La France Va Construire Un Nouveau Porte-Avions

PARIS, 21 décembre (Reuters) - Le président Emmanuel Macron a confirmé dimanche son intention de construire un nouveau porte-avions plus grand et plus moderne pour remplacer le porte-avions vieillissant Charles de Gaulle et renforcer la puissance maritime de la France.

Le programme, connu sous le nom de “Porte-Avions Nouvelle Génération” (PANG), devrait coûter environ 10,25 milliards d'euros (12 milliards de dollars).

Le gouvernement français a déclaré que le nouveau navire serait opérationnel d'ici 2038, lorsque le porte-avions Charles de Gaulle devrait prendre sa retraite. Les travaux sur les composants de propulsion nucléaire ont débuté l'année dernière et la commande finale doit être passée dans le cadre du budget 2025.

Le PANG, qui serait le plus grand navire de guerre jamais construit en Europe, est au cœur de la dissuasion nucléaire de la France et de la volonté de l'Europe d'une plus grande autonomie de défense face à la guerre de la Russie en Ukraine et à la réticence du président américain Donald Trump à soutenir la sécurité du continent.

Maintenant, à défaut Macron veut s'entretenir avec Poutine.

Lorsque nous examinons les derniers mouvements d'Emmanuel Macron, nous pouvons voir que la nouvelle impulsion du président français à s'entretenir avec le Russe Vladimir Poutine est une autre tentative désespérée de rester pertinente.

Dans le cadre de la "coalition des volontaires", Macron partageait la scène européenne bondée avec le Britannique Keir Starmer et l'Allemand Friedrich Merz. Ensemble, ils travaillaient à faire dérailler le processus de paix.

Mais Merz a pris les devants lorsque des négociations significatives ont eu lieu il y a quelques jours à Berlin – pas à Paris.

Macron a donc dû trouver de nouvelles façons de rester "pertinent", de peur qu'il ne se remette à s'occuper des problèmes de la France, où il détient une pathétique popularité de 11% dans les sondages.

Ainsi, vendredi (19), Macron a déclaré qu'il serait "utile" pour l'Europe de renouer le dialogue avec Poutine.

C'est en fait un geste astucieux, en ce sens qu'aucun des autres Euro-mondialistes ne peut pivoter assez vite pour lui voler cette nouvelle initiative.

‘Il est dans notre intérêt en tant qu'Européens et Ukrainiens de trouver le bon cadre pour relancer cette discussion".

Et donc, nous en sommes arrivés au point où Macron et Poutine pourraient se diriger vers des pourparlers bilatéraux sur l'Ukraine.
