:

<The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said:

“You will fight in the Arabian Peninsula, and Allah will enable you to prevail over it, then (you will fight in) Persia, and Allah will enable you to prevail over it, then you will fight in Byzantium and Allah will enable you to prevail over it, then you will fight the Dajjaal, and Allah will enable you to prevail over him.”

This hadith fits perfectly in our times.

>Arabian peninsula = GCC states

>Persia = Rafidhi iran

>Byzantium = Turkey (NATO)

>Dajjal = Israel (as ruler)

Muslims will fight them because all 4 are enemies of Islam. SubhanAllah, when has iran been more aggressive to islam in its history other than now?

The shiite think mahdi will come save baathists and secular socialists, they don't know their 12th imam is actually dajjal, as we know he will come from isfahan, iran and wear green scarves like the rafida do today, following the sunnah of dajjal.

Anas (May Allah be pleased with him) said:

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Dajjal (the Antichrist) will be followed by seventy thousand Jews of Isfahan and will be dressed in robes of green coloured satin."

[Muslim]. Book 19, Hadith 5

It all fits like a perfect puzzle with other ahadith such as the one of khilafah on minhaj al nubuwa. They have no idea what's coming to them.

Hello guys, i was born and raised in quite a conservative Muslim family, i was never a good Muslim but with the passage of time and exposure to internet my faith got butchered and now i believe in a higher power but I don't believe in any religion. I think it all comes down to your faith if you believe strongly that a rock or a wall will slove your problems then it will (subconscious belief), i myself have solved many problems by using my subconscious powers, and i think that there exists some higher power and its up to you what you name it.

I think that all religions were made by men to control men.

>Can you guys pls help me restore my faith again, I don't have any problems in my life but i just don't feel content.

You should start with the Quran. Maybe if you listened to a recitation of the Quran with English translation it would be better. After all, the Quran originally meant to be an oral recitation and was only compiled into book form later on. This is my favorite recitation with a translation, and it is the one I listened to before converting to Islam.

This is one of the best biographies of the Prophet PBUH in written form, however it is kind of long. I haven’t read a short one myself so maybe someone else could recommend one.

Your regret is a mercy from Allah (SWT), read the quran akhi and inshaAllah this filth will be cleansed.

Because when you weren't occupying yourself with Islam, the shaytan was behind you occupying you with vain time wasting. And he does not leave efforts against the mu'min, and he is further from two believers than one alone.

Asalaam alaykum, Im a 21 year old revert to Islam alhamdulillah,

I wanted to start a thread for others who reverted to Islam in their lives and stories related to this.

My story is that I converted when I was 14 and during my attempt to comprehend my new Deen I was listening to many brothers online including Salafi scholars who can be considered "Radical" (lawlz) by western standards, so I was arrested at 15 and got two years probation for "terrorist material"

Great way to start my new faith eh?

Anyways, love to hear other stories of any other brothers who have reverted recently!

السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ‎

I fell ill and was hospitalized for several weeks, during which I was roomed with a waning older man who was almost completely immobile and mute. His daughter would come in every day and read parts of the gospel to him and sing to him songs of prayer.

When I was released, and my body fully healed, I too started singing Christian hymns every night after my family went to sleep for hours at a time.

After gaining a considerable awareness of the voice, mine and others, for reasons unknowable (alhamdulillah) stumbled upon the Quran, at which point I was presented with the most mechanically impressive voices I've ever heard. The first session I recited the Quran was one of the clearest religious experiences I've ever had. It's hard to describe the experience itself, but it's not hard to describe what was taken from it. First and foremost, I gained an unwavering belief of a Creator, secondly, I gained a level of control over my esophagus and mention worthy lower esophagus, and literal control over my heartbeat through the rhythmatic pulsation of my lower esophagus.

I've recited the Quran with my heart almost every day since then.

Narrated by Sayyidna Ibn 'Abbas (Radhi-Allahu Anh: Allah be pleased with him), the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alayhi Wasallam: Peace be upon him) said that:

"Allah Almighty has sent forth these two verses out of the treasures of Paradise and the 'Rahman (merciful) had already written them by His own hand two thousand years earlier than the creation of all things and beings. One who is able to recite them after the Salah of 'Isha', they will stand for Tahajjud in his case."

As it appears in the Mustadrak of al-Hakim and in Bayhaqi, the Holy Prophet Sallallahu 'Alayhi Wasallam: Peace be upon him said that Allah Almighty has concluded Surah al-Baqarah with these two verses, which have been given to me in His grace from out of the special treasure that lies under the 'Arsh' (Divine Throne). Therefore, you should make special effort to learn these verses, and at the same time, teach your women and children how to recite them. This is why Sayyidna 'Umar and Sayyidna 'Ali (R.A) said that they thought that anybody who has any sense in him would never go to sleep without having recited these two verses.

Abu Mas’ud reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever recites in the night the last two verses of Surah Al-Baqarah will be sufficed by them.”

I spent some time browsing this subreddit pretty intently yesterday afternoon and again this morning. Some observations:

Bismillah.

1.) They're as far as I saw 100% atheist, I didn't see any theistic "ex-moose" as they call one another. I did see them mocking those kinds though, suggesting that they have a fringe existence. It's possible that these are just people "brought low" since the issue is simply iman, not adopting a new creed.

2.) Some are proud murtadeen, others are munafiqeen that are still pretending to be muslim to their families and communities. One even claimed to pray 2 rakats of tarawih then go to the pub and come back for witr.

3.) Pity party. One of their mods was asking r/atheism for "support" during ramadan.

>Having to wake up early in the morning before sunset (3-4 am) to eat before dawn leading to a significant disruption of the circadian rhythm

>The fast itself can lead to dehydration in the hot summer weather and involves hypoglycaemia,

>The evening breaking of fast (iftar) is normally a large meal, lavish if affordable and plays havoc with the digestive system

>The extra prayers at late night (Taraweeh) are extremely long (1-1.5 hours) and involve prolonged periods of standing. This time of the year these would be held at around 10pm leaving only 4-5 hours to sleep until the cycle repeats itself for the next fast.

WEW LAD

4.) Weird hangers-on. Roughly 30% of the commentariat were "never moose", these are kuffar asliyin atheists that are fascinated with murtadeen. They trash christianity and the other 70% trash Islam, they swap stories etc.

5.) They're still attached to Islam and their ethnic groups, albeit in antisocial and unhealthy ways. Yes, a few active users have come back to IslamPost too long. Click here to view the full text.

Remember that crosscuck missionaries have no problem with lying. Here's a self-proclaimed ex-Muslim turned christian minister/missionary giving testimonies in gibberish and passing it off as Arabic quotes from the Quran and Muslims etc: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ONdm6UPhp3U

They're so confident that crosscucks aren't going to do any critical thinking that they can go out on numerous occasions to masses of people and lie about Muslims by uttering fake nonsense sounds. The only problem was that they didn't account for Muslims watching the recordings, Muslims not all too impressed with christian "Arabic". And this wasn't just some literal-who christian picked up by Muslims from the streets of america but rather a famous award-winning christian minister whose books on Islam have sold hundreds of thousands and have been active for decades.

Reminds me of the guys claiming they found a spelling mistake in the Quran. Turns out the Quran they're using is written in a different font.

It's sad seeing people deliberately lie to get people to convert, especially with how hard they try in the video.

Salam aleikum,

I posted some time ago in this thread: https://8ch.net/islam/res/36992.html and wanted to give an update. I decided to give the marriage a try given some of the advice and so far it is working, but I would be lying if the fact I had to do it and it was basically forced on me wasn't a hang up. I even went to an imam and told me frankly about my situation and he said it is better to try a marriage even if it is forced than to just hastily divorce, not sure if that is good islamic advice or not. Maybe I am coming off as whiny but I am being honest about my feelings. So things are still very difficult.

You are acting like Shaitan’s little helper.

>>39242

You are in the United States. There are “Muslims” who don’t pray, who drink alcohol and use drugs, who visit prostitutes. Then during Ramadan you will see those same “Muslims” in the Mosque every night with a beard full of tears during the tarawih. That is why people do arranged marriages. I’m sure your parents spent a lot of time looking around, asking different people, doing research to try to find the best Muslim they could to be your husband–because they want you to be safe. They obviously did a good job because you would know by now if there were serious problems with your husband’s behavior.

One of Shaitan’s favorite things is to break up Muslim marriages. He will make small problems seem huge in your mind, and you will keep thinking about them all day long until you make mountains out of mole hills. That is why it is important to talk to your husband when you have problems. Don’t keep them secret and let them fester in your mind.

Why is it that all these atheist ecelebs are always surface level intellectuals who haven't critically assessed their beliefs in the slightest while they constantly tell everyone they disagree with to do so?

>has been revealed

There is much that has not been revealed. Allah told us what we needed to know in the best way we could understand it, but also made us smart enough to study creation further and deeper to achieve greater understanding.

Quran [21-30] Have those who disbelieved not considered that the heavens and the earth were a joined entity, and We separated them and made from water every living thing? Then will they not believe?

Allah does not tell us how he began the creation of animals. This could have happened by the way evolutionists claim (regarding animals) with single celled organisms evolving into more advanced life. They also believe that life originated with water. Even the big bang theory is in line with this verse (that the heavens and the earth were a joined entity, and We separated them). The Quran is very much in line with science. The Darwinian theory of evolution that says that man evolved from other animals goes against the scientific method itself by ignoring contradictory evidence, and we know it isn’t true because of what is in the Quran.

I've heard a while ago that the Assassins where muslims. O first thought it was a joke. I didn't even know that the assassins really existed. But they did. They were Nizari Ismailis, which is sect heresy. They also smoked hashish. That's where their name comes from.

So they aren't muslim. Because it's heresy, and that's not muslim. Or am I wrong?

The Aga Khans are just disgusting. I remember when I actually thought shias were our brothers but the more I read their texts the more I'm beginning to hate them. I remember this video where a shia brings his girlfriend to speaker's corner and the brothers there are about to bring her back to the fold of Islam and he just snaps and literally drags her away as she looks at him all confused.

Just disgusting.

I have this idea for a romance novel where the two main male characters are a white guy who is a chad football player and secretly a direct descendant of the last surviving Templar Knight, and a middle-eastern guy who is an edgelord in a punk band and he's also secretly the last surviving descendant of the Assassins, and they have all kinds of sick-ass magical powers and they fight each other and the main character in the book is this basic ass white girl and both guys have a crush on her and they're basically like her Edward and Jacob.

Islam offers a complete framework on which societies can be built on, unified under the concept of one God. That's the general gist of it.

Gradually quit.

O you who have believed, do not approach prayer while you are intoxicated until you know what you are saying or in a state of janabah, except those passing through [a place of prayer], until you have washed [your whole body]. And if you are ill or on a journey or one of you comes from the place of relieving himself or you have contacted women and find no water, then seek clean earth and wipe over your faces and your hands [with it]. Indeed, Allah is ever Pardoning and Forgiving. 4:43

Start by not taking during salat, and I strongly suggest going to rehab.
