>The corpse's power was cool but definitely didn't live up to all the hype it was given, D4C's power seemed cooler tbh. Speaking of D4C that shit was amazing but the fact that it has access to infinite worlds leads to so many what ifs, one that bothered me a lot was the fact that valentine only brought a couple of clones of himself over instead of an army or some advanced weaponry.
I honestly thought Love Train was going to be an army of Valentines based on the name and an inconsequential tidbit from a conversation with a friend. Your other points touch on this too, but it's just unfortunate that Araki writes a cool power and does not explore it properly. I think Echoes was the worst offender of this, and despite that I still really enjoyed him and D4C. I love Gappy, but he kinda has this issue too.
>Valentine told Dio to make Johnny hit himself with the infinite rotation, Valentine knew one of the only people in the world who could stop the infinite rotation was Johnny himself(so much so that he ended up trying to bargain with him) so the fact that he told Dio to trap Johnny with it boggles my mind.
Eh. Yeah. To be fair that did work though, DIO got the corpse to the vault and if Johnny wasn't Norisuke Ex Machina'd then he'd be dead and even after still wasn't the one to stop DIO.
>Something else I didn't like was Valentine's conclusion. Johnny was actually going to believe him and let him go but Valentine went full retard and decided to try and shoot him.
I think it's the literary equivalent of a Donkey Punch.
>Also the fact that Valentine didn't just find an alternate universe Johnny that was evil who would end up freeing him seems like a big plothole.
kek, I actually didn't think of that. Now that I think about it though a much simpler and better solution would have just been to have DIO pop out of the ground and kill Valentine. Given their deal and DIO's MO it'd make perfect sense and raise the stakes against him that much higher.
