As a doomer, what music do you listen too? I listen to lot of dark ambient from Cryo Chamber, lots of deathrock (especially Radio Werewolf) and a lot of old school Memphis rap. Tommy Wright III has shouted me out before. My music career is just taking off at age 27 and I'm not sure if I'll join the 27 club, but I don't really care.. Nothing will really make me happy. Music is the only way I can get thru the day & absolutely none of it is positive.

Funny you should mention the 27 club - personally I'm disappointed not to be joining it. I intended to buy a shotgun in March, but the affordable gunstores appear to be closed right now here for COVID-19. I'll turn 28 in May, and had my expiration date set as the 28th of April. Some of my biggest shows were in the lead-up to this bullshit, and I had a couple canceled due to it.
Anyway - I like Blue Oyster Cult a lot. A lot of oldschool heavy metal (and hard rock), deathrock, gothic rock (especially Pornography), first-wave (and non-first wave) black metal, psychedelic (and prog, especially if it leans towards psych or avant-garde), Motown. Plus some folk and gothic country and stuff like that - Townes van Zandt is obviously great. And some EDM, but I never got good at telling EDMs apart. Bunch of other stuff.

I skimmed what you wrote, I have a bunch of shit to do. But it reminds me a little of my first "girlfriend." We never reconnected, but in my teens I was very isolated and really only had regular contact with a few people online - including her. We were going to eventually meet, though it never happened and we "broke up" and I feel like part of the reason was that I was sort of cold - I was afraid to reveal my emotion in some ways and I masked it by being purposefully corny.
We stayed in touch for a few years, though eventually she unfriended me. Not one hundred percent certain why - there could be a few reasons, but it might just have been that I was an "ex" of sorts (not really even that, but sort of) and we hadn't spoken regularly in a while.
I don't really think about it often now, but if I do it's rather sad.
What else can you do?
