Play in the federation, kinligong or romulan empire. Get a starship, build a crew, do dogfights in space, do away missions with your custom crew of 5 npcs, run story missions because after 15 years there's a fuck ton and just about everyone who was ever in star wars makes chameo apperacnes with the real actors doing voice over work. its a trekie's wet dream.

Yeah, they get different ships, different races and different story missions. its like horde and alliance in wow

there is but I haven't spent too much time with it. there's also random world pve events but they're rare unless you hunt them down
the entire map is the milky way galaxy that you warp through, then you drop into star systems and eventually beam down onto planet surfaces or space stations

From what I've seen, yes. Unfortunatly the PVP isn't as dogged as WoW

just do patrols. I leveled three chars to 60 in a day. but that wont get you all the gear, ships and dil for upgrading. plus all the real good stuff is pay walled behind packs that launch three times a year.
