What really hooked me is the way it blends elements of ancient Shu civilization, Ming-era folklore, and Lovecraftian horror. The art direction oozes Chinese grotesque aesthetics, and the boss designs even gave me some Bloodborne vibes!
The latest trailer shows off a deep combat system, with skill and weapon technique combos that look seriously polished. The impact feels solid, and the visual effects strike a great balance between stylish and grounded. I honestly didn’t expect a domestic studio to pull off something this refined — color me impressed!
