I was genuinely blown away by this one --- WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers, a Chinese-style Soulslike ARPG developed by Chengdu Lingze Technology and published by 505 Games, is finally up for pre-order! The Standard Edition is priced at ¥248, and the Deluxe Edition at ¥298. It’s set to launch on the Epic Games Store on July 24th — Soulslike fans, it’s time to get hyped!

Set in the chaotic final years of the Ming Dynasty, the game follows a mysterious female protagonist named "Wuchang," afflicted by a strange condition known as "Feathering." As she battles through a world filled with supernatural threats and civil unrest, she seeks to uncover hidden truths and reclaim her lost memories.

What really hooked me is the way it blends elements of ancient Shu civilization, Ming-era folklore, and Lovecraftian horror. The art direction oozes Chinese grotesque aesthetics, and the boss designs even gave me some Bloodborne vibes!

The latest trailer shows off a deep combat system, with skill and weapon technique combos that look seriously polished. The impact feels solid, and the visual effects strike a great balance between stylish and grounded. I honestly didn’t expect a domestic studio to pull off something this refined --- color me impressed!

Bottom line: if you're into Soulslikes, traditional Chinese themes, or dark and mysterious narratives, this is one game you absolutely shouldn't miss!
