Nice title, no?

I've been listening to some folk song of my race and I realized that I don't even know much about my brothers/sisters in /islam/'s culture.

O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted. [49:13]

Post your folk songs/stories.

One is always able to repent, no matter what they have done, up until the point of their death (as long as their repentance is sincere). Allah is the most merciful, the accepting of repentance. The idea of a Faustian bargain or selling ones soul contradicts this.

I read in Maulana Maududi's Tafheem ul Quran that one should try to marry women of equal social standing and culture since that reduces conflict in the marriage (like how the marriage between a freed slave,Zayd bin Harith RA, and the daughter of a prestigious family, Zainab RA, didn't work out). I myself have seen that marriages not only between differing races but even neighouring cultures may cause friction not only between families but the spouses.

So I'd preferably marry someone in my own culture. As for those who'll say the Prophet PBUH married a dark skinned lady and various Jewish Women, a) they were of largely the same culture,b) I'm not an arbitrator between nations like the Prophet PBUH and c)He also married an aged widow yet recommended marrying young fertile virgins

Because the vast majority of the sahabah were Hejazi Arabs. I'm not saying race mixing is wrong like Mr.Based Muzlim here but I'd not recommend someone who grew up with Pakistani cultural sensitivities to go and marry someone who was raised in a Somali or American Culture as that would obviously lead to unnecessary friction and could quite easily lead to the halal action Allah despises the most. It would be much easier to deal with this if we lived under something similar to the Umayyad Caliphate where Muslims of various religious backgrounds lived under the same law and government and were able to travel and mix at ease but with how the fitnah is among the ummah I wouldn't recommend this.

However at the end of the day Allah, you and your parents know best who is best for you.

>pakistan cultural sensitivities

You sound like based boy. Every muslim knows Pakistani food for instance is better than Arab food. As for the rest…..? What? Cricket and Bollywood? The entire point of Pakistan is being for Muslims, it wasn’t supposed to be an Indic culture LARP state like India. These artificial distinctions should be avoided. I want one Islamic world with one sport (soccer) although sunnah sports should also be encouraged.

I am not OP, but in rural parts of the United States there are no Mosques. The Jumuah that is closest to me is a 2 and a half hour drive away and it is held in a rented space. When I went there everyone was very friendly and welcoming. A couple of the brothers invited me over for dinner and I made a few friends there. I was the only white guy there, but that wasn’t any problem.

If you search online you should be able to find the group of Muslims that are closest to you and find out where they pray Jumuah.

File: a3b0cb7937d5812⋯.jpg (104.43 KB,729x1200,243:400,taghut_qayim.jpg)

Firstly have you taken the shahada? Not just saying the words but knowing what they mean. The two pillars of shahada are rejecting taghut when you say "la ilaha (no deity)" and believing in Allah when you say "ila Allah (except the one Allah)".

"There shall be no compulsion in [acceptance of] the religion. The right course has become clear from the wrong. So whoever disbelieves in Taghut and believes in Allah has grasped the most trustworthy handhold with no break in it. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing." [2:256]

As you see, rejecting taghut will give your the most trustworthy handhold which can never break. This is what you need. I suspect that is what you're missing since you seem to accomplish the obligatory prayers, and I assume fast and zakat if you can.

You may ask yourself what is a Taghut, know that the taghut come in many forms,

Ibnul Qayyim (May Allaah have mercy upon him) said:

“At-taaghoot is anyone whom the servants go beyond the due bounds, whether it is someone worshipped, obeyed or followed.”

The taaghoot are many, and their heads are five:

1. Iblees (Satan), may Allaah’s curse be upon him.

2. Whoever is worshiped and is pleased with that. (ex. tyrants, celebrities, presidents)

3. Whoever calls the people to worship them. (ex. pharaoh, cesar)

4. Whoever claims to possess anything from the knowledge of the affairs of the hidden and unseen. (ex. "sufi saints", "rafida imams")

5. Whoever judges by other than what Allaah sent down. (ex. democracy, communism, capitalism, nazism, liberalism, feminism, other man-made ideologies)

Make sure you reject all taghut before you enter Islam completely. And Allah (swt) knows best.

The fact that you fear losing your iman shows how much imaan you still have brother, do not listen to the lies of shaytan, even the sahaba feared that they would lose their iman.

Sometimes you have to do something for a very long time before they get better, you just have to stick with it.

I think that Shia aren't very intelligent for demonizing imperfect people (the Sahhaba) because we all are imperfect and make mistakes. And in the same way, I don't think it's very intelligent to hate Shia for this specific mistake, even though it should be pointed out as such.

Just my opinion

>more effective against isrl

No. Hezbollah is a lebanese nationalist organ and only fights Isrl when they enter lebanese land. The only time hezbollah leaves lebanon is to kill sunnis and take their land.

>I love them both

So you love how russia, assad, and hezbollah have cleansed 12mil sunnis (half of Syrians into refugees) and given their lands and businesses to shia militiamen from Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, and Lebanon.

>and only hate the Z + Wahhabi axis.

Instead of hating people who drop bombs and displace/murder muslims you ignore their blood unless it confirms to your sectarianism or anti-zionism. The mongols were not zionist or “wahabbi” nor are the buddhists who kill us in Myanmar, the Hindus who rape and riot against us, et al and the fact you call sunnis you dont like “wahabbi” - a name they dont ascribe themselves as it is one of Allah’s 99 names shows whose side you are really on.

>I think that Shia aren't very intelligent for demonizing imperfect people (the Sahhaba) because we all are imperfect and make mistakes. And in the same way, I don't think it's very intelligent to hate Shia for this specific mistake, even though it should be pointed out as such.

Just my opinion

That is only the beginning of their errors. They ascribe divine powers to an invisible man who is “hidden” in Iraq and telepathically tells their Imams what is correct doctrine. Their Quran interpretation is jibberish ie “tin” is Hassan and “zaytun” is Hussein.

hamas is ikhwani and hezbul-lat is an IRGC branch in lebanon, both have opposite interests

iran even stopped funding hamas when they refused to join assad in the syrian war lol…

qatar and turkey are the muslim brotherhood states funding hamas now

but both these groups are deviants, as they are rafidah and democratic who dont apply shariah

if you are sunni and think the rafida even care for unity other than for temporary taqiyyah you are gullible, watch vid related

The Sunnah does not prohibit general images. In fact, the Prophet(pbuh) allowed Aisha to keep a statuette of a horse. We've argued this point in many threads and the final conclusion - for the purposes of this board - was made.

If this offends you, then you can choose to hide images. But, since this is an "image board", the rule for the board itself is in place and has been for a long time. Images of the prophets are still not allowed.

I'm from a muslim family, so I was raised the muslim way. But back then I didn't believe in Islam, and didn't want to be a muslim. I became a Atheist and eated pork and drank alcohol. I regret everything I did, and wanted to ask: Can I just be a muslim again?

that place looks familiar

pretty sure thats from the time when /sg/ (syria general) on 4/pol/ tracked down an isis base and handed the info to the authorities who air struck the place

those people aren't the type of 'muslims' we should be aligning ourselves with

There are a lot of scholars that say you can’t make up missed prayers that are missed due to negligence, you can only repent and do your best not to miss prayers ever again.

Ibn Hazm said, “As for the one who deliberately omits to pray until the time for the prayer ends, he can never make it up, so he should do a lot of good deeds and offer a lot of voluntary prayers, so that his balance (of good deeds) will weigh heavily on the Day of Resurrection, and he should repent and ask Allaah for forgiveness”.

This is also the view of ‘Umar ibn al-Khattaab and his son ‘Abd-Allaah, and of Sa’d ibn Abi Waqqaas, Salmaan, Ibn Mas’ood, al-Qaasim ibn Muhammad ibn Abi Bakr, Badeel al-‘Aqeeli, Muhammad ibn Sireen, Mutarrif ibn ‘Abd-Allaah and ‘Umar ibn ‘Abd al-‘Azeez. It was also the view of Dawood al-Zaahiri and Ibn Hazm, and was the view favoured by Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah and al-Shawkaani. Among contemporary scholars it was regarded as more correct by al-Albaani, Ibn Baaz, Ibn ‘Uthaymeen and others.

That is in Chechnya. Chechnya is in Russia, not Syria. He even wrote it next to the picture.

Salam aleikum.

I'm a guy in my mid-20's who have been suffering from depression and anxiety for a long time. It got so bad that it cost me my friendships, my family and nearly my life. The dark clouds have started to part and I feel like I'm ready to finally move on with my life, but I have to pretty much start from scratch and it's proving really difficult. I'm struggling to find any meaning at all and it feels hopeless trying to connect with people because everyone in my age have started settling down or have firmly stablished groups of friends already. I've been looking towards philosophy and religion trying to get new perspectives and trying to find a path forward - and Islam really caught my eye as something that could be worth pursuing. I feel like it's wrong on some level though since it's for such selfish reasons as wanting to get myself together.

Do you have any advice for me or how I should proceed? Is it okay for me to convert? If I do, what can I expect? If I end up converting I'm planning on immersing myself completely as there's nothing of value in my life as it is right now. I apologize for my poor writing skills and english by the way, I know they're crap.

Thank you.

pol is a great place but its full of shills and JIDF. The white nationalists- the ones with >100 IQ- are part of the cause, ready to stand and fight for their land and people just as we do against the ☻s. Do not make enemies of symapthetic and kind whites, for they are our friends, at least the non-boomer ones that recognize the lies fed to them at an early age
