Hello guys, i was born and raised in quite a conservative Muslim family, i was never a good Muslim but with the passage of time and exposure to internet my faith got butchered and now i believe in a higher power but I don't believe in any religion. I think it all comes down to your faith if you believe strongly that a rock or a wall will slove your problems then it will (subconscious belief), i myself have solved many problems by using my subconscious powers, and i think that there exists some higher power and its up to you what you name it.

I think that all religions were made by men to control men.

Having a positive attitude during any situation creates a better outcome than having a negative attitude.

This is wrong. When you read the Quran it becomes clear that there is no possible way that it was created by man. Many scientists have embraced Islam simply because of the scientific miracles in the Quran, things that were not discovered by man until hundreds of years later. Linguistic specialists have embraced Islam simply because of the fact that the Arabic language used in the Quran is so beautifully intricate that it would be impossible to replicate by man. The Islamic laws that are prescribed in the Quran are there for the betterment of man. Everything that is prohibited has negative effects on people, whether individually or socially.

We can’t restore your faith for you. You have to do that yourself, and you should start by reading the Quran and then reading a short biography of the Prophet PBUH (from an Islamic source).

I tried to read Quran in english but it didn't have the same appeal as it has in Arabic, I'm thinking about reciting it in Arabic, moreover can you guide from where to start restoration of my faith?

You should start with the Quran. Maybe if you listened to a recitation of the Quran with English translation it would be better. After all, the Quran originally meant to be an oral recitation and was only compiled into book form later on. This is my favorite recitation with a translation, and it is the one I listened to before converting to Islam.

This is one of the best biographies of the Prophet PBUH in written form, however it is kind of long. I haven’t read a short one myself so maybe someone else could recommend one.

Your regret is a mercy from Allah (SWT), read the quran akhi and inshaAllah this filth will be cleansed.
