If you break down any setting into its specifics and remove plot armor, you get nightmare fuel almost all the time. The only way you can get the enjoyment you wish for in a setting is either plot armor, or a nigh-omnipotence.

The thing is, a weak villain can reasonably defeat a stronger hero, because villains have less morals holding them back. You might have to defeat the villain non-lethally, or at least with minimal collateral damage, while they can just spam nukes (assuming that's the powerlevel) until you're dead, and fuck Geneva.

Its low comfort isn't an issue for someone who spent the majority of their life without it.

There's four choices that "consume" nothing, and "gain" one of the three options, which apparently refer to three completely separate routes that are listed at the end of the page and seem to coincide with the fourth choice… And while the latter part does make sense, the first three choices are so much lacking in context that the whole section is simply confusing (not to mention, even after reading the whole page, I have no clue as to what these choices result in, mechanics-wise).

There's nothing wrong with the concept of a superpowered robot waifu cyoa. The problem is when you divide up the cyoa in a way that makes them either/or.

What he should have done is just make 2 separate point pools so that you aren't forced to balance superpowers and mundanities, but then he would have probably shorted the points even further or forced you into specific models.

Personally I just take them all. They all seem like they should be useful for something, and it's not hard to get the points.

The main thing that confuses me is portal/uniquely + increasingly/infectiously. They seem on the surface like they should be incompatible, but nothing in the CYOA design says so (they aren't in the same column). Also the general corruption mechanic is dumb, basically it's near-impossible, and near-pointless to fight it, so there's not much reason to pay attention to it at all.
