The native resolution is 720p and that gets downscaled to 480p and sent to the gamepad. For the tv it had a hardware 1080p upscaler.

best part of a secondary screen is you can offload the ui. every single game is better 'raw', without any ui elements. even a single ui element ruins the world you're looking at. similar to how subtitles ruin a movie.

I stillplay my WiiU all the time, the golf part of Sports Club is great, you put the pad on the ground and can see the ball and where youre hitting it, very fun. Between Nintendoland with asymmetric multiplayer, Warioware and sports we never get bored.

The wiiu was a genuinely great console and superior to the switch which killed the handheld to boot

I agree with this criticism, but it's kind of a moot point with console commands. I added the Special point manually the first time I played but I came to the realization that in TTW, with the level cap being 50 and getting the Almost Perfect perk at level 30, you have another 10 perk levels. If you do Operation Anchorage, The Pitt, Mothership Zeta and the main quest/Broken Steel, you can get to level 35 pretty easily before doing Point Lookout and most of the side quests.

Even if you take Logan's Loophole instead you can get just as much if not more mileage than the bobbleheads SPECIAL point, especially if you spec into crafting. Or the Early Bird trat, which gives you +2 to all SPECIAL stats permanently as long as you're willng to use the Wait function or Sleep outside of in-game daylight hours.

I remember playing a demo for some star trek thing in the early 00's, third person action game with several characters. One mission was an infiltration in a winter setting using gadgets, another was a melee brawl as a klingon. Felt like the coolest thing at the time, but I haven't heard a thing about that game since.

ME1 > ME3 > ME2

Getting rid of exploration was a mistake.

Thermal clips and global cooldowns were complete garbage for combat combined with the most limited customization in the entired trilogy.

ME3 alleviated some of these issues and thermal clips actually made some sense due to the very fast reload.

ME2 gets carried hard by the characters (not all of them), loyalty missions and final few hours.

Still a great game but I don't get why it is the favourite for most.

Necroreply but Bioware was like that as far back as KotOR. If you did Juhani's companion quest as a female character, you did get a romance dialog option at the very end of the game after confronting Bastila. But yes, the Overton window has shifted so far that classic Bioware is "problematic".
