Re-reading the profile about how they were equipped with healing devices and non-lethal weapons makes that particular model look like a peacekeeping model. Something between a police officer and a paramedic.

I'm wondering if that's the only model found so far. I'd think there might be construction, more advanced medic, and potentially even (lethal) combat models if more digging was done.

Also, I wonder if any gremlins have tried to reverse engineer and develop simpler versions of said automatons.

Probably a question pertaining to our interests is how do they reproduce? Are they limited in number and need to be constructed (sadly meaning no pregnancy or motherhood)? Do they have artificial wombs now? If so, what would the children be like?

Man, KC really gave us something interesting to work with here. I wish he'd go into more detail about them.

Ha. I thought it was grim all the way through.

That one was definitely odd for me. Not standard /monster/ content. Barely romantic and not sexy at all. I really did just want to get it out of my head. It's such an intrinsically dark thing to think about. Immoral immortality, millennia of banishment, attempted world conquest/genocide, the "will to dominate all life"… would a real Demonic Lord deserve redemption? Or love? What do you become when you fight demons for your whole life? What would a world become if it fought demons its entire history? I feel like you'd almost have to approach it from a tongue in cheek comic direction for it to not be at least a little dark.

Let's just pretend that it's all just something you should gloss over to get to the implied ULTIMATE HEALING. And she ended up saving more people than she killed by forcing them to develop their magic and technology. It was all the Creator's plan to bring some good out of the evil choices she made. Or something like that.

Yeah problem is the runes and making it recognizable/clean at a distance. Toss in the fact that my art ability is basically just an eye for it and controlled autism, well. Reitia's sigil's runic scrawl is a bit hard for someone who is only "good" at compositing. That hnf for example is one half of a raster 3D heart mirrored onto itself, with a vector feather through it. Art people probably noticed immediately.

Maybe just do a stylized infinity with the key in the right eyelet, not worrying about the other runes? Stylizing will be kinda hard tho, and I'd have to borrow a tablet for the key…

How would various monsters give birth to their children? For example, I imagine a slime gives birth by first breaking off a piece of her own core once it is fertilized by a sperm cell(s) and using the DNA from the father, it recreates the rest of the core from the broken off piece, thus when the second core fully recreates itself it breaks off from the mother, thus allowing for the slime “Give birth” to her daughter. How would various other monsters (excluding obvious ones like manticores and such) give birth? I’ve been pondering this question for awhile and wonder what you guys think.

Alright, for those anons who are just now waking up, an Aussie shot up a mosque in New Zealand and released a manifesto that is one giant shitpost. The only catch is he posted it to /pol/ before hand and live-streamed it to Facebook. Copies of the manifesto and footage of the shooting has been floating around /k/, /v/, /pol/, and I believe /n/ as well. This has caused some concern about 8chan being targeted and shut down and everyone being forced off to their various bunker sites.personally I think we’ll be ok for Now. I expect most of the normalfags and the like to stick to /pol/ and the larger boards. But there is a chance there’ll be some kind of push or demand to shut down 8chan to stop our “bigotry and hatred” from spreading. Hence this thread

Before that does or does not happen, I propose we begin archiving and saving all of our threads, images and stories. With the biggest priority being our drawthreads, writing threads, and threads on the last few pages in case they get bumped off. I’ve already saved the last two on page 25 as well as their relevant images so that they aren’t lost when this thread posts.

This reminds me of something noodle and monstergirl-related. Kagome, a Japanese tomato product company, has a Neapolitan fairy mascot for their "Naporitan" sauce called Napoli-tan (she also has a rival fairy named Meat Sousui).
