"Anon Digs": What's Really Notable

Bakers generally have a pretty good idea of the kind of thing that belongs in notables: well-sauced digs, articles, pf/boatfag reports, anon response fo current events, FOR KEKS posts and genuine Q proofs (often nommed if they're valid).

There's currently a new baker who's been notabling unsauced digs that supposedly show a meaningful relationship between Q posts and posts made by Pres. Trump or his family (or mil posts). He calls those anons digs and prefers them to other notables. He's also put board politics in the notes to stir up dissent because he wants the board different than it is now.

When asked what he's doing and why, he ignores the question and becomes abusive. He is not banned as baker. But has been relieved as baker several times as a result, see links below.

This is a new problem that apparently requires a RULE that most bakers will never need. Here it is:

Posts made to link Q drops to current events need real sauce (not just two images with zero explanation). The sauce should include a link to the post in question (from TS, etc) plus a description of why the two posts relate to one another. If timestamps are relevant, should be in Eastern Time only. Preferably they should be NOMMED by someone other than the baker at least once to be included in notables (even then, baker can say no).

These are reasonable guidelines most bakers already follow. A baker not even up to these minimal standards needs to either step up or step down. Anons who see a problem should ask about it.

If baker doesn't respond, it's legit for another baker to take over the bake. This may be easiest if there's admins around, but is justifiable with or wo/them. Next baker can either start a new thread or bake a new bread after claiming the bake once it's clear why they are doing it. If the notes are junk, best to someone to retrieve new ones.

Necessary Components of a Meme

1. Brevity, Brevity, Brevity.BREVITY IS THE SOUL OF WIT. A meme must impact the viewer within seconds with minimal cogitative processing. It should reflect the soul of truth which never requires mental gymnastics. The parables in the Bible are a great example of this. Great memes convey volumes of UNDERSTANDING (not words) through intrinsic truths in concert with universally accessible images.

2. The relationship between text and imagery should be relevant, but it shouldn’t be exactly the same. Both the image and text need to work together to create a quick, impactful viewing experience.

3. While humor is certainly an important aspect of memes, it is not necessarily the deciding factor of what makes a successful, wide-spread meme. Still, I find that humor is often the best avenue for memes as people are so stressed out with the topics memes deal with. It is both a refreshing change and necessary I believe to be able to laugh about these topics.

4. The image needs to beBOLD & CLEAR. When one sees the image, one must immediately know the intention.

5. Ironic memes begin to creep into the territory of edgy or “Dank” memes.

6. Dank memes may center on topics such as 911, Mass Shootings, or the fact that Jeffery Epstein Didn’t Kill Himself.

7. A good meme should be relatable. You don’t want to base your meme on something with a niche following. You want it to resonate with a ubiquitous tone, vocaPost too long. Click here to view the full text.

Baking Well

Baking, the process of transitioning threads, has a long tradition on the chans.

Each platform has its own approach and each board has its own baking culture.

But common to all is the sense that bakers hold a unique position when baking: they can make or break the bread they bake according to their competency, care & respect for the anons they serve.

No two bakers bake the same. No two have the same style or produce the same exact notables. But experienced bakers know how to more or less hit the mark most of the time and maintain their composure through thick and thin.

WELCOME to all new bakers.

You may be a solo baker but you're never really alone. Your job is practical but has overtones of something greater, which is why its traditions matter.

BAKING WELL means baking to serve: to serve the board, the bread, and the anons who post. Also to honor the tradition of baking itself. It's more than mastering the mechanics, it's preserving and honoring the spirit of the bake.

The rate of stillbirth quadrupled for women aged 15 — 19, from 6.27 in 2012 to 26.32 in 2023, as reported by MountainViewToday.

For women aged 20 – 24, the rate doubled over the same period.

Another mid-flight mishap involving a Boeing plane forced a Los Angeles-bound flight to return to JFK International Airport in New York on Friday — this time because the Delta aircraft’s emergency slide fell off.

Delta Flight 520 departed JFK at around 7:30 a.m., but just an hour into the flight the plane’s emergency alarm sounded, and the crew discovered that they had lost the emergency slide, forcing the pilots to abandon the trip to L.A. and return to the Queens airport, the New York Post reported. The crew had also reported feeling a vibration at the time of the incident, according to the FAA.

Authorities were searching for the lost emergency slide as of Friday afternoon, according to the Post. Sources told the outlet that they believe the chute could be in Jamaica Bay, just west of JFK Airport.
