I've read a lot of Doomer stuff here and on Reddit and just want to let you guys know that, if you can't get away from being a Doomer, for whatever reasons, you still have a future. It might be a future of lonely nights and a boring job but it's still something. I'm 44 and was dooming in the 90's right when it was starting to get really bad with girls turning into worthless thots left and right. It wasn't always like that. In the 80's, girls were generally sweet, nice, slender, and cute, and couldn't wait to be your lady and have kids. I don't know what went wrong, but in the 90's they turned into cold hearted snearing bitches that were too cool for anyone. Then in the 2000's they just got fat. Then in the 2010's they shaved and dyed their hair. I don't see this trend reversing itself very soon. It's bad out there. I thought about killing myself a lot, because of the loneliness. I did get a GF when I was 20 and finally lost my virginity but she turned out to be married and was screwing around with me and a couple of other guys while her husband was serving in Iraq. I searched for wife material for 25 years before giving up. They either were always a whore, bitch, used up post-wall with kids and 2 ex husbands, or just not interested (mostly the latter), or a combo of all those. My advice, do try to find your happiness, but if it just ain't happening after a few years, let go. Don't go spinning your wheels and putting yourself out there over and over just to get run over repeatedly. It's not worth it. There is life after 35 without a family. It's a very peaceful and sometimes lonely life, but you are completely free. I no longer feel the urge to pursue women and have become happy with my situation. I think you can too, if it comes to that. Just take care of yourself and don't worry about anything else.

For reals though, nothing wrong with remembering the good times of your youth, but if you waste most of your mindspace on comparing your childhood deacde to current-year youth, it's time to re-evalute your worldview.

Anytime a child or teen shows cynicism or disbelief they're called "selfish" or "heartless", even though adults in general are natural recluses.
