Turns out a good friend of mine is an effeminate faggot. He's already a pretty effeminate guy, the primary reason why I hung out with him in the first place was in a desperate attempt to help him not be a complete hyper-fruit, like my masculinity would rub off on him.

But it didn't. I'm sitting with him in class, and he's apparently on Twitter, and Twitter users are either 1. bitching about some retarded political philosophy, or are 2. trying to recreate Sodom and Gomorrah through the powers of technology, and he didn't seem like the type to be in the first half.

He was pretty apprehensive to show me when I asked him what he was posting about. Curiosity got the best of me when I got home, searched his online alias, and found an account with the same profile picture he has on Steam.

Not to mention the fact there's more than a few people he talks with that were above-21 "nonbinary" types.

After finding out about this I've fallen into a deep depression. I'm smoking way more cigarettes than I usually am and I've been sleeping in until 3 in the goddamn afternoon. I feel a heavy weight on my heart and soul. I ask myself to God himself why he puts these burdens upon me, and I can only hope that I walk out of this better than I've walked in.

I'm already coming out of getting almost murded by people who I called "friends," and my goddamn guinea pig kicking the bucket. This shit's hell.

I know people will disagree with me, but I'm tired of society treating under-25 as helpless puppies that shouldn't be allowed ANY form of independence.

I hate how whenever a young person makes a mistake or has a flaw, they attribute to youth, yet older people can be flawed and accident-prone and still have their personhood respected.

I especially hate how when it comes to young criminals, they assume that because they're young that they were "indoctrinated/misguided". No they're not. They knew what they were doing.

Especially when it comes to statutory rape. Alot of cases of man-on-girl "rape" are initiated by the minor. These young girls are worldly-ambitious and will do anything to have a taste of riches and adoration. It's only when the money and gifts stop coming that they yell "RAPE!"

Our society punishes young people whom show worldly-awareness and cynicism. Children are being forced into positivity. Any child who likes dark/edgy humor or isn't into the whole happy-go-lucky overtness that children are assumed to have are seen as defective.

This idea of youth as innocence/idealism is moral passive-agression from adults.

It's why adolescence was invented, why helicopter parenting and zero-tolerance rules are allowed to smother kids to death.

Then adults have the nerve to wonder why the newer generations are supposedly "declining"?

I'm sorry, but the social-legal invention of Childhood-as-Eden was a recent development from the 19th century that was realized in the 1940s.

I've read a lot of Doomer stuff here and on Reddit and just want to let you guys know that, if you can't get away from being a Doomer, for whatever reasons, you still have a future. It might be a future of lonely nights and a boring job but it's still something. I'm 44 and was dooming in the 90's right when it was starting to get really bad with girls turning into worthless thots left and right. It wasn't always like that. In the 80's, girls were generally sweet, nice, slender, and cute, and couldn't wait to be your lady and have kids. I don't know what went wrong, but in the 90's they turned into cold hearted snearing bitches that were too cool for anyone. Then in the 2000's they just got fat. Then in the 2010's they shaved and dyed their hair. I don't see this trend reversing itself very soon. It's bad out there. I thought about killing myself a lot, because of the loneliness. I did get a GF when I was 20 and finally lost my virginity but she turned out to be married and was screwing around with me and a couple of other guys while her husband was serving in Iraq. I searched for wife material for 25 years before giving up. They either were always a whore, bitch, used up post-wall with kids and 2 ex husbands, or just not interested (mostly the latter), or a combo of all those. My advice, do try to find your happiness, but if it just ain't happening after a few years, let go. Don't go spinning your wheels and putting yourself out there over and over just to get run over repeatedly. It's not worth it. There is life after 35 without a family. It's a very peaceful and sometimes lonely life, but you are completely free. I no longer feel the urge to pursue women and have become happy with my situation. I think you can too, if it comes to that. Just take care of yourself and don't worry about anything else.

For reals though, nothing wrong with remembering the good times of your youth, but if you waste most of your mindspace on comparing your childhood deacde to current-year youth, it's time to re-evalute your worldview.

Also, why do adults expect children to be all the same? Adults yearn to be themselves even if it means being hated because "authenticity." Anytime a child or teen shows cynicism or disbelief they're called "selfish" or "heartless", even though adults in general are natural recluses.

Adulthood is all about prospect and exploitation.

Adults use virtues to keep the young in line. Never do they use it to actively better themselves unless in crisis.
