Pretty much this. J. L. Carr is good at this, although his books have deeper themes. They can be easily ignored to find what you're looking for. A Month in the Country is a good start and a great book about a WWI veteran restoring a medieval mural in a small English village.

No offence, OP, but this would have to be one of the DUMBEST posts I have read today.

What's wrong with typing it in Notepad? It's free. If Microsoft want to lay claim to ur IP, they will have to risk all to admit their O/S is a massive trojan.

Or, better yet, use an ACTUAL notepad.

Do you REALLY think you NEED rich-text? If you do, then stop pretending you're an author and go back to your fanfiction site. Only hacks rely on rich-text. Or faggot "I did it ironically" poseurs. Real writers – go read Hemingway – know how to illicit emphasis and nuance from mere word-choice and sentence structure.

>It was on June 13, 2025 that the liberation of America took place. Millions were suddenly and

inexplicably overtaken by a kind of frenzy, and their fury unleashed, it was at once cunningly

redirected at their oppressors. Waves of violence quickly spread like fire throughout the

country. Banks and churches were burned to the ground, stores were looted, and hundreds

of thousands were brutally and mercilessly slaughtered on the streets or in their homes.

Millions more fled the country in terror, fearing for their lives

Niggers of Color

I've traveled the world - all over the place,

I've met cool niggers from every race.

By car, bus, foot, and bike,

Here are just some of the niggers I like.

Some of these niggers use the term "Jew",

They have lots of money, intelligence too.

The religious ones are all quite old,

Let's call these niggers, "niggers of gold".

There are niggers in Italy, Spain, and France,

These niggers have culture, song, and dance.

These are most of the niggers I know,

Let's call these niggers, "niggers of snow".

Eastern niggers are respectful and nice,

Their diets consist mainly of rice.

In crowds, you just have to yell their name,

I speak of these "niggers who look the same".

Some of the niggers have seen more sun,

These niggers are strong - they jump and run.

Rap and hip hop are the beats they feel,

These are the homies, the "niggaz that's real".

There are niggers that run convenience stores,

I hope they stay out of nuclear war.

These are niggers for whom I worry,

I'm speaking, of course, of "niggers of curry".

There are niggers in the Muslim world,

Respectful to every boy and girl.

These niggers live in the middle east,

They're simply known as "niggers of peace".

Hispanic niggers are not very tall,

They are quite adept at the sport of baseball.

These niggers play on all the best teams,

Post too long. Click here to view the full text.

Take a look at this image.

When I see it, I am overcome with a feeling of dread and anxiety. There's something about the unpainted context of this image, of knowing that there is a sexual inflection to it yet being totally unable to prove it, this feeling of absurd impossibility that is still somehow within reach, that taunts me.

It truly is something incredible, that without context this image still makes sense—even if it IS disgusting sense.

Imagine if this image were to be projected to a class full of high school students. Most would imagine it's just a silly cartoon girl making a funny face drawn by an eccentric artist, or perhaps a sleepy character just waking up. Less that five per cent of that classroom would know the real intention of that artist's creation.

Any books for this feel?

A number of things:

>Exercise:

What type of exercise do you get? Weightlifting increases testosterone and testosterone increases libido.

>Sunlight

How much sunlight do get as this affects energy levels because. again. it increases testosterone.

>Diet

What do you eat? The more processed it is is likely to have an effect. How contaminated the food and drinks you consume have an effect. Although it may seem like a meme, soy is a testosterone blocker.

>Genetics

My Friend Mr. Leakey is a children's book published in 1937 by J.B.S. Haldane. Haldane was a geneticist and known soviet spy for Stalin. Out of all of his writings, from scientific papers, to books on marxist philosophy, this one book stands out. The ONLY children's book he wrote. My Friend Mr. Leakey is turning out to be a deeply coded text detailing many anachronisms in our history. Many things are mentioned in this book that have no place being in a book supposedly written for children.. go take a look for yourself.

<This appalling fan-fiction is so bad, it's like really bad fan-fiction made love to E.L.James and when the resulting hellspawn vomited, OP ate and regurgitated it onto the page I read.>

While it seems to be insult-for-creative-works de jour, sometimes it is hard to tell whether your critics are right, or whether they're just retards with no talent of their own, so they belittle anyone else. And yet, it isn't an impossible failing to be writing so badly that it sounds like something E.L.James would vomit on a page.

How do you self-critique to avoid this kind of obvious failure? Is it just a numbers game: the more critics, the better evaluation.

The problem I find is that everyone's a writer and no one's a critic. So, for that matter, where do you hang out to get your shit refined?
