The Catholic religion is that Christians should live apart from jews, pagans and heretics. Comes from the teachings of the Pope and the council of Basel.

Not sure what you're on about.

Not many Catholics. The "Church teaching" doesn't seem to exist anymore.

True enough many Catholics have abandoned the faith and believe in Marion apparitions, magic talismans and other heretical beliefs than in the teachings of the Bible and, per the Bible (Matt 16:18) the teachings on faith and morals from the Chair of Saint Peter.

It's okay to go to a priest who is a heretic, but if because of his heresy e.g. preaching the false Gospel of Aquinas and not the Encyclicals of Pope Pius X the priest will not give the sacraments to the true faithful then there is no use in him; his intentions are false.

I've had my fill of Mary Worship. That was never mentioned in the Catechism. We are told in Catechism that all things come from God; yet here they are praying to Mary that she gives them this or that. Many Marion apparitions are infamous for the promises of Mary. She can give you nothing. God gives everything.

You guys actuallly believe this nonsense, or you just happen to think society would be better organized and generally work better if we all (or most of us) did?

I ask because I agree that society would probably work better if we all believed the same thing, and also because faith is so obviously self deception and religion so obviously false.

It's a legit belief. You all appear just as ignorant from this side. We have faith witch is not logic it's a energetic substance and a belief in what is unknown by documentation of an encounters with the divine. We don't care about this world or its needs because in the end it will belong to the daemon sultan and the others who have been kicked out of heaven. Our objective is not to fix this world that was given to the Hebrews that run it , but to leave it and go on to the next our father has prepared. This world is hopeless filthy and nothing more than a solution for all the flakes that are too limited to logic to transcend into our fathers kingdom. If you don't have faith you won't understand this. To you it's like looking at a different alphabet. You've not undergone any initiation you've not invited the spirit into your life. You're a clueless heathen. An animal who is less than human squandering logic because your weak little brain couldn't possible comprehend anything past what man has written down for you as "fact". You belong here with the rest of the beasts to serve the jews while we're taken away to the holy tabernacle that he built for the lamb he gave us.

Maybe I shouldn't say what you deserve that's up to God. But to answer your question yes we believe it. Those who don't and think it's for keeping society under control are not Christian they're just people who think it looks good to go to church and will burn just like you. If you want to change society and the way things are go take it up with the Hebrews in "israel" (if you would even call it that) they're the ones in control of it not your government , not the church , not the UN , they do through AIPAC and other lodges like b'nai b'rith .

I wouldn't know. Freemasonry is forbidden by the Church of Jesus Christ, known as "Catholic".

Some say the higher levels, the satanism behind Freemasonry becomes apparent. I wouldn't know about that either.

Freemasonry is a protestant thing, mostly.

Men who wear aprons and high heels… no girls allowed…… a symbol with the letter G that nobody will give you a strait answer about…… I wanted to be one but I didn't fit what they needed. It's basically a fraternity for gay men. That's what the G stands for. Theirs also kabbalahistic magic sermons. It's all sponsored by talmudic jews. It's true what people are saying they're the antichrist and freemasonry is just a collection of gentile faces that they use. It's the equivalent of selling your soul but you literally enter into a slavery type ordeal with them. What I was doing was going and building the actual kaballah fire. It's a place where they basically supply drugs and a "rule-free" zone to recreate Babylonia. This is to test the gentiles to see if they'll follow the commandments of God and then they trick you into denieing christ and influence aethieism and homo stuff. They believe that gentile are to be tried like this to feed Satan to keep Satan from molesting Israel because of some deal. It's all in the zohar.

>contains knowledge that even modern day sociologist are just figuring out

That's just not true, though. And also, every other religion makes the same exact claim about the books they consider holy scriptures.

The Muslim claim constantly that the Qu'ran contains information that science only recently discovered, just like Christians do. THeir claims aren't valid, you claims aren't valid.

Hey, it was YOU who said that "society would be better organized and generally work better if we all did. I agree…"

Why do you think the Bible was right 7000 & 2000 years ago but society, which rejects the Word of God, is wrong?

And look at your Moslems…. they'd still be bronze age if it wasn't for the pagans buying their oil. All the great Molsem advances in science died out

>it was YOU who said that "society would be better organized and generally work better if we all did"

Because social cohesion comes from people all following an idea, even if that idea is wrong, as the Bible clearly is.

>And look at your Moslems…. they'd still be bronze age if it wasn't for the pagans

As would be the Christians if not for secular advances in moral and scientific thinking. Do I need to remind you that slavery is a concept the Bible supports? To whatever degree you oppose slavery, you're secular. And what about the constitution of the USA? The first amendement directly contradicts the first commandment.

If you were born in a Muslim country, you would make the exact arguments you're making, only using the Qur'an instead of the Christian scriptures, and your arguments would ve as valid.

Yes, I agree society would be better organized if we all followed the Bible, and I also think society would be better organized if we all followed the Qur'an. Neither book is true, though.

>That's just not true

…is a meme. I see studies all the time which justify (pre woke) psych and soci literature.

The people that say "That's just not true" almost always use this dogmatically without citing any sources; they now even go so far as to outright bully their academic subordinates AND peers into compliance in spite of research.

Christians have seen this for a while, and now the institutions are turning against anything that puts secular ideas right of center at risk too.

Popular narratives in media which contradict OT&NT fall flat on their face all the time too when looked at honestly.

Its not unheard of for Muslim's to acknowledge Jesus as the Messaiah, for some the Koran is simply their mandate as Mohomadans. All sorts of bad theology is very popular, but when the actual scriptures are poured over, the truth becomes clear.

You flippantly give "secular" all the credit for scientific advances, ignoring all the scientist who were religious e.g. Issac Newton et al…

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_lay_Catholic_scientists

Moslems for example, believe the earth is flat.

"Secular" morality is hedonism, and sacrificing children to moloch, and the Chinese practice of harvesting organs from folks they don't like to donate to the elite, election fraud, etc.

Whums iff argument ignored. At least the Catholics taught logic. Your secular schools ditched logic and reason in public schools and replaced it with "diversity".

Christ is risen!

I went to what would have been my third Divine Liturgy at a church I found for Pascha today, but the doors were locked. I checked the schedule online, and everything said it was the same time as usual. I went back to my car because it was cold and raining, and returned to check the door like 5 more times, but it was never unlocked.

So that's the story of how I missed Divine Liturgy on Pascha this year. I hope everything is alright, I really like this ROCOR parish I found.

Truly He is Risen!

That is bizarre experience. Was this at a fairly small parish? Perhaps the priest was sick and directed the rest of the parish to neighboring areas?

So it turns out the door I was trying to use is only unlocked if a certain person happens to be there that day, and everyone in the parish uses the back door primarily. Big mix-up was all it was, thank God, I was just too new to know that and too shy to poke around.

I'll be ready for next year, and God-willing I'll be able to receive communion.

Constantly find myself coming back to orthodoxy but never commiting. I genuinely hate my life and don't understand why god has given me such a burden. I struggle with wanting to be a girl and I ended up taking tranny pills and I don't know if I want to continue. I hate the role placed upon me by god. I hate that he didn't just create me as an orthodox christian woman so I could be a wife. No I have to be a man. I'm probably possesed but they only do exorcisms on baptized orthodox folks. I also dabbled in tne occult and regret it. It didn't bring me what I wanted. Also if I stop the pills I'll loose my hair again. Forgive me if this isn't a complete orthodox topic. I don't know what to do anymore.

We all have burdens, you are not unique in that respect, but our burdens are unique to each of us. Most of the time the burden is just the struggle with the fallen world. Sometimes God allows us to be tested as a result of our sins, to see how we react to temptation. All of these struggles are for the benefit of our salvation. You want to be a woman but God created you as a man, that will be your cross to carry until the end. God made you a man and gave you certain talents, glorify God with those talents. Put aside your own desires because most often they are false and are deluded by your passions and follow God's will instead. Orthodoxy is not the easy route, it is the only route, and it will make you truly human.

If you are indeed possessed then continue on with studying Orthodoxy and putting it into practice. Attend liturgy so that you will be surrounded by the grace of God. This will weaken the demons within you. If you complete you catechesis then you will have exorcism prayers read over after your baptism.

I dabbled in the occult also prior to my entrance into Orthodoxy, don't worry about it now it is in the past. First thing to do is create a prayer rule, nothing big in the beginning. Maybe the Lord's prayer morning and night. If that is even too much, then just make the sign of the cross upon arising and going to bed. Begin to think about God more than you normally do and try at least to create a feeling of gratitude. God Bless.

Hello /christian/s, I have few question that you more advanced guys might find silly.

First one: when we pray the Lord prayer, we say "Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven". But isnt the ruler of this earthly world satan?

If anybody could clarify this seeming contradiction to me, I would appriciate it alot.

Next question: We pray "Give us our daily bread". The bread is our Fathers bread, which came down from the heaven. We are praying for the spiritual light of Christ, daily, not the bread that fills us physically, right?

Next question: "Lead us not into temptation". Does our Father lead us in temptation? I know we are praying to not be led into temptation, but is the implication that he can lead us in temptation?

May the Christ lighten our path and give us strength, I hope you all have a nice day.

these are good questions anon,

when we speak about Gods will being done on earth and satans rulership over the world as the god our society goes after, its important to consider in what way satan is actually the ruler of the world and what exactly are we meaning when we say world.

The power that satan has on this earth is a spiritual one not a physical one, satan cannot divert a river or cause a tornado, he cant even lift a stone, his power is worked through the hearts of sinful man. Satan works his power through the hearts of man but not through nature, this is why satan has to ask for Gods permission before striking Job down with disease, he doesn't have the authority to have power over nature (the physical world) God however DOES work his power through nature, many bible verses talk about God affecting nature Isaiah 50:2 for example, he causes storms and ends them, remember Jesus calming the storm with words "Quiet! Be still!". So even though satan is the god of this world we have to reckon to exactly what it means to be the god of this world and what the Lord means when he says satan is a "god" . First of all there are multiple uses for the words "this world" you could be talking about the physical rock we are on, you could be talking about the universe or you could be talking about simply all of humanity, this range of meaning of the word "world" becomes obvious if you realise the translation of that word from the biblical greek is "Kosmos". So when the Lord says satan is god over this world he is talking about the hearts of humanity and their civilisation and not the physical world. Now onto the meaning of satan being a "god" we know that there are many gods in this world, even athiests dont say in presupposition "false god" when talking about the gods of greece and egypt and same with the bible because they truly are the gods of egypt and greece, just the same satan truly is the god of this world but just how Ra and zeus are truly the gods of egypt and greece yet are unable to affect even the smallest of physical phenomona so too is satan the true god of the "world" even though he cant affect it.

On the question about His will be done on the earth.

All comes from God.

He made, and is higher than, all.

Satan is not higher than Jesus Christ.

Satan is the god of _this_ world.

"_this_ world" is not speaking of the earth, but Satan's system that is upon it, the same as bread was not speaking of dough, but Gods kingdom within us.

Gods will comes in light. God is perfect, and His kingdom is within you. His name is holy.

But for Satan,…

The wicked aren't even willed to anything unless God rains on them lol.

They'd be pagans out in the wilderness, carving idols and making strife with trees, if they weren't rained on.

The demons have to hope that the unclean are rained on by God, for in the day of the wicked this is how they even have a house to begin their evil deeds. The unclean house demons within their body.

Compare this to the Lord, who can walk on water the same as not knowing you're naked (like a video game maker using noclip on a map editor :D ), who can just say to the sea "give me a path," and it be granted to Him, parted. He can do all. His very will was to make the earth, and all above and below it.

And He willed that <3

And his spirit, went across it.

Satan being the god of this world is greatly nothing like Jesus Christ being Lord. It's just to say that something was given to Satan.

To help you understand, when all of the earth was flooded, the earth was still here, but _this_ world was not, because that which Satan pries on was nowhere.

4f913e No.857211

>is the implication that he can lead us to temptation?

He can do all.

He made the earth.

Some reminders:

He can make you understand all languages without knowing them (pentacost)

He can walk on water

He can part the sea

He can turn water in to wine, and bread in to fish

He can heal you

He knows what's on your heart before you even begin to put a word to your mouth

He can lead His only begotton son, Him!, to be given for death on the cross.

Think about this. You're leading someone that is PERFECT,… to death.

Your power is so great, you can lead perfection to death.

And just something I thought sounded cool was that he made the earth just by saying things.

Like if I stood in my kitchen and said "let there be Mac and cheese" oh boy yes please.

Like imagine you just say "let there be a Lambo outside" and it is granted to you.

Pretty neat. Brb car sound outsi-

>bread

A fitting thing to remember here is His word.

"I give you all".

By His power and perfection, I believe in His prayer that it can give us all versions of what a word can mean, just as he gave us knowing of them…and reminders for things.

Pray to Him in knowledge of His wisdom, that when you say "daily bread" in prayer, His might may be to work within you, in His kingdom, overflowing you with His holy spirit, and, to fill you with food :)

I've been reading here for a while and found some users speak like/as Christians but are not Christians. They cause confusion, or they try to insert their own satanic beliefs into their so called Christianity. I won't name names.

Could someone give a SIMPLE standard to determine who is or isn't a Christian no matter what branch they follow?

I'm afraid God disagrees with you.

Have you heard the idiom "a wolf in sheep's clothing"?

Did God tell you "'Don't judge people' means you should be a blind fool", or "I'll tell you every time I see a wolf in sheep's clothing"?

If everyone can claim that they are Christians, then Christianity is nothing. Have you heard the term excommunication? Or does this Christian board mostly cater for the expelled?

"Christian" is the one who is like the Christ.

Being like the Christ means that he can apply the Law in the right way, or does walk through the teachings of the OT, applied with a wisdom that comes from the Gods authority.

God made men as his image and likeness, and the Christ was the perfect man, but remember that God didn't gave the Law to Adam.

The ones that follow the path of perfection are the so called "Christians", the Law (Pentateuch) is a good reference for this path, but is a limited reference, the complete one comes from the Holy Ghost inspiration.

Albanian historiography is a thin field but the weight of opinion, including accounts by Reginald Hibbert, later an eminent diplomat, who was a wartime British liaison officer with the resistance in Albania, supports the opposite line. Many “nationalists” collaborated with the Germans, and it was the communist partisans who conducted most fighting — which is why they were the group that took control of the country on liberation. Hoxha was not the bravest or most efficient of the partisans and it was thanks to luck as well as guile that he emerged as leader. But his popularity was genuine and widespread, at least for a time.

Besides the whole Henry VIII thing, what is there to Anglicanism? What do they believe? Can you be an Anglican as a non-Anglo / non-Commonwealth citizen?

So Anglicans are just trying to figure out why they exist since their sect was founded by the horny instead of by any theological reasons. They're constantly trying to distinguish themselves from both protestantism and traditional Christianity (especially Catholicism), so different theological movements have been encouraged and suppressed to attain that. In practice it just ends up being general high-church Protestantism but without a point. You see a lot of homos that think the Catholic church is too mean end up there, some people with mostly traditional Christian beliefs that just reject the pope too (too retarded to look to Orthodoxy). Sometimes it looks like so called 'old / independent catholicism'. You might see some high-church inclined protestants that don't like Lutheran or Calvinist particulars. If the only protestant conviction a man has is sola scriptora, and they aren't even too radical about that, they might end up here. They are probably the most interesting protestants to me because they often claim to adhere to apostolic tradition and hold apostolic succession (really the things that separate protestants from the rest), but it is held as an auxiliary source of authority with scripture really being primary for Anglicans. Also, i don't think any traditional Christian church recognizes their line of succession. You have a range from fairly low-church and homo-loving, women-'ordaining' Anglicans to the anglo-catholics, some of which have even looked for union with rome in recent decades. Some of them have attained it. There is the 'personal ordinariates' in the Catholic Church. Basically very large dioceses that consist of anglican converts and hold certain anglican pratices, included a third anclican use form of the latin rite mass. Anglo-catholicism is part of the 'continuing anglican' movement. These are those more 'conservative' Anglicans that find themselves removed from communion with the archbishop of Canterbury.

What I do know is the bcp is great to use for daily devotion. So I thank their tradition for that. C.S Lewis was an Anglican, and his apologetics are great.

Anglican Church was founded by a man who wanted to divorce his wives so he could have a legitimate heir, and the Church said no.

So, he split from the church, stole church property, looted Church coffers, and allowed his soldiers to rape and murder nuns and priests.

It was born in the desire for mortal sin, and was bathed in the blood of martyrs.

Now the head of the Church is claiming she's some sort of Moslem Leader as well.
