Post the last book(s) you have read. It would be nice if you add a synopsis or review as well, but it's not a requirement. Just seeing a snapshot of what other image-board anons are reading is itself awesome.

Is The Weather Vane by Gedalia Gershon the finest novel ever written? Why is the answer yes?

Why did they create that stupid Honk Honkler meme based on the cover of this book?

I can't say that it's the best novel I've ever read, but quite interesting. It's not my favorite genre, that's why I wouldn't know that it's the best book, but my friends love it. I'm a literature student and have already read many books, and I think it's impossible to say which one is better. I write analyses and other papers for various books, which helps me understand the plot better; that's why every book is special to me. Somethimes it also can be complicated to write, but https://gradesfixer.com/ always helps out - there are a lot of paper examples in literature, and reading them always helps. But you know, I was thinking about rereading Weather Vane by Gedalia Gershon again because I read it two years ago, and maybe, this time, the reading will be different.

Moreover, it's not always easy to prepare for medical topics, therefore this source helps me out in these matters https://www.nursingpaper.com/our-services/nursing-care-plan-writing-service/ I hope thanks to this I'll have more time for my favorite hobby.

Determining whether "The Weather Vane" by Gedalia Gershon is the finest novel ever written is subjective and varies from person to person. While some readers might consider it to be a remarkable work, others may have different opinions. The answer to this question ultimately depends on individual preferences, literary tastes, and interpretations.

As for the creation of the "Honk Honkler" meme based on the book's cover, it's important to note that internet memes often arise from various sources and can be inspired by anything, including book covers. The connection between the meme and the book cover might not necessarily reflect the content or quality of the novel itself. I never knew how much easier my life could be with the help of a quality essay writing service https://essaysrescue.com/speedy-paper-review/ - thank you, review site! Their reviews are always easy to understand, and they provide all the information I need to make an informed decision. It's clear that they're passionate about helping students succeed and are committed to providing the best possible service to their readers.

I can’t recommend https://belkin.manymanuals.com/ enough for anyone who owns Belkin products. I recently had some issues with my Belkin router, and as usual, I had misplaced the manual. A quick search on this site, and I was back in business in no time. The layout of the site is clean, and finding what you need is simple. I particularly liked that the manuals are downloadable without having to deal with annoying ads or pop-ups. One trick I learned from the manual was how to set up a guest network on my router, which has been incredibly useful when we have visitors. Also, the manual had a detailed section on troubleshooting connectivity issues, which saved me from buying a new router altogether. If you’re a Belkin user, I’d definitely suggest keeping this site bookmarked. It’s been an invaluable resource for me, and I’m sure it will be for you too.

Where once universities held themselves out as embodiments of the ancient ideal that the true purpose of wealth is to afford one the means and leisure to pursue knowledge and understanding of the world, now the only justification for knowledge was held to be to facilitate the pursuit of wealth.

David Graeber. The Democracy Project

>talk for students on literature

really, truth be told, literature has no "purpose" and may very well be diminishing in cultural significance in a money focused economy. The benefit of reading literature is that it may cultivate wisdom.

At length in his works Plato lauds the gaining of wisdom, and no more so than in The Republic (Book VI 484 et seq) in his discussion regarding the qualities indispensable for society's leaders (Guardians).

This could be a worthwhile basis for your talk

This subject has been confusing me so much lately. I always thought that the purpose of universities was about employment but I have recently listened to criticism about how businesses are too deep in the education system. Now I've reached this dilemma where I feel like I might be the cancer of the education system even if my intentions for wanting money are good since I'd rather not become homeless again. The internet for me has become what the university once was, especially as my major is not my true passion but just one of high interest.

You can choose a particular work or author and analyze the motifs and symbols they use to convey certain ideas or themes. You may also consider how historical, social, and political events influenced the literary works of a particular era or author. In this case, I usually used research paper help, I found https://edubirdie.com/research-paper-help for myself. The main thing is to tell us and find the topic that bothers you. Dune managed to put me off 80 pages into the second book, in no small part due to the preface written by Herbert's son. The guy seemed to have minimal understanding of how Dune played out, and hearing that he actually wrote shit after his father died was a guarantee of infuriating mediocrity. The first book had its moments (dinner scene in particular sticks to mind) but Herbert drops the ball repeatedly, and I got shaken out of the story by this particular moment:

>The Emperor’s smile was calculating. “Anyone accepted into the Imperial company is a member of my entourage.”

>“You have the word of a Duke,” Paul said, “but Muad’Dib is another matter. He may not recognize your definition of what constitutes an entourage.”

And then I couldn't continue even past the few chapters of Messiah. Now I'm thinking I should do what this guy >>13750 did.

Hey /lit/.

I have never posted here even once.

I need recommendations for good books written by Prussian authors. They can be German as it would help with me read German but need a english translation as well. Also I prefer fiction to non fiction unless the non fiction is an old time analysis of art or political theory.

Absolutely!!! Here are some recommendations for books by Prussian authors that are available in English translation and cover a wide range of fiction and non-fiction, with an emphasis on art and political theory:

"Effie Briest" by Theodor Fontane: This classic novel is a masterpiece of German realist literature and provides a glimpse into nineteenth-century Prussian society.

"The Man Without Qualities" by Robert Musil: Although Musil is not a Prussian author, his work focuses on the Austro-Hungarian Empire and its Prussian influence. It is a modernist novel that deals with intellectual and social themes.

"Berlin Alexanderplatz" by Alfred Döblin: Set in Weimar-era Berlin, this novel is a must-read for those interested in the interwar period in Germany.

"Faust" by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe: Although Goethe is not a Prussian writer, his work is central to German literature and culture. "Faust" is a timeless masterpiece that explores themes of ambition and morality.

Non-fiction works related to art and political theory:

"The Birth of Tragedy" by Friedrich Nietzsche: Nietzsche was influenced by Prussian culture, and this book is an early exploration of the Apollonian and Dionysian forces in art.

"The Structure of Scientific Revolutions by Thomas S. Kuhn: Although Kuhn was not Prussian, his influential work on the philosophy of science is a must-read for anyone interested in the evolution of ideas.

"A Theory of Communicative Action" by Jürgen Habermas: Habermas is a contemporary philosopher from Germany, and his work on communicative rationality has had a significant impact on political theory.

These selections include Prussian and German authors, fiction and non-fiction, providing a good starting point for exploring the intellectual and cultural heritage of the region. I learned about most of them when I used online paper writing service at hPost too long. Click here to view the full text.

Immanuel Kant

Disclaimer: this post and the subject matter and contents thereof - text, media, or otherwise - do not necessarily reflect the views of the 8kun administration.

 No.17228

Certainly! Prussia has produced many notable authors whose works have left a lasting impact on literature. Here are some recommendations:

Immanuel Kant (1724-1804)

"Critique of Pure Reason": A foundational work in modern Western philosophy, this book delves into the nature of knowledge, metaphysics, and epistemology.

"Groundwork of the Metaphysics of Morals": Here, Kant explores the concept of morality based on reason.

Friedrich Schleiermacher (1768-1834)

"On Religion: Speeches to its Cultured Despisers": Schleiermacher defends religion against its detractors and presents his own interpretation of religious feelings and practices.

Heinrich von Kleist (1777-1811)

"The Marquise of O and Other Stories": A collection of short stories that delve into the complexities of human emotions and conflicts.

"Michael Kohlhaas": A novella about a horse merchant who resorts to extreme measures after being wronged by a nobleman.

Theodor Fontane (1819-1898)

"Effi Briest": Often compared to "Madame Bovary" and "Anna Karenina", this novel offers a critical look at Prussian society through the tragic story of a young woman.

"Wanderings through the Mark Brandenburg": A series of travel writings capturing the landscapes and history of Brandenburg.

Gottfried Benn (1886-1956)

"Selected Poems and Prose": Benn's works are a blend of expressionism and realism, reflecting the tumultuous times of the early 20th century.

Karl Marx (1818-1883)

"The Communist Manifesto": Co-written with Friedrich Engels, this work is a foundational text for modern socialism and communism.

"Capital, Volume I": A critical analysis of capitalism and its socio-economic effects.

While some of these works might be dense or challenging, they offer profPost too long. Click here to view the full text.

Sure!!! There are many excellent novels that are not Japanese comics (manga) that may be of interest to a male audience. Here are some recommendations:

"Pride and Prejudice" by Jane Austen: This classic novel is a timeless story about love, class, and societal expectations. It is a well-crafted novel that has resonated with readers for centuries.

Outlander Historical Romance by Diana Gabaldon: This historical romance combines elements of time travel, adventure, and passionate love. It has wide appeal and offers a unique take on the genre.

"The Rosie Project" by Graham Simsion: A heartwarming contemporary romance that tells the story of Don Tillman, a brilliant but socially awkward geneticist, and his quest to find love.

"Me Before You" by Jojo Moyes: This novel tells a profound and unconventional love story between a caregiver and her paralyzed patient. It is a touching and thought-provoking novel.

"The Hate Game" by Sally Thorne: A witty and engaging novel about enemies and lovers that combines humor, chemistry, and a compelling love story.

"Eleanor Oliphant's All Right" by Gail Honeyman: While not exactly a romance novel, it beautifully and heartbreakingly explores themes of connection and love.

"The Notebook" by Nicholas Sparks: This is a classic of the romance genre, known for its tender story of love that transcends time and memory.

These books offer a variety of themes and styles of romance, and they are not limited to Japanese comics, providing an enjoyable read for anyone looking for a good romance novel. I found out about park of them after a service https://researchpaperwriter.org/ that helped me with my studies. And so the list goes on for a very long time
