France and Germany are exploring a proposed land-based ballistic missile system from ArianeGroup, the Franco-German aerospace firm behind Ariane rockets and France’s M51 missiles.

• The House passed a resolution introduced by Rep. Gregory Meeks, D-N.Y., to overturn President Donald Trump’s tariffs on Canada.

• On Tuesday, three House Republicans voted with Democrats to defeat a measure that would have prohibited such votes through the summer.

• The House sent a strong signal to Trump over tariffs,though the president is likely to veto any anti-tariff legislation that reaches his desk.
