Steel Ball Run (スティール・ボール・ラン Sutīru Bōru Ran) is the seventh part of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2004 and in Ultra Jump between 2005 and 2011.

Set in the U.S. in 1890, the story follows Johnny Joestar, a paraplegic ex-jockey, and Gyro Zeppeli, master in a mystic art named the Spin, as they compete with a vast number of others in the Steel Ball Run race: a mad-dash across America for a grand prize of 50 million dollars.

They are only minor grievances. I said there were some shit flecks on this fight so I wanted to clarify them. Really the only annoying thing is that Johnny will still have only have Act 2 visible when using Act 3's abilities.

I did say all the main villains have time-based stands, and I think that's technically true, but you all may disagree with me lumping D4C into that category. I will not say what the corpse does exactly, other than it is not time-based and Gyro already kinda described it.

I find everything before part three kinda boring and even idiotic, during part three interesting but not exactly enthralling, and everything after part three hamfisted, starting from Josuke's grandfather dying and Jotaro telling him sometimes people just die, when at the end of part three Joseph was dead for at LEAST twenty minutes, with his spirit ascending to the heavens, before he got revived by the SWF and miraculously came back to life. However, it's getting posted here, it's getting posted with a schedule, and it's getting posted with a crowd, so not only do i have updates to look forward to, but i can see reactions of other people as they see it, which i can sometimes enjoy. Some of this goes back to Homestuck, and the nature of reading something bit by bit and the community going nuts between updates, as opposed to just reading something front to back and missing all the absurdity and speculation from the peanut gallery. Hell, i blazed through the first two parts on my own super fast, and i'm not sure i got half so much thrill out of that as i do from going through these chapters with breaks inbetween.

That's kind of why I like watching anime week by week but I find myself losing some momentum when you have a week between watching things.

I could see there being room for debate even if Araki didn't intend it. The manga isn't told from a consistently omnipotent POV so Pucci wouldn't necessarily be the authority of everything because he talked to Dio, was a priest and got an op stand. The differences between universes muddy the waters a bit as well.

Also I'm curious how the interaction between time stop and time deletion would work. Would the foresight just be a stuck screen and would Diavolo even have the chance to delete time before getting killed?

Incoming negativity I really loved parts 1,2,3, and 4, I was able to get past switching Hamon to stands, and even the big tonal difference in part 4, but I fucking hated part 5, awful writing with mediocre to terrible character development, deus ex machinas and Mary Sue shit. Even after the Requiem boost the only thing Gio made was a scorpion and a bee. Really bummed he never made anything bigger in the entire part. GE Requiem might be badass but seeing tigers and sharks popping up from the ground would've been nice to see. Araki should've made the final battle longer and included more Gio summoning huge animals to attack Diavolo instead of that weird rock epilogue.

Vento Aureo (黄金の風 Ōgon no Kaze, lit. "Golden Wind") is the fifth story arc of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, published in Weekly Shonen Jump between 1995 and 1999. Originally titled JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 5 Giorno Giovanna: Golden Heritage (ジョジョの奇妙な冒険 第5部 ジョルノ・ジョバァーナ【黄金なる遺産】 JoJo no Kimyō na Bōken Dai Go Bu Joruno Jobāna [Ōgon naru Isan]), the arc spans a total of 155 chapters and takes place after Diamond Is Unbreakable.

Set in 2001 Italy, the story follows Giorno Giovanna and his dream to rise within the Neapolitan mafia and defeat the boss of Passione, the most powerful and influential gang, in order to become a "Gang-Star". With the aid of a capo and his men, and fueled by his own resolve, Giorno sets out to fulfill his goal of absolving the mafia of its corruption.

By the end of Diamond Is Unbreakable, the manga adopted the glamorous art style in which characters go from very muscular to athletic that would define the visual presentation of Vento Aureo and Stone Ocean.

Diamond Is Unbreakable (ダイヤモンドは砕けない Daiyamondo wa Kudakenai?) is the fourth part of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump between 1992 and 1995. I was mostly pointing out SG as an example as something modern that did a lot with time travel and pulled it off well because they dove into it, not necessarily as something that detracts from what Jojo does because it came significantly later.

But a lot of time travels tropes were established in the golden age of scifi if not the victorian era. I guess it depends on the media but I don't think something has to come up with a totally original idea to do timetravel well.

Regardless it wasn't really the point of the series and it was a neat ability in the context of the other stands.

Stein's; Gate did a lot of things right.

I only asked because some complaints about JoJo's don't pan out since it either did it first or did it before it became a tired trope usually, but I'm not so well versed in media to know when that applies.

For certain though, as a faggot of the series, my first impression of The World was a bit underwhelming. I had mentally built it up so high that stopping time seemed so… elementary? Like literally something an elementary school student would think up. I think this is because Araki didn't know what he wanted The World to do until around the chapter Shooting DIO!? Before then it was theorized to be all the stands the Joestars could use or every stand at the same time. Because of this the writing of the final chapters turned into a hot mess. However this is a hot mess I want to pour all over myself so I guess I'm just a sick fuck.

JoJo was serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump from 1987[1] until 2004, when it then transferred to the monthly seinen magazine Ultra Jump, where the story continues.
