I've just picked up Grandia HD Remaster. I feel like killing time in RPGs. What do you suggest other than that?

Others I have in mind for the near future:

There's Dragon Quest 3 too, but after Square officially started censoring things like “male” and “female” I lost confidence that they're capable of making anything other than soulless corporate garbage.

I personally like ports that modernize the original game, but without changing the gameplay (for example, source ports of Doom, Quake, Heretic, etc.). I don't mind paying for them.

But in the case of Grandia, the "remaster" is horrible, the experience on the emulator is infinitely better.

The original translations for some titles are horrible, it would be nice to see someone make effort to make a genuine version.

I'd also like to see some QoL like faster load times.

But when they add shaders or have sprites & backgrounds in different resolutions it looks like ass and makes it very hard to immerse yourself.

Despite this, the Star Ocean 3 remake demo was brilliant.

I don't know how, but the frame rate keeps fluctuating between 29 and 25 frames per second on my PC (RTX3090/i910900). I've seen several possible solutions in the Steam discussions, but none of them have improved the game for me, the frame rate is all fucked up, it's insane.

I just came back to the game, I really want Carlotta, ZheZhi and Phoebe. I would also like their weapons. Although I would like Zani and the Elf with their weapons I think Carlotta and ZheZhi are the better choice. I plan to buy all the packs on refresh which should give me around 160 pulls minus any extra shit I have saved. Am I making the right choice going for Carlotta and Zhe or should I put my focus elsewhere? I already got Shoko. My plan is to basically get character>get weapon and go from there.

Carlotta is very good but Zhezhi is not needed if you have S6 Sanhua. If you do get her, I don't think you need her weapon since you can use anything. I think weapons aren't worth it unless you're equipping them on a main DPS because supports aren't on the field for long.

Carlotta is mostly a single target DPS, but Phoebe is AoE which is more useful for most of the events since they have multiple enemies.

It doesn't even have any 'sex scenes' and infact some servers with this mod outright banned 'nsfw' stuff, but had it only as a joke.

This has also happened to other mod authors who made content mojang/microsoft disliked or considered 'too offensive' despite being legal in most countries. There's actually quite a bunch being censored including some mods that introduce Witcher level gore and more. It is why you might suddenly see the mod you are looking at mysteriously pulled down, they will threaten the mod author and blackmail them then blacklist all servers. This is how Mojang/Microsoft deals with any mods they don't like and why you might be wondering that you won't ever see certain mods.

Yet 'schools with guns servers' are still allowed to stay up.

Time for an open source alternative to Minecraft, maybe with a world, enemies and npcs similar to what you find in all RPG maker games. Basically 3D RPG maker in an open sandbox world? Though who could actually do that?

There were many servers who even had 18+ verification and disallowed people who were not from entering, but mojang also blacklisted those too for having this mod because they wanted it to be wiped out.

Is there anything that states because it was Mojang disliking the mod for how it is in spite of it not even being graphic besides one part with the chemicals?

And the copyrighted characters included in the mod (Because there's lots, some from different animes and others from disney).
