Hinduism is very much like the ancient pagan religions of the Medeterrain.

in fact the Christians were very pro pagan: they wanted the pagans to understand what they got wrong and reform so that they could come to God and follow Jesus and thus be saved.

And Hinduism isn't anti-Christian. The people just haven't heard about Jesus Christ yet.

Pagans make great Christians once they understand what they'd always been getting wrong.
