well you may get another chance sooner than you think. newsbaker is ghosting the current bred @300 and i can't do it - get eyestrain from too much baking from looking intently for notables. Very different from ordinary screen time.

It's not just notables - it's the tension surrounding the bake too. When i was younger, would have been purely psychological. But now it shows up in the body as well. Baking is hard work, we need to take care of ourselves in order to bake over time.

News got it, I ran into body error and speed limitations phone tagging. I was trying to update pastebin couldn't edit. I got the qbin but it was said was glitching. I got down editing qbin but not pastebin

For some reason, i found the whole idea of pastebin quite confusing at first. Function of pastebin is to to enable bakers to transfer the dough right?
So when u bake, at the start of a bread, you find the pastebin link and put it in your browser to view the old dough.
Then convert that dough into something you can edit or download using either "Raw" or "Clone" - true whether you do the work (mostly collecting notables) within pastebin/qanonbin (etc) or in notepad.
When you bake, the last step is to copy paste the entire dough into pastebin - using 'new Paste'. Where it will sit until next baker accesses it.
Only other thing you do sometim during the bake is to make room for new notables (otherwise, the notables post would become longer and longer). See steps 3a and 3b of baking instructions for a demo:

qanonbin is the new one - brand new

great that newsbaker is creating it
no captcha makes a surprisingy big difference when baking
although that's not the only reason we want something other than pastebin
When i said "the only thing you do sometime during the bake," i was referring to "doing something" with the dough.
Most of the time, bakers just chase notables - until the notables bun gets fat and they have to consolidate the old notables to make room for new ones.
Consolidating = deleting the a bread's notables and just leaving the link and bread number. The vids and slides make it clearer how this happens.

If for real, you'd have a link for #12389 notables, too.
Also, the goal is to keep as much as possible while avoid "body too long". So you could probably keep one more bun and still be ok. If not, then you could use two pages for notables - very common now.

Some ideas for keeping buns moderate size:
- don't try to get every single potential notable if there's a lot of stuff going on
- each baker has different way of prioritizing but some ideas:
* ask anons to nom (then gives noms priority unless weird)
* ask anons for brief descriptions (espec for anon analyses/charts) do not try to figure them out, total time waster - if they are really good, anons will usually nom
* if there's lotsa news, give US and most relevant countries first priority (newsfag anon will bring you stuff from all over - it's ok but he can post two dozen items per bread sometimes, not all of it has to go in)
* if not sure, ask anons "in or out?"
* post LAST CALL early even at 600 when new - if feedback comes too late in bread, defer to next bred (happens a lot, can't be helped, shills do on purpose)
Having said this, i tend to notable more rather than less - but not as much as i used to. Often wait for noms on anything that isn't obvious notable material if bread is fast or i pick up the bake late (after 400). Anons know when you pick up late that bun will be kind of light - that's when i DEFINITELY ask for noms.

just my opinion:
I try to note everything that looks relevant, well-written and has sauce, and I think it's also good for anons and other consumers of notables to have some info about what's going on in the rest of the world.
there are many thousands of people looking at our notables every day and I like for them to be high quality.
also I always see more stuff that I think is notable than what anons nom.

this is a good tip though, I should probably do this more.
and of course when you pick up a late bake that's different, it's totally fine to leave the bun blank and ask anons to help collect last bread's notables while you bake the current bread. I actually prefer this over only having time to grab a few notes and calling it a day.

Well, GMT graphic anon (or someone) showed up in #12406 or 12407 to express their displeasure. By 12408, was really cranky.

Hey guys noob here. I have made mistakes in my bakes and it seems shills are using those mistakes to discredit the hardworking bakers. I think it is best for me to be an emergency or backup because I can not correct or see mistakes very well on my tiny screen. It sucks because I really want to help. I did this morning 12423 as the catalog was jacked and shills seized the opportunity to attack bakers. It didn't help I messed up the GMT post. GMT anon called me out which fed the shills. I have no problem being called out, but I do have a problem being responsible for any division or discredit to you guys. If I get a PC I'll try to go full time. I served 12 years mil and I know duty sucks with a small staff. You all are the backbone of comms and I 100% respect and appreciate you all. I will be in qresearch digging and supporting as I always have. I'll check here daily as well. God bless you bakers!

There are lots of things you can do to help, just for one example, drawing shill fire away from bakers especially if they are newer.
The GMT thing is not your fault, a previous baker had edited that section to save space in the dough, which I think is necessary.. but seems like that needs a bit more work.

He certainly did, that that was ON HIM, not your. That's why I called him out and told him to leave alone a new baker. And said to you to make either choice (did what he asked or not) - because i knew bakers would either accept it or revert the dough later. No problem either way.
Oldfag anons like GMT anon know - or ought to know - that new bakers are not in a position to deal with stuff like this. Kitch works as a team - with anything complex, experienced bakers always step into help. I could not have handled that situation, either, no when i was new.
If you decide to bake again, pick a name so we'll know it's you - like NOOB or whatever (just an idea, you don't have to). So we can offer support while you are learning. Whether on a phone or PC, it takes a while to learn the ropes. You just got thrown into the deep end of the pool too quick.

Roger that and thanks. I'm trying to find a budget lappy so i can do real work. If I ever see the kitchen in need i will not hesitate to make a bread regardless if i mess up. Comms more important than a perfect bread imho. Ya someone called me noob and I just kept it. Made a qbin keknoob. Hello anon, i see you're using this thread for continuing your archiving work.
Wanted to ask you about something.
@FJ deleted a thread i created in Feb 2019 (Informational Warfare) two months later but i archived it beforehand. Created a replacement thread on /qrb/ board.
SEE BELOW.
Now when i try to blow up the images, get all kinds of "security" error messages.
if i get thru the errors, have a problem because the archive is for 8chan and it won't work.
Can you tell me what's up?

Some of us are now using this info - espec the graphics - and not being able to view them is a real problem.

You need to understand that archive websites on save the thumbnails of the pics.
When no one archived the full sized pics, those will get lost.
I'm not sure why you get that message yourself, media.8ch.net seems to be part of vanwanet (DDoS protection).
I can't save every single full sized image, because i can only do as much as 6 archives per minute. Archiving every single pic of every thread isn't possible for 1 single IP address.

I could also implement something so that I can personally select a thread for full archiving, which would include all pics, but I can't do that for all threads.
For example I would really like to archive the frogs thread in full.
At the same time maybe it makes more sense to download those all and put them on anonfiles.com.

Only possible when the full sized pic was archived too, and then you have to click on the first link above the pictures, it's the same right now for videos (when the video was archived).
In theory the HTML could be modified to deliver the full sized pics immediately.
For example

could be made to use full sized pics instead of the thumbnails for archiving, but that requires changes on 8kun by CodeMonkey.

Will look into expanding my archiving code so that non-qresearch threads can get archived too, and can even get fully archived (every single graphic will get archived, as I said I can't do this for every single General b/c it's simply too much content).
